Diese Immobilie besteht aus einem Haupthaus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 2 1/2 Bädern sowie einem Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad. Beide Häuser können je nach Bedarf einzeln oder zusammen gemietet werden. Das Haus und die Hütte sind individuell festgesetzt. All of us grew up within 5 miles of the cottage, so it was great reminiscing and visiting our local “hangouts”. We had a great week, location was ideal!

This was a very nice house but could have been a little better cleaned. We were here with 4 couples so the beds were doubles so that was a little hard for sleeping. Knew that from the site so wasn't a surprise. The one bedroom connected to the other one with no door so if we weren't all family that could have been interesting. We are all siblings. The 2nd full bathroom being off the kitchen downstairs was interesting. Would suggest bringing mirrors because they are only in bathrooms. Hardly any hooks to hang towels and suits. There isn't a lot of room to put clothes away in some of the bedrooms so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. No closets in most rooms to hang anything. The photo of the house has not been updated so don't plan on walking down to the beach. Actually the steps are dangerous for kids to be around. There is a park with beach very close just would have been nice to be able to walk down the steps to a beach. We loved the view and having fires every night was great. The deck is beautiful. The house would be great for a large family. Neighbors who own their houses on both sides are very friendly. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

My husband and I wanted a vacation rental that would serve the interests of us, our adult children and their spouses. This house checked off all the boxes! From obvious needs like house cleanliness, hot water, filter water and deck space, to beaches, hot tub, restaurants and local activities - it was wonderful. Thank you - we will be staying here again.

We are a retired couple who took our two daughters and their 4 kids total on vacation. One of our sons in law was there for an afternoon; the other for two nights. We seniors had the last two nights to ourselves. We LOVE the deck, listening to the waves, watching the sunsets. The kids LOVE being able to walk to the beach, playground and Karen's ice cream. We all LOVE hiking at Hogback Ridge and Hidden Valley

The house was spacious and beautiful! The view was incredible, but it was not possible to enter the water from the steps as pictured without some athletic prowess and attention to avoiding dangerous rebar. The beach pictures were one of the primary reasons we chose the house, so this part was disappointing. Everything else was great!

This place was perfect for our collegiate wrestling team while we were in town for th U23 National Championships! Nothing could be coming back to the views and the hot tub/cold lake contrast after a long day of competition! The proximity to good restaurants was a plus for us coaches as well! We highly recommend this location!

We love staying here for Thanksgiving. It is a great getaway for our family as its just two hours away which allows some of us to come for the whole week and others for the long weekend.
The well equipped kitchen makes holiday meal prep easy and the house is lovely any time of year.

There were 11 of us total that stayed and it was a great place for us near my grandparents house so we all could visit. My big complaints are the utensils were really clean in the drawers, a lot of them had food still on them so we had to wash them again which was a big deal. The biggest issue was the hot water. There was only enough for about 5 minutes total of hot water. So you had to hurry as fast as possible through a shower so the next person might be able to do the same. It made it hard to get everyone clean each day especially when ages ranged from 59 to 5 months old and everyone played outside. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

The patio and the view make this house. It is located in a nice neighborhood with a park at the end of the road….very walkable. My sisters came up for a few nights, and there was plenty of room. We loved having coffee in the upstairs “look-out” room followed by mimosas on the deck. The two weeks went way too fast. We would rent this house again!

We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The property is beautiful and fit our group well. The deck with the hot tub and fire pit next to the water was wonderful. Steps down to the beach area were not the best for my grandparents so they did bot get to go down to the lake but they enjoyed the deck and watching the kids splash in the water from there. We were close to town and winerys which was an added bonus. We are hoping to be able to get this property again in the future. There was quite a bit of dog hair upon arrival so I assume the last party had and animal but other than that everything was great!

This was exactly what we were looking for, a nice quiet area with plenty of space just to relax and spend quality time with family.
The only drawback was there was literally no beach area. Its a common issue for the lake area so we understood why and certainly not the owners fault. The coastline sure has changed for Erie over the years! But we would stay here again!! We just loved the house and thankful we also rented the guest house for our daughter and son in law and their babies.

Perfect stay
This home was perfect for our large family of 12 adults and 3 children. The deck overlooking the water was amazing.

Outstanding Location and Views of Lake
This property as advertised had fantastic outdoor spaces with (1) small and (1) multi-level deck right over the water. Located walking distance from restaurants, park, beach, and other amenities and short drive to grocery stores and retail. The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating was a few household amenities that are normally present that were unavailable, but easily fixable, as well as some areas of the deck railings that need to be completed to ensure safety. Would still recommend!

First time at Geneva on the lake
The property and the view of the lake was amazing. Owners were great . Only downfall was the hot tub wasn’t working. Bud came and tried fixing it but needed more parts . But everything else went smoothly.

Great Stay On Lake Erie in Madison, Ohio
We were in town for a friends wedding and chose your home base on the size a description and it was as described.
The home was clean, and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Any questions I had the owners responded quickly.

Not very happy
It was a cold week and we were not able to raise the temperature at the home above 64 degrees. We ended up sleeping in our clothing and piling on every available blanket. I would not recommend this home for a winter stay.

Hot tub great for kids. Two TV spaces helped with kids. Layout of upstairs bedrooms good for three couples and 2 kids. Kitchen well equiped. Appreciated pet friendly. Walking to park, public beach, local eateries enjoyable even in Dec. Upstairs shower drain clogged. Remote for deck lights missing. Cleaning under beds needed. Fun to be right on Lake Erie. Safe, quiet neighborhood.

Very enjoyable stay by the lake!
We were very happy with the house. It is situated right on the lake and we enjoyed waking up and looking out at the lake everyday. The house we clean and just as described. The hot tub was a nice touch as well. Definitely recommend this for a stay!

Just what we needed!
The property is great. The house is clean and has plenty of utensils if you’re cooking. There is beach access but not a lot of beach when we were there due to the wind direction for the majority of our stay. The only thing it’s missing, and it may be particular to us, is a fenced in area for the dog. That being said, it’s still nice to have a place that accepts dogs. We enjoyed our time and what few questions we had were quickly answered.

Great Lake House
This house is perfectly positioned on the shore of Lake Erie. The deck actually hangs out over the shore, which can make it seem a little too close at times! The view from the living room and dining room area is perfect on days when the weather doesn't allow for deck use.
The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It isn't large in size, but it was enough to to prepare meals for 6.
The owners have a hand drawn map of the local restaurants and places of interest that was very helpful. The area itself is loaded with places to go, many of which are within walking distance.
The house was very clean upon arrival. 4 stars out of 5 for cleanliness due to one bed having a lot of hairs on the pillow, making it hard to believe the sheets were washed.
Overall, great house. We would definitely visit again.

Our family loves this house and all the amenities it offers. We have stayed here several times - the house, decks, hot tub, beach access, the cottage, etc. - this property offers us everything we need for a perfect family vacation on Lake Erie.

Return visit as great as the first
We had another wonderful stay in this Lake House. As our daughters now have four children between them, we also rented the small cottage behind the house. We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights while my daughters and their kids (plus one spouse one night) stayed in the main house and then we had the main house to ourselves for 4 nights. The kids love the playground and the local beach. We loved some of the hiking nearby (especially Hogback Ridge Park). The house could not have been cleaner or better stocked. The deck is an especially nice spot to watch sunsets or just listen to the waves.

The lakeside house in Madison-on-the-Lake was a great location for a family vacation. With five bedrooms and plenty of space, it was a comfortable headquarters for our weeklong stay.
