Our family had a lot of fun here. Plenty of beds for our large group. Comfortable and close to the beach.

Very nice view and more than enough beds to accommodate a large family. The kitchen was spacious. You can see the beach and feel the breeze.

Overall the house was nice. One light switch was broke so not able to switch the light off and one sink wouldn’t drain properly, but we did have 2 bathrooms. Loved the pirate ship and it was only a short walk to the beach.

Avoid! The ac in this property went out within 12 hours of our check in. That's fine and things happen. It never got fixed through our entire stay. The technician couldn't figure out the problem. Still fine. I asked the property owner for a refund and he agreed that he would do whatever was necessary to make it right. He ended up volunteering us to stay at his empty home next door. We were desperate for cool air as it was 90 degrees in the house so we took him up on the offer but should've known better. He planned the whole thing to avoid a refund. He said we damaged the felt on the pool table in his home that he let us sleep our last night in. Which is ABSURD! IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN HE SHOWED ME AROUND THAT HOUSE!! He even told me that his grandson did it. He told us we were welcome to play it by to ensure no children got on it to avoid any additional damage to what already existed. Two days after check out and still haven't seen a refund or even a partial refund so I reach out to him and ask. That's when he told me we "damaged the felt on his expensive pool table" and wouldn't provide a refund. We only slept in that house because we were so afraid of staying in a house that we didn't rent or protected under but I had elderly family, including my father with alzheimers, sitting in 90 degrees in a house with no ac for over half of our stay. I wanted a cool place for him to sleep but I should've known better. This was calculated. He knew what he was doing and he set us up to be accused for damage that was already present, all in an effort to not provide a refund. We didn't even get into the alternate house until the night before checkout and we used it just for sleeping. So what about the time our family had to sit in that house before moving us to the other home? Our whole trip was wasted. And we're out thousands of dollars to a dishonest host. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOST. PLEASE!!!

Everything about the location was great even the people. But, sadly we weren't able to enjoy the stay due to the central air conditioner went out and was not able to be fixed due to the holiday weekend.

This house is so cute and had lots of room for my big family! The ship bed kept the kids busy while the adults relaxed on the patio. The location is also perfect. We had a great stay!

Property was clean and very accommodating to our large group. Nice outdoor space. We pulled a BBQ trailer onto the property for cooking and there was plenty of space for parking.

We stayed here for a family reunion, we enjoyed the water and the small cute little town. The house was well equipped to handle 30+people. I would suggest if you are coming in the summer time to bring a fan, the bunk room was a little on the warm side. The walk around deck was amazing and the view of the private beach is breathtaking.

We originally booked this house for 30 plus for sweet sixteen with family and friends. Unfortunately the birthday girl tested positive for covid the week before our stay. I did not purchase insurance, shame on me, but fortunately the host were very responsive and more than willing to help with a new date for the reservation. Zuhair immediately messaged me back then called to discuss other arrangements. We ended up with a lot less people but the house definitely had the capacity and sleeping accommodations for our original head count. Everyone loved the beach house and the proximity to the beach for leisure and for fishing. The Littles especially loved the big pirate ship in the living room. The house was clean and had all accommodations that we needed for a wonderful stay despite the wrench that was thrown in our plans. From four year old, teens, to adults we all had a blast and enjoyed the house and beach v very much. I would definitely come back to these hostesses for another stay in the future.

The house was a good fit for my 30+ member family. The only complaint is big bathroom sink has no water pressure and wont drain. Everything else was perfect!

Was good rent. Few things like laundry still in the washer and dryer, trash was never picked up from previous renters. House was great and good location

The house was a good size for all of us, we had about 25 people and everyone was able to sleep and move around the house comfortably. The a/c went out the first night we got there but the host had someone out there quickly to get it fixed, which we really appreciated. As other reviews to mention, the only real issue we had was trying to share 2 bathrooms between our big group. Other than that our stay was great and the house was exactly what we needed. We really enjoyed being walking distance from the beach.

I would definitely like to return to this location with family or another small group.

We Booked this house for our family reunion and we all had a great time. The owner was so nice and took care of any problems that we had with the property.

Ok y'all, normally I give glowing reviews of the properties that we stay at in the Galveston area. Most of the owners posts are accurate of what the property is like. Unfortunately, this property was less than desirable, and somewhere we would never have stayed if it had been accurately portrayed! I'm not even sure where to begin. Whatever you are seeing and reading about this property is NOT true! All of the pictures posted about the house are the original ones from several years ago. Everything at the property is now worn out, dirty, broken, and rusty! Upon arriving at the property there were dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, food all over the counters, and the bathrooms were dirty and had been recently used. We immediately told the owners about it, who sent over there "housekeeper." All she did was wipe off the counters and put the dishes into the dishwasher. She then told us she would be back later to finish and never showed up again. We then went around the property taking pictures and documenting the issues with the beach house so that we could let the owners know. My husband contacted the owner SEVERAL times during our stay about things that were unacceptable and was continuously put off. Here are a few of the issues with the house. 1. During our stay we had to wash all of the kitchen supplies we used BEFORE we could even use them since they were all greasy and dirty. 2. The towels that are offered at the property are extremely old, musty and worn out. 3. The furniture is all stained and ripped and extremely uncomfortable. It's like they bought the furniture at a thrift shop. 4. None of the toilets worked properly and my father had to repair them before we could even use them! 5. The railing outside on the porch was broken and had a hole big enough for a child to fall through. There are so many other things I could list! The worst thing of all though, is how they have a HUGE list of the cleaning requirements they expect of THEIR GUESTS before they leave the property. Basically, they expect you to be the housekeeping crew, even though there's a fee included to cover that. So, to finish up this extremely long post(sorry) if you don't mind staying in a place that's completely run down and where you're expected to be the housekeeping crew, even though you've paid for someone else to do it, this is the place for you! Unfortunately, all you will be offered(by the owner) to make it right, is a chance to stay in another one of the their dumps!

My whole party flaked only 7 people enjoyed the house, but believe me there were plenty of social distancing. I loved the whole experience an me an my family will be back all 7 lollllll...

We couldn't have picked a better place for our family to celebrate our Mother's birthday party. To walk in and see such a vibrant themed living space was the beginning of a wonderfully enjoyed weekend for us all - the Ship bed was the coolest to see as soon as you walk in! The owners Zuhair and Laila were such super friendly pleasant people. That’s always a plus! There was so much space to accommodate everyone of ALL ages. During the day the kids hung out on deck, adults hung downstairs to BBQ and the “tired” were in the comfy living room - SPACIOUS! At night, the opposite, adults enjoyed the top deck, listening to the waves, card games, starry night and the kids played and listened to music downstairs. The kitchen was ideal for big gatherings with so many stools tucked under the nice kitchen islands – Pots, pans and silverware were plentiful but with a large group be sure to bring plasticware – just much easier and less mess. The deep stainless steel kitchen sink was a plus. I can't say enough about how much space there was from the bedrooms to the living space to top deck and HUGE bottom area to enjoy! Cornhole, water gun and balloon war, take a couple of bikes as well - SO glad we did! Nice bike rides along the beach 😊� The view from the house was so refreshing, top and bottom - a short little walk to fish and a little further walk to the beach; we even caught some! The house reads 3 baths but there are only 2 spacious bathrooms and honestly with the big group we had, it was never an issue – no one was left waiting for use. If we had to give ONE suggestion to the owner it would have been, to have a bottom toilet to keep from having to go upstairs but it won’t keep us from booking again. All the family and friends TRULY had a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back 😊� It was a great beach home from the inside to the out and great location, as well! To suggest anything before planning to stay, bring lawn chairs – the house has nice and sturdy wooden picnic tables and patio furniture upstairs but always nice to have your own comfy lawn chairs to move wherever. If you’re arriving early as we did, enjoy lunch at the Seahorse Bar & Grill which is about 5 min away with a beachfront view – good burgers, great staff and the drinks were awesome!

We had a really good time at this property, even though the description was inaccurate (it says 3 bathrooms and there are only 2).

We just had a winter youth church retreat. Kids loved the place with a themed livingroom and the location. Almost everything was provided, kitchen wares, blankets, towels, etc. It was a great stay. If there is a one thing needed to be added was an extra bathroom with shower.

We had our 1st annual family reunion at this location and EVERYONE had a blast. There were enough beds for everyone and very spacious. The walk in shower was a plus for my grandmother and it was relatively close to surfside beach and jetty park which are within walking distance. When we arrived the place was very clean and the deck allowed for children with minimal supervision. Everyone loved the pirate ship. It was amazing and I look forward to rebooking in the future.

There are only 2 bathrooms, not the 3 as advertised. Other that that the property has lots of beds for sleeping. Loved the bunk room for our teens.
