The big complaint……a worthless coffee pot. It needs to be put in the dumpster. It took so long to brew a pot, that both mornings, we had to get 8 cups of coffee at the coffee shop. For the price, check out at 10…..seemed way too early. The home was lovely and rendered itself perfect for families.

The property was very spacious and a great spot to accommodate our group. As noted in the listing, noise does travel throughout the house, we found the lower bedrooms to be louder than the upstairs. Overall, it was a great spot and we would book again.

This was a wonderful place to stay while in Door County with all our family. We all fit nicely. Very convenient. The host was excellent!

Our first two nights I had my kids and two grandchildren with me. Two nights for my daughter’s bachelorette party and the last night was a relaxation day. House was perfect for a large group of people.

Overall the space /size of the house was as expected and perfect for our family. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The bathroom floors had hair on. We needed to wash all the dishes before we used them. The grill was awful and there were cobwebs hanging all over the house. Also it was uncomfortable having the workers and trucks/landscapers walking around our house all day while working on the house directly behind us. The inner door of the washer was moldy. Also the patio door blinds in one downstairs bedroom are missing and broken. The shower heads all need to be cleaned. The first day we did ask for more firewood and that issue was resolved the next day. For the price we paid including a large cleaning fee, we were very disappointed. We didn’t reach out at that point because we wanted to focus on our vacation. We certainly left the house cleaner than when we arrived. We hope you take our feedback and pay more attention to cleanliness

The description of this property is very misleading it mentions a very private backyard which is not true.There are 3 houses on 1 large lot. When looking out of your front door or your back door you are staring into the backyard or front yard of the other houses which are a few feet away from you. Which in itself was disappointing because the reason that we chose this property was for the privacy. Upon arriving we were met with the owner who informed us that the property directly behind us was being finished during our stay. Which if we would have known we would have canceled and booked a different property. We realize that the workers were just doing their jobs but it was very disappointing to have them walking through the property at all hours of the day. We do have young children who would have enjoyed playing outside but could not Seeing as these workers were strangers & we didn’t feel comfortable. They also started a fire to burn rubble. I did get in contact with the owner to make a few complaints about this and see if there was anything that we could do they simply told us that the property line was before the fire, (no fences or Indicators) then reminded us there was no smoking ON THE PROPERTY. Like not even outside where we watched all the their workers smoking cigarettes Daily. We were also asked to move our cars multiple times even though in the description it says we are allowed to bring six cars. Overall it was just a very inconvenient and disappointing trip.

My family of 20 (ages 72 down to 5) enjoyed six days at this property. The beds were all comfy (SIX king beds!) and the kitchen is nice and spacious. LOVED the gigantic island with seating. Two fridges were so handy with this big group. Two living areas was helpful as well. The kids built a killer fort in the woods. Outdoor space is fantastic. Nice and quiet spot for a large group. The only downside is that the upstairs floors are slatted wood with no insulation whatsoever. You can see through the upstairs floors down into ALL the rooms below. We brought box fans to help cut down on the noise for those who went to bed earlier and woke up earlier. All in all, solid place to stay. I would stay here again.

great location large gathering area plenty of beds

The size of the place and kitchen provisions were great. We spent every evening out at the fire pit chatting and enjoying the outdoors. The only issue we had was that sound travels easily when kids are around. The slits in the upstairs floorboards permitted quite a bit of sound to travel throughout the house, preventing people from having a quiet area. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

House was exactly as pictured. It was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Would definitely recommend for a larger group. Plenty of beds and space to hang out. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

The positive is the house layout. The adults stayed in the 4 bedrooms on the main floor. The kids were upstairs in 4 bedrooms. The issues: there was no warning by the owners to tell us that there would be construction going on right behind and to the side of the house we stayed at (they are building two more houses). Workers showed up at 7:30am and left 6:30pm. The noise level would be loud: banging and sawing. Plus they would start a fire to burn the excess debris. If you wanted to sit outside to relax & enjoy the peace and quiet we were expecting, it couldn't happen. The main room of the house has a wall of 4 sliding doors and windows with no window coverings & no privacy. Workers could look into the house at all times. The VRBO website description states: "a very private wooded backyard". Nope. Even though in the house description we were warned about the upstairs floors "they add character of the home that is not soundproof," be prepared as the noise travels up and down the two home levels. The description also says that the home "has all the amenities you need". In the kitchen, there were only 5 dinner forks, 6 salad forks, 3 teaspoons for up to 20 guests. You may need to bring more, along with paper towels. There was no fireplace as in the VRBO listing. When we wanted use the fire pit, there was no lighter/matches. We were told we could go buy one, really? The owners should come in and check over everything & needed supplies. Crumbs still fall in cracks.

Perfect place if you have a large group. We had plenty of enough places for people to sleep. We really enjoyed the large living room, island and three fridges. In walking distance from good parts of town

Enough space to be with family but way house is laid out can also have alone time

We had a girls weekend at this property and it was absolutely perfect for our group! The layout of the house was great for a large group- we could tell the details were well thought out. The location was also great and we enjoyed restaurants and the Door County Wine Trolley (they picked us up at the house). Definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed the main spaces of this VRBO, and communication with the property manager was great. The property based on the listing was a bit confusing, as the many bedrooms weren't necessarily private bedrooms. Some had "combined" bedrooms that didn't lean a lot to privacy between our large group of couples and families with kids. Also, it's not the best house for toddlers who aren't good on steps without an adult. We did put the bench in front of the steps, but there are many sets of steps throughout the house, all open. The other thing that wasn't super ideal with children that went to bed earlier than the adults was the open floors - literally, you can see down into the main space through the floors upstairs. This conducted sound from below pretty easily. Otherwise, great location, great communal main living area, we enjoyed our couple of days there with our group of 13 adults and 5 kids (ages 18 mo to 9 yo).

A trip to Door County to celebrate my 50th birthday with 7 other couples. The house was great with plenty of space for everyone! Spent a relaxing day hanging out in the quiet backyard playing horeshoes and enjoying the fire pit. Note that a third building is under construction just behind this one, so the privacy of the backyard is going away. If it weren’t for the rude contractors, the trip would have been near perfect!

We are a group pf women who have been together since our College graduation 45 years ago. We meet each year at a different destination. This home was comfortable and spacious in a great llocation. Immaculately clean, and beautiful decor. Host was readily available for our questions. The coffeepot didn't work for us and a new one arrived within a very short time. Thank you.☕️

We enjoyed our stay in Door County and this property was a good central location to explore the area.

This is the third summer we’ve rented this property, and have already reserved it again for 2023. There was a very odd and off-putting encounter with the owner right off the bat the first year we rented. Enough so that at the time, I decided we weren’t going to rent this place again. However, after staying in the house for the week, we came to the conclusion that it is the most ideal vacation home for our big family (my parents, my siblings and their spouses/families). The family suites located upstairs are perfect for the two families w/kids in our group. Having the second living room space is a very ideal place for the kids to play. We love the spacious kitchen that allows our large group to eat meals together. The location is great, close to town, and a short drive to other towns and attractions. One thing I have noticed is while the price has gone up significantly since the first year we rented, the state and condition of the property has declined. While I understand inflation, the maintenance on the house does not reflect the increase in price. Little things like dirty rugs, stained comforters, burned out lightbulbs, loose door handles, backed up drains, lime buildup in the faucets and shower heads, weeds in the rock beds, and wasp nests in the soffits of the house. The kitchen counters are epoxied wood, but have split and warped leaving large cracks that collect food and crumbs. The pots and pans are not great, we have brought our own for the last two years. There is a large amount of plates and cups and silverware which is nice for a large group. Having two refrigerators and a beverage cooler is also a bonus. The appliances are nice as well. Lots of pros, a few cons, overall I recommend this vacation property.

There were 20 of us—all family—here for a week. The house was great for us, lots of room. The only drawback was that the ceiling of the main floor/floor of the second floor was made up of only ceiling joists and floor boards which allowed for lots of noise and light filtration between floors. The kids upstairs complained that the light from downstairs kept them up and the noise from adults playing games and talking also kept them up or woke them up in the morning. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and location immensely. We can recommend the house to those who need a large place to spread out.

The house was fantastic! We absolutely loved it, and it was perfect for our families to have their own spaces with a great common one in the kitchen and living room!

We had 18 female family members! Everyone agreed our VRBO was perfect! Most of the reviews will tell you about the noise issue. The owner was very upfront and honest in the description telling us about the noise. Based on the reviews we were expecting the worst. This was NOT the case. Yes, there was noise, but most people had earplugs, fans, or noise machines and we all thought the noise was not a problem. If I have to find a complaint, it would be that it could use some more hand towels and washclothes. FYI - there were 23 outdoor chairs, plenty of firewood, and gas for the grill. We brought some of our own bag chairs in case there was not enough but would not have needed to. Plenty of refrigerator space. Just an overall, unique yet beautiful and comfortable home!

We had a great first experience in Door County in this home. The house is as pictured and has lots of space for larger groups. There is hardly any private area, so would recommend primarily for family groups.

Great space for a girls weekend

This house was absolutely perfect for a large gathering. The kitchen island fit us all easily and the house was so spacious and light and welcoming! There wasn’t really a barrier between the main floor and the second floor so noise did travel pretty easy between floors but it wasn’t too much of an issue for our group. All in all I would absolutely stay again and recommend!!!

We had a wonderful weekend here. It was spacious for our group of 13. Like everyone else said it’s not very private because of the spaces between the floors of the upstairs.
