Only complaint would be we couldn’t get very good cell phone reception at times. We are with Verizon so maybe that is why?? Otherwise great property!

This property was just as described. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the neighborhood and the ability to be able to hike right into Usery Park. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely book again.

Great Family Summer Vacation
My family had a great time at this property. With 4 little kids, the property was great for them with the grass yard and gated pool. Everything was very well documented and marked to make it easy to understand the instructions and how to use the rental. The pool was great and the house worked very well with 4 bedrooms upstairs.

Snowbird getaway
My husband I rented the Boulder Mountain property for the month of February. Very quiet area, great walking/hiking outdoor activities. Listing is accurate description. Nice to be away from the busy areas of Mesa/Phoenix. Owners very responsive to inquiry and communicating if yard service, etc were expected. We would definitely stay here again!

Winter Get-away
We enjoyed our month long stay in Mesa! The neighborhood was very quiet and having the pool was wonderful!! Jim and Jan were very quick to respond to any questions that we had! The hiking in Usery Park was great - there were all kinds of trails - from easy to hard! We plan on trying to stay there again!

Best VRBO!
What a wonderful place! We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home so much. The heated pool, the close proximity to Usery Pass trails, and the quiet neighborhood were just the ticket for our family. Great house
We stayed here for a couple weeks while on a construction project. The house was perfect for 4 guys and our wives came to visit one weekend. The house has 2 big living rooms so perfect for kids in one and adults in the other. The pool is great and has a cool waterfall feature with a ledge you can jump off of. The backyard is huge and there's a bbq. The owner is very easy to get ahold of and they provide just about everything you could need for a great stay. Overall great place.

Practically perfect vacation rental by owner!
What a wonderful home perfect for our family of parents, newlyweds, and siblings. From the plenty of off-street parking, place to put our shoes, comfortable furniture, big kitchen and pantry with every needed cooking and cleaning tools and supplies, huge washing machine and dryer, bedroom with side tables and lamps on each side (the b/w bdrm picture doesn't show both, but they were there), plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels, big backyard and pool for family fun, we enjoyed every bit of this house. The location is great for a quiet desert stay with beautiful scenery and easy access to many walking areas and trails. Thank you Jim and Jan for sharing your home with our family.

Our first Airbnb
Hi, our first experience with an Airbnb was wonderful. Jan and her husband were amazing to work with and was more then happy to let us show up early to there property due to we had to check out of our hotel by 11:00. There house was very nice and very family friendly. Our 18month old absolutely loved the toys they had available and absolutely loved there pool. We had a small plumbing issue our lastnight there which was a little stressful but Jan and her husband addressed it in a very quick manner and were very apologetic which they did not need to be as no one can predict plumbing issues. We are looking forward to staying at there property again. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was our second year staying at this property. We enjoyed it thoroughly again as did our pup. The owners are very nice and respond quickly to questions. We are disappointed it is not available at our usual time next year.

Fresh oranges from tree in backyard...yum!
Jim and Jan were so easy to work with; any questions we had were answered promptly. We loved the location, quiet neighborhood, close to several grocery stores. The carpet has a few stains, but other than that, the home met all of our needs and expectations. We hope to be able to rent this home again in the future.

Safe, comfortable and fun house for families!
We loved this house so much! It had everything we needed to have a fun vacation with 2 small children (1.5 and 3 yo). The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to entertain plus it has a great bbq and outdoor dining set. Having the pool fenced and heated was perfect for the kids.
Also, the house is equipped with some kid's books and toys (my son loved the cement mixer truck), a pack in play, a highchair and step stools for the bathrooms!
Loved the neighborhood for early morning runs and super markets and drug stores are all within 2-5 miles (Target, Baschas, CVS, Safeway, Walgreens etc..).
The new LG Washer and Dryer were quite nice too.
My son came home from vacation wanting to still be at the "Arizona House" so it was more than just the adults that loved this place. Thank you!

Comfortable, quiet neighborhood, close to hiking
We stayed for a month and found it to be great for our needs. We liked that it was a gated community. The neighborhood is friendly. It was just a couple of blocks walk to a trail which led to trails in Usery Mountain Park which is beautiful in the spring with the blooms. We did find a number of the nicer golf courses to be a longer drive than we liked because the house is in east Mesa. The development was perfect for walking our dog and he met many other "pups" in the neighborhood. Desert Arroyo Park is next door to the development through a gate by the nearby grade school and was another favorite place to walk our dog. A plus was the backyard has grass which our little Havanese loved and was a bit of "home away from home" for him.
Basha's, Albertson's and Safeway are all within 10 minutes of the house. The kitchen had many staples including spices, flour, sugar and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. Cleaning supplies, detergent, and toiletries were all supplied. The only reason we did not give it a 5 star is the downstairs carpeting is stained and soiled and it was difficult to tell if the vacuum cleaner was actually "cleaning" when we used it.
Jim and Jan were very prompt in answering all of our questions and resolving any of our concerns.

Quiet and Comfortable Home Away From Home
We spent ten days at this lovely home while visiting Mesa to celebrate a wedding. It was extremely well organized with all of our needs met. The sheets were soft, towels fluffy, and the beds were cozy. The master bathroom was spacious as well as gorgeous. This home was very tastefully decorated and the furnishings both beautiful and comfortable. We were able to spend a few afternoons on the delightful porch watching the hummingbirds, quail, and dove. The kitchen was very well equipped and organized. This home provided us with the opportunity to rest and unwind from our hectic wedding schedule and spend quality time with family. We are hoping to visit again someday and will plan to take time to explore the walking trails in the area. Thank you so much.

Comfortable, with everything you'll need/want!
Our group stayed here in March 2018 for a week. 4 adults, 3 children and 1 baby. The house is very spacious and comfortable. There was definitely enough space for a group our size. The master walk-in closet made a perfect "bedroom" for the baby. The house had everything we needed, down to a pack-n-play, high chair, basket full of toys for the kids, DVDs, a cheese grater and all the little things you need for cooking. The bathrooms were all stocked with lots of towels and shampoo (Pantene), etc. The bedrooms were private and very sound-proofed, you couldn't hear anything from the other bedrooms. The washer and dryer fit huge loads of laundry! The owners were very quick to respond and very helpful!!! They provided us with all the information in a nice package, and everything in the house is labelled. The thought and organization that they put into this rental process is really appreciated, made it very easy. The house is such a nice neighborhood (gated), with a lovely playground in walking distance. Also near the playground (and just off the school parking lot) is a beautiful walking trail with little "stations" for kids along the way (dig for dinosaurs, telescope, etc). We really enjoyed it! The house isn't very close to many "amenities" like if you wanted to run for a quick coffee. You do have to drive 10+ minutes to get to a grocery store, etc. A new complex has been built, sort of near by (Basha's, which has a Starbucks inside, is already open). But I think you still have to drive to get there. The pool has a sturdy fence around it with a gate to enter, which was important to us with little ones. If I remember correctly, it was about a 30-40 min drive from Sky Harbour airport. We would definitely stay here again!

Great family home in a nice quiet, safe neighborhood.
Two families of four stayed very comfortably here. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. The rooms were large and all the beds very comfortable. There were plenty of basic cooking items and toiletries to use which was greatly appreciated. Just replace as needed. The backyard is very big with plenty of grass for kids to run around and play. We loved that the pool was gated so we didn't have to worry about toddlers running around. Pool was kept at a very comfortable 85 degrees and the kids (and adults) loved it. Home is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. The location is a nice quiet gated community. For families looking for a home to relax and enjoy the weather, this home is great. We would certainly book again and recommend the home to others. Thanks for a great holiday!

Really happy with our holiday
From the moment we walked in, the house felt like home. It was tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable & we loved the heated pool in the back yard. It was a family holiday with both our daughters, their husbands and our 2 granddaughters visiting us. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much & the house was very comfortable. Great experience
We greatly enjoyed our time at this home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and the spacious backyard was a nice surprise. The owners aren't local but that wasn't a problem at all. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. It is fully stocked, however, we ended up buying our own supplies like toilet paper, paper towels and sponges as the ones there were not great. But that is completely understandable for a rental and buying these items in bulk. Our stay was during the summer and our children loved swimming in the pool every day. It had a secure fence surrounding it which made us feel very safe when our little ones were outside and not swimming. The house does not have cable set up but we knew that going in and brought our own device to watch. We visit AZ often and would be happy to stay at this property again. Actually we were hoping to rent again for Thanksgiving but some other lucky family got to it first!

This was a especially perfect for us because of location. We were close to family. Renting this perfectly furnished house versus staying in a hotel was smarter. With kids it's always better to have some meals at home. Beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was a huge hit with the kids. Great stay!!

This house is very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The owners go out of their way to ensure that you don't need to go out and get incidentals that you will just have to leave behind anyway. There is a philosophy that you treat it as you would your own home, and that hopefully ensures that you appreciate all that is there for you during your stay! We like this kind of accommodation while we are traveling! It was so easy!

We should start by saying that this was our first trip to Arizona and our first time renting a home. This home is located in a nice gated community. We felt secure and comfortable. The location worked well to access the greater Phoenix area. All types of amenities were within a two minute drive of the home. The home was clean and comfortable and met (or exceeded) all of our expectations. It contained all the essentials that we needed to enjoy our stay and was extremely well organized with instructions and notes on where to find items and how to use them.
The beds and furniture in this home are very comfortable. Our children absolutely loved the heated pool. The outdoor area was nicely furnished and a great place to barbeque, relax and enjoy the sun!
The owners of this home were very helpful in answering questions and providing information. Their communication with us was exceptional from the moment we inquired about renting the property all the way through to the moment that our damage deposit was returned.
If ever in the Phoenix area again, we would definitely consider renting this home again and we would absolutely recommend it to any other families who are planning a stay in the area.

We just returned from a week long stay at this beautiful and very spacious home! The community is gorgeous and has walking paths throughout. The house was stocked with all essential items we needed for our stay and more! We were extremely impressed with the organization of the home. Each cupboard had a picture on the knob of the items in the cupboard, which made things easy to find. Every switch in the home was labeled with what it turned on or off.
The owners were more than accommodating to our schedule that included very odd flight times. They were also very quick to respond to any questions that we had and even spent time on the phone with us when we had questions about the pool.
Being first time renters on VRBO we were a little hesitant about renting but this home and its owners exceeded all of our expectations and we look forward to renting this property again!
