We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, clean cottage located within walking distance to downtown Frankfurt. The property managers were prompt to respond to our inquiries and very helpful. We would stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for couples. Great stay! 5+ stars!

This cottage is an absolute gem. It was extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable for our quick trip to MI. The patio was lovely and relaxing. It’s obvious a lot of thought and care went into this property. It’s proximity to downtown and all the events of the weekend was superb. We walked every where, we never had to get in our car. Jon was super responsive to our questions. We will most definitely book again.

This was our second year staying at the cottage. It is clean and adorable with everything we needed to be comfortable. We would have enjoyed a bit more privacy but I'm not sure that's possible while also being so close to town and also sharing the grounds with the main house. Overall a great place if you want to be in Frankfort.

The cottage was beautiful and in a quite location yet right outside the city strip where we could get food, drinks, souvenirs and beautiful views of the water! It was perfect! We loved riding the bikes on the trails, down to the beach or just to have dinner at the local establishments. Absolutely amazing and would recommend to any and all!

We found the property exceeded our expectations. The property was clean, orderly with sufficient amenities. WiFi signal was strong and consistent. Location was as we had hoped, was within close proximity of the town's retail and city beach. Bill and Jon were excellent and cordial hosts.

We arrived later at night due to traffic, and had a small difficulty in finding the property at night. HOWEVER, property owners were super responsive and helped us quickly in spite of the late arrive. A wonderful and relaxing holiday and thank you.

This cottage was very neat and clean and cozy! Loved the location—easy access to all our favorite places!!

We have picky eaters so the first thing we needed was a kitchen to make food and this place had everything taken care of! We even found a few new dishware that we have to buy for our house! The space was perfect and both boys slept on the futon comfortably. We could not have asked for a better place!

We had an excellent time and the cottage was quite above our expectations! The full kitchen made it possible to prepare about anything. Great location. I especially enjoyed sitting in the garden and being surrounded by many different birds.

A quick walk or bike ride brings you to a very large beautiful beach that is not crowded. I felt very safe to keep social distancing and the sunsets were magnificent.

Frankfort is welcoming and beautiful, simple and a bit out of the way, but it has everything you need. The cottage is tiny but very comfortable and has everything you could want for cooking and a comfortable stay. It is meticulously maintained. A quick walk through an alley turned into a quiet street leaves you on the beach in 5 minutes. Truly, a wonderful place to stay!

Great location! Although space is limited, it is very cute and cozy. We were comfortable and found it very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future.

We very much enjoyed staying in this sweet cottage. Yes, it was very hot when we got in, but turning on the air conditioner and fans cooled the place down in about 6 hours. Thereafter, we left the air conditioner on (on econ setting) and a fan on when we left for the day and it was fine when we got home at night. We very much appreciated the kitchen, it had everything we needed except a garlic press, and one can chop garlic without a press. The photos of the place don't quite do it justice. Although it's small, the rooms feel like they've just been painted and it has a great deal of charm. The futon isn't particularly comfortable, but it was fine. And Jon was very responsive to questions or issues. Whatever they couldn't take care of from their end, they found someone in town to help us out ASAP. It was a lovely stay in Frankfort and we'd definitely come back to this cottage.

We loved staying in Frankfort and the closeness of the cottage to downtown shops and restaurant was so nice. It was also very nice to be able to walk to the beach as well. This listing is pretty accurate. However, it was VERY humid and hot this past week. Unfortunately, the window a/c unit does not cool the house down AT ALL. We tried running it the first evening for probably 4-5 hours and it was still just as hot as when we arrived inside. We ran window fans and several big fans (provided from the basement) to keep it bearable for the duration of our stay. Also, the wifi signal was very weak and constantly dropped.. just something to note for future renters. My biggest issue with the house would have been, because of some rain, we did stay inside a couple mornings and the furniture is just not comfortable for lounging. I would suggest that a new a/c system and a comfortable couch would make a world of difference for this cottage.

We were absolutely pleased with our stay. There was a little bit of a privacy issue with the bathroom window being so close to the neighbor’s driveway. But we would stay there again In a heartbeat.!

Nice cottage, private location with parking close to town and beach.

The cottage is a short 5 blocks away from Frankfort beach and about two and a half blocks from all of the main downtown shopping areas. Weird noise she was getting into the cottage and setting up for our vacation. Though this is a very small cottage, it works out fine because there's no reason to sit inside all day. My son and I walked to get donuts most mornings and it only took about 10 minutes. It is especially nice to be within walking distance of downtown because it is very busy and there is not much parking. We had one issue with the Wi-Fi being very slow and one quick text and it was fixed. Overall we had a great trip and had a lot of fun in a wonderful town.

We wanted to sleep in , but couldn't. The house next door is being renovated. The crew was VERY LOUD every morning at 7 am.

My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here. So clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do in town. I would recommend this cottage highly. Owners are as sweet as can be.
