Our fourth time to stay and such an open and relaxing place. Only complaint was coffee pots looked liked they had not been cleaned in a very long time, lots of loose items left under couch cushions and wood cutting board had not been cleaned. Thank you for sharing home with us !

We enjoyed the loveliest of family gatherings in this beautiful, cozy craftsman‘s home! We were there before Christmas, and the house was beautifully decorated with a gorgeous Christmas tree and decorated hearth over the inviting fireplace. The house is beautiful, cozy and ever so comfortable. It is a beautiful floor plan for a family gathering. The kitchen is over the top fabulous as I love cooking. I was in kitchen heaven, Very large kitchen that was perfectly appointed. John was absolutely amazing, everything and anything we needed he was very attentive and on top of everything to make sure we had all of our needs taken care. John was very kind and caring, We will definitely be coming back as it is so charming, comfy and cozy!

Our stay was exceptional. This property is absolutely perfect for our family and we hope to use it again in the future.

We were staying in Ashland for a family event- this house had everything we needed and was comfortable for all. Because smoke from fires in the region kept us indoors a lot, we were glad to have all room that this place offers! The surrounding area is beautiful - loved relaxing on the front porch swing and walking by nearby farms when the air was ok. The enormous tree outside the kitchen window was admired by all of us! We also appreciated how easy it was to get into town. Thank you for a great stay- we’d love to come back!

Our party of seven has stayed here three times and loved it on each occasion. There’s a spacious and well-appointed kitchen and good areas for dining both indoors and out (we cook and eat a lot!). The house is quiet and very comfortable, surrounded by lovely countryside, but it’s only a short drive from downtown Ashland. Can’t wait until next summer to come back!

It was lovely to come back to this home each day after exploring the area. Lovely yard to sit out in and visit with family. John is a great host!

We are a group of long-time friends who get together annually to celebrate our friendship. This home suited us perfectly. Beautiful kitchen stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Spacious, open floor plan with dining table that accommodates 10 and comfortable seating in living room for all . Close to downtown Ashland for entertainment and great restaurants. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely spacious house in countryside setting

What a lovely home and property! It was just perfect for our needs. Conveniently close to town. Sunsets were amazing. Only one little glitch when the power went out our second night there. However we found battery operated candles and a lantern so we were not without light. Loved everything about the place.

We used this house for a 3 day research retreat for 5 colleagues. There was plenty of space for each of us to stay, and the kitchen was excellent to cook in together. There was plenty of room to work together at the big dining room table or sitting on the couches in the living area. There were nice places to take a break and walk around. We especially liked seeing the horses and walking through the plant nursery when it was open. The night sky was also beautiful from the front porch swing. All in all a wonderful place.

Lovely and huge property adjacent to a nursery. The view of the stars at night and the lights of the valley below are gorgeous. Easy communication with landlord. Everything was sparkling. Loved the house flow. Almost like three separate wings for bedrooms. We all had privacy, a bathroom to share, and the soundproofing was fabulous. Ginormous great room and fully equipped kitchen. Garden out back had beautiful hummingbird visitors. Good patio area for hanging out too. Thanks so much. We would stay again!

Outstanding value for several visitors. 4 large bedrooms, 2.5 baths, large airy common areas and outdoor spaces.

This home is large and very comfortable for a group. The kitchen was not as well supplied for cooking as it has been in the past. Overall, this is a great property and location. We have stayed there many years while visiting Ashland, and will choose it again.

Our ONLY complaint is that there were so many drawers in the kitchen that we weren’t sure where things belonged! Seven of us stayed here and very much enjoyed all the room, the courtyard for outdoor dining, and the country atmosphere. It’s close to town for plays and VERY comfortable. Five stars in all categories!

Home was great. Huge kitchen, well stocked. Had an issue that the host responded to quickly. Location was great and an easy 5 min drive to Downtown Ashland and 10 min to our white water rafting adventure. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed 3 nights in this spacious home while in Ashland for a Wedding. It fit our family of 6 perfectly. Every room has beautiful views of the lush landscape. The huge Sequoia in the back yard is a sight to behold!

Nice spacious house with a big yard and great views. Everything was really comfortable and well appointed. The only thing off was the tap water smelled and tasted like chemicals, easily remedied by using bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, etc.

Great place, plenty of space!! Clean and everything is in great condition. Beds are awesome, everyone slept good from the first night. Outside grounds are well maintained and nice for visiting. John responded quickly to any questions we had and provided excellent recommendations to the area. Will be back the next time we have a family gathering.

We all loved the house especially the location and views from it. The living room was super spacious with plenty sating for everyone. The location was very close to downtown and highways yet far enough to avoid any noise from roads. Will definitely recommend anyone visiting Ashland/nearby area.
