Grace Bay Beach 7A Eco Resort: Ocean Front +Pool+Lush Gardens

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful property! Private beach, snorkeling right off the beach was amazing. Construction was going on next door but really didn’t bother us. I would say groceries are expensive! We purchased 2 bottles of alcohol before we left our airport. Case of domestic beer $56.00. Best advice check out the brewery, really good beer. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to return, hope the owners don’t sell off the property to future hotel builders.

Very private and conviently located.

Villa Camilla is great! Perfect location easily accessible to everything but very private. Having your own beach access with chairs was great

First off, with this price point, the unit is NOT going to be modern and contemporary. So with that being said, we easily saved $1k USD versus what other 5 night accommodations would have costed that were more plush and updated.
You need to align expectations with that talking point.
HIGHLIGHT REEL***The beach is semi private and 30 steps from the gated coded private entrance to 2 units [A lower&upper].
Unit came with a beach umbrella to anchor into sand which did wonders with not getting fried with intense TCI sun.
The grounds are well maintained and pool offers a lush greenscape of tropical foliage. Outside showers to get that white sand away too.
The beach itself has loungers that are high quality with a locked code very conveniently located to beachfront.
There is decent snorkeling about 100 yards at Coral Gardens Resort with Coral, Trigger fish, Parrot Fish, Grunts, and other colorful ones.
Another big talking point is the property has its own staff. Edson is there around the clock so if anything needs a fix or replacement you don't have to go far. He fixed the igniter on the BBQ grill on deck and Rose helped with taxi service and replacing a broken coffee pot.
There is a great dipping pool also with loungers if you want to pivot to house and pool setup from beach.
Owners are lovely and have owned for a long time so the setup and property is well established without any curve balls. SEMI PRO ALERT :You don't have to worry that this is a newbie listing.
We did the Thursday night fish fry [@Mr Groupers] which is about 6 minutes by taxi or 25 minutes walking. [We did walk at night and this was totally safe FWIW]
Definitely would recommend and hope to stay again! Thank you L&B for a wonderful week!

Villa Camilla is a wonderful tropical get-away conveniently located on Grace Bay Beach. If you are looking for a very private, quiet villa with beach access this is the place. We were surrounded by tropical gardens and had access to a small but delightful pool to cool off in on days where it was too windy to safely swim in the ocean. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, Beth and Larry, which added to a truly unique and outstanding experience. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for solitude and good value for the money.

Absolutely gorgeous area.

The villa’s private location on the beach couldn’t be better. The shaded pool and porch are great. The kitchen appliances need to be updated but this is a wonderful retreat.
4.7
Property was just as described. Edson and Rose were friendly and great with communication. If you would like a section of beach all to yourself and quiet seclusion, this is the place for you. The alarm system is very sensitive and takes some getting use to but we appreciated the added level of security. The Villa is minimal but has everything that we needed. Grocery store is a close drive and it was easy to find many restaurants for our evening meals. Definitely want a rental car if staying here. Would love to visit again!

This unit is a little dated but the property is perfect if you want to be just a tiny bit off the beaten track. We loved the dipping pool and the hammock.

Great location
This was a great place to stay because you are located just far enough away from the resorts that you pretty much have the beach to yourself, yet you are close enough to the resorts that it's easy to walk up to their restaurants. I appreciated the mid-week cleaning, and the grounds were kept very clean as well. It had a lovely deck to sit on, a nice pool to cool off in if you wanted to stay around the house, and it was just a short walk down a path to the beach.
Really, the only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is because of their security system. It's triggered by anything that gets within two feet of the door, and it's unmanned, so when it goes off in the middle of the night (which the unoccupied apartment above us did), there is no one to shut it off. Although the loud clanging shut itself off after a few minutes, the alarm continued its loud beeping all night long until the property manager came out at 5am and shut it off.
Still, I would highly recommend this place if you like privacy and want to enjoy Turks and Caicos away from the crowds.

Fabulous time at Villa Camilla
We had an asbolutely wonderful week at Villa Camilla. The location is amazing, a few steps to a section of Grace Bay Beach that is just far enough away from the resorts to allow for an amazing level of privacy on the beach loungers provided. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool, hammock and other outdoor seating options are terrific. Larry and Beth happened to be there in the main house and were great hosts, and Jade gave us amazing tips on places to go on the island that were truly memorable. The location enables you to just lay on the beach if that's what you want or go exploring the island, as nothing is too far by car. We were sorry to leave and can't wait to go back.

Loved our stay!
We arrived a day late, due to airline delays. Beth helped us submit a letter to our insurance for reimbursement. Trip insurance is a good idea!
But as to our stay- it was wonderful. The lower floor of the apartment was exactly as pictured and described. Jade gave us a tour and explained everything.
We shopped at the IGA, and bought everything we would need for breakfasts and some lunches and dinners.
The apartment is steps away from a gorgeous beach and we headed out most days to just enjoy the warm waters and the snorkeling nearby.
We ate our first night at Somewhere, the restaurant just down the beach. Great service and friendly people!
We didn’t need the A.C., since the fans work so well and the breezes were heavenly.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make pina coladas. We loved eating on the deck or next to the pool.
I snorkeled for hours everyday, then came back and had a great swim in the pool, which is well maintained, clean and in a beautiful setting. Followed by a warm shower in house.
The location was perfect for us. We had rented a car and took some short trips to Sapodilla Bay and to Turtle Cove, and went to stroll around Grave Bay hotel and shopping area. Turtle Cove is absolutely wonderful for snorkeling!
We only ate out a few times, and used the dining guide on the coffee table to make our choice.
We kept saying that this property was absolutely perfect for us! We’d rather spend a longer time in a beautiful place by spending less on the extras, then splurge on expensive meals and have a shorter stay.
Some advice: bring some of your own supplies and save money. We brought coffee, and next time would bring a few other things, like boxed wine! Also, buy some rum and a few cans of frozen pina colada mix and have your own cocktails instead of paying so much for them on the beach!
One small issue was the security alarm which went off many times one day. That was resolved, and no more problems.
We said over and over how much we loved Villa Camilla and would strongly recommend it, except we don’t want it all booked the next time we’d like to stay there!

This property is as unique as can be on Providenciales. A real time capsule. Everyday we were just blown away at the gardens, the beach and the privacy. If you are into getting your own transportation and agenda and you actually find the place available DO NOT HESITATE and book it. Not a luxurious place but it has everything you need and the experience is really unique. A real beach house with your own beach on Grace Bay on Providenciales. No need to say more. We hope we can make it back there. We have found memories of the place. We travelled the whole island and there is just nothing else like this place. A rare find indeed.

We stayed at the Grace Bay Villa Camilla (bottom unit) condo in March. I will list the pros and cons of this property.
Pros- The LOCATION is amazing!!! This home is just a short walk down a path to the beautiful Grace Bay. This condo/villa is right next door to some of the best hotels in Providenciales, walking distance (within 1 mile) to the Beaches resort, and several others right next door.
The Beach is pretty private right in front of the villa, which is really nice.
The AC works great in the bedroom, cools it down nicely at night. The villa is clean. The pool was nice for cooling off after a long day on the beach. The landscaping on the property is IMMACULATE!! The villa is within walking distance to the Thursday nigh fish fry, and right next door to Somewhere restaurant on the beach. The groundskeepers are really nice people. Jade was very helpful. She helped us decide what things to do and which restaurants to not miss.
Cons- I hate to even put this out there, but I feel I need to state the few things we weren't fond of. The main thing being, there is no umbrella at the beach. This was a very BIG deal for us as my husband is very pale and he sits under an umbrella on all of our vacations, even I like to lay under an umbrella occasionally after hours in the sun. The second thing was the chairs are locked up behind some sea grass and it was a bit of a hassle to get them out and put them up while alone (no umbrella, so husband did not use the beach out front of house). I would like to point out there is only AC in the bedroom, which wasn't a big deal for us in March, the breeze was comfortable during the day, I don't know how that would be in June. Also, there is a cap on the electrical use. I don't know what it is, but we weren't told of that until arrival with Jade, we used ac at night, didn't go over. Lastly, the alarm was a tiny bit of a nuisance on our first night as it went off at 1am and scared us to death. The owner was there on the property and he and my husband went outside and there was no one there, suggested blue heron triggered it. There is a lot of security on the property.
I would recommend this property if you don't mind sitting on the beach without an umbrella. For us, that mattered immensely. We spent most of our days at Taylor Beach which is very beautiful. You rent chairs and umbrellas there and they have food and a bar on the beach. I would highly recommend you rent a car to get around.

Jade met us right away and explained everything about the property. She was an easy text away if we needed anything. The property was as described. A short walk to the beach and some great snokeling if you enjoy that activity, Tons of fish, hawksbill turtles and the occasional spotted eagle ray. The pool was secluded and was great for cooling off. The house offers what you need, whether staying there or going out. Close to the park for fish fry on Thursdays, or walk to other nearby restaurants. This was our third trip to the island, but first at this property. Thanks for the nice time!

Everyone knows that Turks and Caicos is situated on beautiful water and has beautiful beaches. Villa Camilla property is situated less than 150 yards from a beautiful sandy beach. The foliage around the grounds is well maintained and provides privacy. You don't need a rental car if you are enjoy walking. Villa Camilla is located within a 30 minute walk to many desirable restaurants and the grocery store is less than 2 miles. The property and fixtures are dated. Before you rent make certain you understand the amenities available and your desire for luxury accommodations. I don't consider this a luxury property but you are paying less than what the local resorts charge. The attraction of this property is its proximity to restaurants and the beach.

The Villa is in a great location. Short path to the beach and we could see the water from our deck. We were a few minutes from Grace Bay and could go and eat at several restaurants that were pretty amazing. The grocery store was close which was a plus. The care taker on the property was wonderful and Jade, our contact, was terrific. She made recommendations of activities and helped us do what we needed to do to be ready. I Highly recommend the Thursday night fish fry, great food and entertainment and walking distance from the Villa. I was concerned about The Villa being in a safe location and it absolutely was. There is an alarm system for added security and we had zero issues with that. Another suggestion for future renters, Get your rental car from Grace Bay Car Rentals, NOT Economy. My one regret.... Forgetting bug spray.... We took the Ferry to North and Middle Caicos and the mosquitos were CRAZY!!!! There was much more to do but we headed back a little early due to those pests. To the folks at Villa Camillas, Thank you for a wonder Vacation!!!!

Never wanted to leave! Property was as advertised. Beautiful lush surroundings and private setting.
We loved our stay at Villa Camilla and never wanted to leave! We enjoyed our own private little pool and grill. We also walked to the beach many times. It's in a very convenient location. Close to everything yet very private. Jade was very accommodating and informative. The villa had everything we needed. We often cooked at home. The over sized shower was fantastic. My only first world complaint would be that we would've preferred central A/C. Even though there's a window unit that works fine, we preferred it off as the overhead fans sufficed. But it truly was like our own little paradise. We hope to return soon.

Fantastic home base
We stayed 7 nights in early December. This is a lovely property just off the beach. The staff who maintains it are lovely and very helpful. They helped us out of a pickle when our flights were cancelled with zero drama and a great deal of compassion. They even cleaned the home again on the last day when my husband was stranded an extra night. They also attended to every little thing we asked for during our stay, including a brand new fan when we mentioned the older one was loud. There is window unit air conditioning in the bedroom that keeps the bedroom quite cool, but it’s quite loud to those who are more accustomed to central air. It has everything we needed except one tiny recommendation: cups with covers. That would’ve been very nice to have for taking a drink to the beach. Everything else was great, coffee maker, little cooler, hair dryer (don’t bother, too humid!) beach towels, toiletries... I found the bed very comfortable and the linens and towels very nice quality. We had very little trouble with the alarm mentioned in other reviews. It did give off a false silent alarm one night that sent a security officer to check on us, but it didn’t blare or wake us up. I honestly felt even safer after that knowing we were closely monitored.
The landscaping on the grounds is really beautiful. The caretakers left fresh flowers for us in conch shells.
The location is great! We walked to fish fry. It about 30 yards to Bight Reef which has a very respectable amount of lovely fish to see for such a highly visited reef. I felt very safe in the area. The people here seemed very nice all around.

Affordable place with great location!
This had the perfect location! Right next to some of the best hotels on the Island. Beach accessible and great views. Very safe with lots of security. Could use some upgrades however the price was perfect. Thanks for a great first trip to Turks and we will be back!

Could be perfect if not for 3 major things
The property is beautiful! The guesthouse in person isn't as nice & vibrant as in the photos but it's pretty close to it. The pros would be the property itself, the proximity to the beach as well as some restaurants, hotels & the Thursday fish fry. The cons would be the alarm, the low water pressure in the shower and the poor WiFi service. The last two cons are perhaps me being nitpicky but the alarm was a real issue. Alarms on the property went off a total of 6 times during our stay. Once it was my fault bc I ran upstairs to see the sunset and accidentally triggered the alarm but the others were for a reason that couldn't be explained. Our last night there our alarm sounded 3 times btwn 11pm and 2am. The last time I was sitting on the couch unable to sleep and saw that nothing was even on our patio triggering the alarm. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather be safe than sorry so the property having an alarm is appreciated but if it doesn't work right I don't see the benefit. If anything it becomes like "the boy who cried wolf" for everyone involved. The property management and staff were so nice, friendly and helpful that I hate having anything to complain about but honestly the alarm is the one thing that would keep me from booking again. I hope they're able to fix it. If so, I'd be glad to return with my family and book even more rooms. In addition, some sturdy umbrellas for the beach would be great for guests. The beach chairs they provide are perfect but the umbrella was too weak and flimsy for the Turks wind and the sun is way too strong to be out all day without shade.

Beautiful Property
This place is perfect AND affordable!
Secluded, private, beautifully landscaped. Steps from Bight and Grace Bay Beach. Loved having our own private pool and patio. Nicely equipped kitchen.
Cool, fun place for drinks and good food right next door (Somewhere Bar). Conveniently located to the IGA Graceway Supermarket. Close to several other restaurants on Lower Bight Road.
The property management and onsite caretaker are all extremely nice. Highly recommend this place in Provo!

AMAZING FAMILY VACATION
This propert borders the national park on Grace bay. The beach was empty. You could see fish, turtles and rays right off the beach. The owner and property manager were just amazing people. Everyone was super nice and the place was perfect for our family of 3. The plunge poool was a plus and we never needed to use the air conditioner. We parasailed right off the beach. The property is beautiful and well kept. I highly recommend this property as it's super private and a diamond in the ruff.
