The location is great. The house needs to be cleaned top to bottom. Cobwebs under the barstools and light over the table. Window shades are disgusting you can write your name on them. We think you need a new cleaning crew. The upper deck is crying for your attention needs repairs and cleaned maybe some new patio furniture.(someone is going to get hurt)

House was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 9 people. It was very close to the ocean and had a very nice pool right next door. It was just a short drive to many restaurants. I had read a review before that mentioned the house didn’t have a lot of outlets so they suggested to bring a power strip and I definitely appreciated the suggestion.
My only complaint was the temperature of the house. The air conditioner was never able to get the house cooled down. The upstairs in the bedrooms where also warm. A few fans where provided which was a blessing but also signaled they knew the ac was insufficient for the residence.
The house appeared very clean and well stocked if you desired to cook. We did not cook or use any dishes. I would rent this location again!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! When we walked in we were stunned at how much bigger and more open it feels that’s you can tell from the pictures. The home was very clean but there were a few flaws that were annoying but not annoying enough to contact the management company and waste an entire day waiting on maintenance to come fix it. All the toilet paper holders fell off the wall the first time they were used, the master bathroom shower handle fell off as well, and most of the easily accessible wall plugs are so worn out that anything plugged in falls right back out. These were all minor annoyances but i feel as if housekeeping should have alerted the management company instead of us having to deal with the annoyances that were obviously staged so they wouldn’t be noticed right off the bat. The house was the perfect size for our family of 10 and the location was safe, quiet, and convenient. Overall it was a really good family vacation.

Location was perfect, just a short walk down to the beach with the neighbourhood pool right next door. Nice house, nice furniture and colors around the house. Information on how to work everything was easy and accessible. BUT, everything in the house ,except from the bathrooms and beds, was extremely dirty. Our feet were black from dirt underneath after 5 min. of walking around the house. The carpets upstairs were filthy. There was an old press on nail on the floor upstairs along with what looked like pasta sauce. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty both inside and outside. Utensils and plates looked like they were thrown into the cabinets. No matching plates cups and utensils. Pots and pans were old, bulky scraped and poorly cleaned. The inside of the refrigerator had several old food stains. Batteries were missing from several of the remote controls. Worn electrical outlets, most plugs would just fall out. The doors at the main entrance had a code lock, but was in such bad shape it could probably be easily broken into if you just pulled hard enough. The BBQ works but was dirty and beyond time for replacement. The handle to turn the shower on and off in the master bedroom was about to fall off. Every surface of the house looked dirty. If this is how beach blue properties keep up all of their properties I would not stay with them again.

We love, love, love this property! It's in such a beautiful, luxurious part of Destin. The neighborhood was stunning. We loved being next to the pool, hot tub, and tennis court which we used everyday. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. The beach and water were gorgeous! The house was large, updated, comfortable, and well equipped. I can't say enough good things about our stay! It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely rent here again.

The house has an awesome location for walking to the beach with little ones. House was really nice, bathrooms are a little dated but nothing bad and not being able to turn the air down lower could be a problem in the main summer months but it was fine for April. Only complaint was the lack of essential items like dishwasher detergent, kleenex and we had no extra trash bags, but other than that we would stay again!

Excellent location. Pretty property and neighborhood. We were a party of 4 and found the floor plan spacious. Bed in primary bedroom was comfortable. I wouldn't suggest more than 6 guests given that there are only 2 showers. Main floor finishes looked up-to date and pleasing to the eye. Upstairs bathrooms
need up-dating. 2.5 rolls of TP not enough for 4 people for 4 days, especially because of the poor quality of the paper. Also, if running the dishwasher before departure is asked of guests, a minimum of 2 DW pods would be nice.
We would stay again at this property. I'ts pretty, convenient to the beach, restaurants and nearby grocery stores and shopping.

Comfortable house floor plan but nothing to buffer sound so it is noisy if you are working from home. Nice furnishings. Great for a week’s vacation!

While the house is decent is does not live up to the photos, description or condition of the house described. It needs some serious TLC. The top deck- scary for children, nails and splinters galore. The master bath shower door is broken and some of the cabinetry. The sink doesn't drain in the kitchen. The house comes with NOTHING- be prepared to spend $$$ for basic house hold items like toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, salt and pepper etc. The pool next door is pretty but absolutely freezing. It was conveniently located, truly a 5 min walk to the beach.

The house was large and very nice. The location was fantastic. Some things could be a little updated, but overall it was nice. We had issues with bugs getting into the one upstairs bedroom with the bunks at night when the pool lights would go on. The windows were shut, but they somehow came in large numbers that were everywhere (beds, floor, walls, ceiling, suitcases, etc)and we were unable to use that room most of the week. The maintenance man came and sprayed, but that helped for only one day. They would be gone in the morning. We left the room light off, kept the door shut with a towel under it for the week, but they would still come in every evening somehow. Other than that, we loved the house. I would recommend this house if the bug situation could be fixed.

Location was great - next to community pool and a very short walk to the beach (5-7 minutes). Nearly new appliances & nice furnishings. Roomy for 2 families of 4. A few cons - air conditioning can only go to 70 degrees which is fine for May & June but guessing that during prime summer months the upstairs gets warm. One of the bunk bed ladders was broken making it difficult to get on & off top bunk. Showers haven’t been updated and are temperamental.

Vista Bluff by the Pool
Overall this house was great. The only complaints were the noise of teenagers nightly by hot tub and a party late into the evening. You could hear them because house was next to pool. Another complaint is that on the bottom bunk beds , there were very thin mattresses . Bed was uncomfortable for the price you pay, you expect more. It also would have been nice to have a couple kitchen towels instead of just one. Other than that, it was a perfect house in a great neighborhood near the beach.

A Surprise Gem
It’s rare to find a vacation property that is better in person than in the online listing, which is the exact case here. We were so pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, rooms, and nearby amenities. This was a true hidden gem. We stayed here for 7 weeks in the off season, in which time it is very quiet. It is a place you can really “live” for the winter months and feel very comfortable. We will be back next year!
The only thing to be mindful of is that the internet could use a little upgrading, but it works well for streaming and work.

My honest review
The house itself is spacious and has potential. It actually is bigger then the pictures show. It’s right next to the pool but you still have to walk all the way around the block to enter the pool. The house is in need of some TLC. Paint touch ups, the floor is separating, bathrooms need to be re-finished. All of that I could deal with but as previous reviews state it’s not clean. It needs some MAJOR deep cleaning not just surface level. the cabinets need to be cleaned and disinfected. They are white and you can see filth all over them. The light fixtures and corners have cobwebs and the shutters have a layer of thick dust. There was still sand on the floor when we arrived. The bathtub had hair in it from previous guests, as well as the doors in both bathrooms. For what you pay, I feel like it should be cleaned at a way higher standard. We did call housekeeping and they sent someone back but I am not sure they did anything more? None of the above things I mentioned were improved. So we cleaned it ourselves and bought our own Lysol wipes to clean off the counter surfaces at least. We had a great trip, because of course it’s Destin and the way to the beach is super convenient. I just hope, after seeing I am not the only one who has left a review like this, that steps are taken to ensure cleanliness going forward.

My wife and I picked this property in February for our June Vacation with our 3 kids and 3 of their friends. My wife passed unexpectedly in April but we decided to go anyway. Although an emotional time, it was a great place to get away. I'd stay there again. Great private neighborhood and convenient to pool and beach.
