The house was in a good location-short walk to the beach and close to the nearby market. TVs in the master bedroom and twin bedroom did not work-we didn’t ask staff for assistance because it was low on the priority list amd there were other tvs for people who wanted them.

The house was clean, and in a good location. The pictures are wrong though, we were counting on 2 bedrooms with twin beds (as shown in the pics) but only had 1, the rest with queen or king. We specifically chose this house for the bedroom layout for the 4 kids, but ended up having to sleep an adult on the couch to make it work. Very disappointed! Also, the oven makes the house smell like gas everytime it’s in use, so there must be a leak somewhere. The grill needs to be replaced, it barley worked. There’s not enough seating for the number of people it can sleep, either. Overall ok, not great. I would only stay here again if I needed the 4th bedroom, as there are better Sparrow Pond cottages.

Overall we were pleased with our rental. However not pleased with ESPM. Upon checking into our cottage - 1 BR doorknob fell off when touched. This prompted me to check the rest of the property. Only other flaw was gas grill would not ignite + no matches/lighter stick provided. Contacted the phone # - which was answered on a Sun. afternoon. Fellow stated someone would come by between 10-Noon the next day. Non one came the entire week.

Lovely Kiawah 4 bedroom with great close beach location, great layout, delightful two porches, do recommended new mattresses for the twin beds, very soft. TVS in every room practically, and the one outside on the covered porch came in wonderfully handy with a small child who could watch Disney. Nice overall

After vacationing 30 years at Kiawah we found this property to be nice. We had 8 people so seating was tight, but ok. The property was clean and when I requested a broom to keep up with light cleaning it was dropped off for me to use. Will be back! Thanks

Generally, the property and management company made everything easy for a wonderful stay. The house was as described and fit 7 people nicely. Kitchen was well equipped. Towards the end of our week, I did email the management company with a few things that needed some attention at the rental property, but unfortunately did not get a reply so I cannot comment if they were addressed or not.

Great location, great layout, could be a bit cleaner
We overall had a pleasant week in this unit. Below are some comments which I hope you might find helpful. First, some pros:
1. The unit is unique in that it has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. This was particularly nice for our family of now 4 adult couples.
2. The unit was well-equipped with kitchen amenities and adequately equipped with bedding items.
3. We were able to gain access into the unit well before the check-in time of 4:00 pm, which is a great plus for vacationers with a carload of cold groceries!
Now for the cons:
1. The listed address of ”1021 Sparrow Pond” is inaccurate and misleading. It is not an address acknowledge by any GPS system.
2. Reviews of this unit on the internet claimed that it was “dirty”. We found the level of cleanliness to be fair, but I am attaching pictures of items as an example of people’s postings on the internet. The first is a literal pile of sand beneath a rug that has to be pulled back to enter the master bedroom. The second is a picture of the mold and mildew in the shower curtain in the master bath. Mold was also very obvious in the second shower as well.

We were in Kiawah for a wedding and couldn't have been happier with the stay.. The condo was in great shape, well decorated with a wrap around deck.. It felt much larger than it was.. The island itself was stunning and our condo was very close to great beach entrances and a pool and tennis club(one of many on the island). We look forward to visiting again and would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place and ESPM to anyone.

Excellent weekend. 4 of us, unit was perfect size, nicely updated, great layout, very clean. Walk to beach was not far. Ended up leaving prescriptions in bathroom drawer. But Hillary from ESPM was excellent and overnighted them out to us. She was great to deal with thru the entire process.Will definitely use ESPM again on our next trip to Kiawah - which hopefully will be soon! Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this property and the rental agency. The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos and very clean. It is very close to two different beach access areas and the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The rental agency was amazing and very organized. Spent several nights for a girls weekend. Enjoyed our stay at this location. Nice quiet neighborhood with good accommodations. We rented bikes and never got in the car as everything you need is on this Island and biking is so easy with all the paths. Cottage was nice and the Island is beautiful. The space was adequate but not as large as I expected. The kitchen was small - not big enough for multiple people to be cooking together. The pots and utensils need to be replaced. They are well used and although a rental still need to be usable. We made the best of it.
The towels provided were literally one per person (wash cloth, hand towel and bath) with a few bath under the sink. Thank goodness for the washer.
Listing said coffee pot not keurig but it has BOTH. And although listing says beach towels provided there are NO beach towels.
What I did like is that the bedrooms are in the 4 corners of the house but with doors open everyone was still together.
The house was cleanish. Everyone has a different standard. The owner should consider more than just a broom - maybe a swifter wet or hand vac for light cleanup for the renters.
Walk to the beach less than 5 minutes. Very private. We did sit by the pool once to enjoy the sun without the wind.
The cougar golf course is literally a 4 minute walk away. All the courses were great.

Loved the location and the short walk to the beach, and appreciated the use of the pool for our grandsons. The unit was clean and had a good layout. It was cozier and smaller than I had hoped for, especially the kitchen. The garage and outside area was ideal in storing stuff out of sight from the road. Rearranging the 2 vehicles was a tad cumbersome. Was a bit disappointed in the singular tub since we used it as the master bedroom bathroom AND the grandkids bathing area. The kitchen was nicely set up and easy to use and store things. The wraparound deck was great for our grandsons. The decor was delightful, but the number of pillows was too abundant. It was delightfully airy and attractive. We had a delightful stay. Was disappointed in the lack of drawers and places to store things out of sight, but loved the abundance of televisions!

Overall, this was a lovely, clean & well maintained cottage tucked back amongst the trees which provided cool shade.Really enjoyed the screened porch. Would recommend the following to the new homeowners; more towels and large dinner plates & additional wine glasses would be nice. We were a party of 4 & there are 4 bedrooms so obviously meant for larger group but we had 5 large dinner plates & 8 large towels for a week stay. A welcome book with directions to secluded pool would be very nice as well for guests. ESPM provided only one key but were quick with response when we contacted them, & property has lock box. We very much enjoyed the beach, dinner at 46 Wine Bar at Freshfields & Bike riding the community.

We had a great stay at 1021 Sparrow Pond. The property was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The 4 bedroom with a common space layout of the property was perfect for a family vacation and not spending all day inside. The large wrap-around porch was ideal for late spring dinners outside. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, neighborhood pool and other island amenities.
Lastly, we can't say enough good things about ESPM. They provided clear communication in advance of arrival, responsive to questions, and even with the chaos of the PGA Championship week, were able to accommodate a last minute request for cleaning mid-stay.

We absolutely loved this house for our family. The location was excellent and we arrived to a very clean home! We loved that the home is light and bright with a great sofa & chairs in the living area and a nice larger TV. It’s a great quiet street!

Beautiful modern design, screened porch perfect for warm October evenings, shower in the carport downstairs. Just a piece of paradise in the middle of mature trees and palm.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at this property. The renovations are very well done. Furnishings and decor are stylish and simplistic. As a parent of a toddler, I appreciated that there were not a lot of breakable knick knacks or sharp edged furniture, etc. It didn’t take much to childproof. The closet built-ins and lack of bulky dressers in the bedrooms made them feel much more more spacious. The short walk to the beach was perfect and we enjoyed riding bikes around the island. As a whole, the house was clean but we did have to wash the top blanket in the master bedroom after discovering what I believe was coffee stains and hairs on it. Next time I would inspect more closely upon arrival rather than being surprised at bedtime. I know some people pack their own bedding and that may be a better practice. Overall, we truly had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again.

Our vacation to Kiawah Island was one of the most relaxing and stress free trips we have ever had! The house was clean and well equipped for our family. It was a short walk to the beach and there were plenty of bike trails. Kiawah is breathtakingly beautiful! We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage
This was our third time staying at Sparrow Pond Cottages and was by far our favorite property. It has been nicely renovated and was spacious for our family of six. The only downside was the community pool was closed the entirety of our stay.
