New Lakefront Upper Saranac Lake Home, Winter or Summer, Sleeps Up To 20!
Dieses wunderschöne und hochmoderne 6.600 Quadratmeter große Haus befindet sich am südlichsten Punkt des Upper Saranac Lake auf einem 5 Hektar großen Grundstück in einer geschützten, aber großen Bucht, 20 Minuten vom Lake Placid entfernt. Es ist sowohl für den Sommer als auch für den Winter wunderbar (siehe unser Video in dieser Anzeige!). Das Haus bietet Platz für bis zu 20 Personen, hat einen großen und schönen großen Raum mit Küche. Wir haben kürzlich einen Außenwhirlpool für bis zu 7 Personen in der Nähe unserer Feuerstelle für den ganzjährigen Gebrauch hinzugefügt. Camp Eastwood is incredible. Great location, spacious layout, great views of the changing seasons, easy access to the lake and the mountains. Would recommend for any larger group looking for a relaxing time in a perfect house with a huge kitchen with a big gas range for cooking, multiple big screen TVs and a great fire pit to gather around at the end of the day. We will definitely rent here again.

We loved our stay at Camp Eastwood...the weather did not cooperate, but the space was perfect for a big group stuck inside. We had one small issue with the hot tub and the property manager, Eric, was there to fix it as soon as I hung up the phone! Cannot recommend this property enough- we will definitely be back!

The home and property exceeded expectations. Immaculate, spacious, and every amenity you could think of. We played poker on the screened in porch for hours, yard was big enough to toss the football around, set up cornhole boards, and have the fire going. Can not thank Dan and Nancy enough. Would love to make this an annual trip.

This is an amazing house/property with a very thoughtful and attentive owner/caretaker. We cannot recommend it enough!
My large extended family spent a week here in August. The house itself is excellent condition, very well-appointed, and completely clean. The view of the lake is breathtaking and visible from the large deck, porch, and many windows in the house. There are a lot of amenities, including a large and well-designed firepit, kayaks, canoe, dock, and game room. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood so very peaceful, but also near to the three towns in the area. The owner and caretaker were very easy to deal with and responsive to questions and issues we had. A truly remarkable vacation destination, we loved it!

As perfect as the pictures! Nancy and Dan are just a text away and we met Eric, caretaker, who said to call about anything. We didn’t need to. We loved the deck, the kitchen, room for all and the hot tub. Life jackets for everyone. Room to spread out. Super clean, comfy beds, great! Even a high chair for us.

Our family gathered at this amazing property. The home was immaculate, beautifully furnished inside and out. We spent the majority of our time on the property to enjoy fishing off the dock, kayaking, brought our own boat, evening campfires. The stars at night were breathtaking. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We would recommend this rental and it was the perfect location for us to all gather.

We hope to return next year
Superb choice for our three generations, ages 5 - 79, to gather for our annual reunion. Family members from New Mexico, Los Angeles and Westchester County found the perfect blend of privacy and public spaces in this beautiful home with its stunning views. It's been difficult to find a vacation rental in the Adirondacks big enough for our family and one that also has AC. The long trestle table easily accommodated our hungry campers and there were a dozen Adirondack chairs around the fire pit for S'mores at night. The large screened-porch was also a popular gathering area for puzzles, games, reading and sometimes listening to the loons.
Camp Eastwood has a website that was very helpful in figuring out sleeping arrangements, etc.-- eastwoodadk.com. Owner Dan and Manager Nancy were phenomenal communicators and Caretaker Eric quickly and pleasantly responded when we had minor issues. Bottom line: stop searching and rent Camp Eastwood.

What we did:
#all bedrooms were assigned before we got there. could switch later if needed. made for less confusion with everyone arriving at different times.
#Everyone cooked their own meals, as some were vegetarian, some gluten free, some with allergies, many are picky. This worked out very well as everyone could eat when they wanted. 2nd frig in garage was used, as well as small frig in rec room. worked out great, except sometimes a little tight in the kitchen...but was ok overall. use cooler s for cold drinks to save frig space.
#Tupper Lake is so close for forgotten items, booz, ice cream, booz,food. Check time stores close as they often do close early. Saranac Lake has more stores, just a little farther.
#We rented the pontoon boat for 3 days...we all had fun , some fished, the baby cried..not a fan of the life jacket..lol thats why he only went out once.
#fire pit was used almost every night..so much fun, wood can be bought almost every place. make sure you have marshmallows...there are awsome metal sticks in the garage to use...and we did. yummy!!!
#the dock is so nice.. some took the small boats out on this awesome lake. to cold for the beach though.
#we used the screened in porch at night to play texas holdem...yes ,for money , of course. ...what fun.
#We hiked, there are tons of trails of all difficulties. most are close to camp.
#there is tons of stuff to use, most are in the garage...just poke around and you just might find what you are looking for.
#We played pool, some used the hot tub, some used the weight room...but hardly ever did anyone use the tv...wonder why??? cause we were to busy with other fun things.
#we drank a fair amount of booz, laughed a ton, took tons of pictures, sat on the deck almost every day, cause God gave us good weather...thanks again God.
#this was our 3rd family gathering in a great big house. last time was 2016. our family is still growing, so we have a gigger house. ..and it was great. some of the grandkids are getting older and life wouldn't allow them to come..my advice to family's is to take the ones you can and catch the others another time...why..cause you will still have the time of your life with family that's there and remember"Time waits for no one"...

Perfect for a family gathering!
It’s hard to beat the descriptions, pictures and other reviews. It was a wonderful spot in a wonderful geographic location. The home feels like a home- is well stocked, very clean and the additional rental of the boat just icing on the cake.
Our group, family of 11 including grandchildren, children and grandparents had plenty of space and so much to do.
With all the superlatives about the property, it would be remiss not to give kudos to the communication and information provided by the owners Dan/Nancy. Enjoy the wonderful lake vacation in the Adirondacks at camp Eastwood. You won’t be sorry

Beautiful Location
The house was and grounds were beautiful!! My daughter decided to get married with Immediate family and the deck was perfect for their ceremony. We enjoyed the Pontoon boat and were lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are extremely comfortable. Enough room to accommodate our group of 15 adults and 2 children.

Our stay was fantastic! This house is spacious, very comfortable and seats on a beautiful land. It’s warm. We were able to prepare our meals there. There’s 35 minutes drive to all restaurants in lake Placid, and the roads are just like postcards! So beautiful. It takes 50 minutes to get to whiteface mountain but again, you can stop in Lake Placid on your way back to eat.
House itself has a very nice vibe. Kids enjoyed animals dens decorations, fireplace and lots of space. Grownups enjoyed hot tub after skiing, kitchen and massive table that was able to seat all of our 13 crew for meals! I can only imagine how much fun this place is in summer when you can have all the lake fun.
The communication with the owner is just a pleasure, helpful and very informative. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants quite nights and peaceful surroundings. We are already planning next stay there :)

Ultimate Relaxation
Another great end of the season retreat at Camp Eastwood! Dan was able to quickly accommodate our request to stay an extra day when we just weren't ready to leave yet. The hot tub, pool table, foosball table, and entertainment area provided a lot of fun for all involved. Will be back again!

We went in October and hit the beautiful Autumn foliage at its peak time. House was spectacular. Great Kitchen, great views and close to great hiking trails. Everything was clean and as advertised. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything about our stay and dealings with the owner was superb. The home is exceptionally appointed. The furniture is top shelf and in excellent shape. The kitchen is well stocked with anything and everything you will need. The family room has a pool table and fooseball, just outside is a huge hot tub and the fire pit is a great place for the the family to spend the end of the evening together while listening to the Loons.
Breakfast on the deck, overlooking the lake, is a fantastic way to start your day and there is so much to do in the area. The Olympic Village of Lake Placid is about 40 minutes away with ice skating, shopping, Whiteface Mountain Gondola Ride, Bobsled and Luge Runs, Ski Jump Park. There is also plenty of hiking in the area. If you want to stay more around the house, renting the pontoon boat from the owner and cruising absolutely stunning Saranac Lake is so relaxing and stunningly gorgeous.
Speaking of the pontoon boat, this is an example of how much the owner cares about your stay. There were some mechanical issues with the boat. The owner went way out of his way for a solution by having one of his neighbors allow us the use of his pontoon boat. That is a creative solution to what could have been a huge disappointment. That is the service you can expect from this owner.

There were 14 of us ranging in age from 8 to 87. Plenty of room to be together or have your own quiet space when needed. The attention to the Adirondack feel and theming in the bedrooms and bathrooms was wonderful.
We used the pontoon boat all but one day - going for scenic rides and fishing. We caught 71 fish on our last day in just two hours! Our grandson, niece and nephew had nice kayak rides on the beautiful lake. We had blueberry pancakes with blueberries picked from the meadow down the road. .
The lower level game room was our meeting place just about every evening - pool, Foosball, bingo and board games - again plenty of room for 14 of us.
The 2 1/2 refrigerators came in handy (we brought way to much). Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes. pans, etc. and spices galore! The large dining room table fit all 14 of us. It was nice to have an upstairs and downstairs washer and dryer - especially for the amount of people we had.
Morning coffee, afternoon/evening cocktails were either on the deck looking out into the beautiful lake or in the screened in porch.(perfect for the couple of mornings that it was raining) We used the fireplace to warm up the house in the morning or just for "ambiance".
You will not be disappointed when renting Camp Eastwood.

Within an hour upon arrival my blood pressure was lowered by 20%due to its location and solitude. Kayaking every morning at 6:30 around Corey Island with loons being my only company. 11 adults and 7 children never felt cramped in the spacious house. 3 of my great nieces and nephews were content to fish all day off the dock where they probably caught the same fish 10 times. Stocking the lake near the shoreline with fish would be a great amenity. The pontoon boat was definitely appreciated by all. The camp fires at night was a great hit to recap the days events. Will definitely visit again in the future in the fall or winter

This property was beautiful and spacious for our party of 8. We could even have traveled with another family and still had plenty of space. Highly recommend this property if traveling in the area and we will be back in the future! The Pontoon boat was an amazing treat as well!

We had so much fun in Lake Placid and the house was wonderful. The downstairs was perfect for the kids, plenty of room for them to hang out. We loved the decor of the house, the hot tub, the location - everything was just perfect!

Winter Wonderland
Camp Eastwood is an amazing property. Dan and Nancy were so wonderful with any questions. They were easy to contact and very responsive. Camp Eastwood was a perfect place to come back to after a day of skiing. The houses is set up for a large group. The house is well thought out. From having two laundry rooms to an amazing kitchen to a workout room. Plenty of places to hideaway if you choose or there is plenty of room for dinner and games! We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room/family room. We ran a pool tournament with all the adults and kids. It was a lot of fun. The view of the lake is breathtaking. It is truly a winter wonderland. We will be back. Thank you Dan and Nancy for sharing your home!

Exceptional!
We spent one week in December at Camp Eastwood - friends and family, total of 19 people including children. Plenty of room for our large group. The property is very clean and well maintained with cabin accents throughout. Winter breathtaking scenery and views were amazing. We enjoyed games in play room, hot tub and steam room in evenings. Plenty of activities in the area - skiing, tubing, cross-country skiing and even sleigh ride. Children had blast in sledding on small slope behind the house. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Camp Eastwood. The location is exceptional and the property is outstanding. The house is very spacious and well appointed with all the amenities we needed to spend four relaxing nights there (we barely left the house). We had a wonderful time at Camp Eastwood. The location is exceptional and the property is outstanding. The house is very spacious and well appointed with all the amenities we needed to spend four relaxing nights there (we barely left the house). We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

A must stay!!!
We had the most amazing time at Camp Eastwood! The location was perfect! The house was immaculate and Dan was incredibly accommodating. If you’re looking for a place to relax away from home this is the place! From the hot tub, to the pool table, to the foosball table, to the entertainment system there is something for everyone to enjoy! We loved it so much we stayed an extra day!! We will be back! Thanks for the memories Camp Eastwood!!

Saranac Lake Jewel
Couldn't be happier. Lakefront is ideal and property highly functional and rustic. Plenty of space for family. Big deck is the focal point. Owner very responsive to questions and cottage was ready when we arrived.
