Stayed for almost a month and would have happily stayed longer. Beautiful place, obviously well-loved and well taken care of. I especially enjoyed all the local art throughout the house. I work remote and the wifi was great, no issues.

Enjoyed the house, and the yard was wonderful for our dogs. Perfect location and great outdoor spaces. Melissa was excellent to communicate with. We really enjoyed looking at the book showing the home’s renovation. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

I truly love this perfect house in Taos. The description is exactly right -- there isn't a better spot. This was my 3rd stay and each time has been wonderful. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

This is a beautiful home in a very private, but convenient, location. Every detail has been anticipated for the comfort of the guests. The home is so personal and warm that you can't help but exhale. There is every modern convenience, but the character of the original adobe is front and center. The heated floors were amazing in the middle of a several day long snowstorm. The art work was so lovely and interesting that I could not wait to visit the galleries in town.
My friend and I needed a getaway so badly, and this booking delivered an over-the-top level of relaxation and privacy, while being close to everything Taos has to offer.
Melissa was incredibly helpful and gracious with her recommendations and assistance.
The pictures are an accurate representation of this beautiful property. Our dog immediately owned and patrolled the spacious yard, and had so much fun frolicking and zooming around in the snow. SO much room to run!
If this property is not avaialble for my next visit, I will change the dates of my vacation to be able to experience Casa Bettita again! Best overall experience ever. Highly recommend!

The house is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. Everything was clean, stocked with essentials, and many books and area information was nice. Melissa is communicative and kind. Kids and dog loved it too. 😊

This is a lovely, well appointed property. It is clear that the owner has been very thoughtful about the amenities provided and the comfort of the home. We enjoyed learning about the home and its restoration. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces with the beautiful willow tree and the apple tree. The kitchen is very well appointed, and the host is very generous with the kitchen stock. The bed and the linens are quite comfortable. The art is just beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved this place! It was in a great location but felt like it was very secluded! Lots of nice touches including information about much of the artwork and special treasures in the house. We would definitely come back!

This is the best VRBO we've ever stayed in! It really felt like we were in a home, not just a house. So many nice details and very comfortable. Plenty of blankets to stay cozy on the cold nights. Well stocked kitchen. Very private. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Taos!

We had an amazing time!! Our first time to Taos and the house was convenient to many great restaurants and things to do. We also enjoys the house at night and played cards and dominos- We went skiing at Ski Valley and it was beautiful and not crowded at all- we will be back! Thanks for the great hospitality!

The home is gorgeous! I felt like I was in my dream house. It is decorated beautifully. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with. We saved money by preparing several meals there. The two kiva fireplaces have wood, kindling. and matches all ready to make a fire. There are wonderful books about the Southwest on the shelves. The bed is so comfortable. There are very clear instructions on how things work. We loved how private the house is with the large lot and enjoyed the hot tub.
The location is excellent. It is close to shopping. museums, and restaurants. Casa Betita is the nicest place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot. Our time there was the best part of our trip to Taos. If you stay at Casa Betita, you will love it.

Everything was wonderful! We were able to relax and have a real vacation with all the comforts of an actual house. The kitchen is fantastic, lots of space, and the furnishings and vibe were must great. Also: hot tub perfection PLUS a deep soaking tub? Really just a great place to stay.

Our family of four stayed here in November and it was memorable for all the right reasons. We had never been to Taos and we had to force ourselves to leave the property so we could actually see Taos.Being in the home was so enjoyable. Our dog loved it too.

Perfect get-away! Close to town, but quiet and inviting if you just want to stay in and relax. An unexpected snow was beautiful with a warm fire was icing on the cake. The large fenced yard was enjoyed by our pup, too!

We loved our stay here, the home is so rich in history and beautifully decorated inside. The walk into town was super pleasant and sitting on the deck late afternoon very relaxing. Highly recommend and hope to stay again some day!

My husband and small dog stayed here for three nights and were enchanted by Casa Betita! This adobe home, nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting a short drive and walk from the plaza is so welcoming, and well-appointed with all kinds of thoughtful, artful touches. Melissa has thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable with a detailed instruction binder that includes a wonderful story about how she found and renovated the home and why it has a special connection for her and her family. The furnishings and artwork capture the spirit of Taos. I was hypnotized (in a good way) by the swaying branches of the willow in the wind. We definitely hope to return soon!

Beautifully restored old Adobe. To of the line restoration with every amenity imaginable. Loved the apple and apricot trees in the yard (so did our dog). It was quite warm during our stay but the wide verandas, thick walls, big trees and screen doors kept us very comfortable inside all day. Would stay here again for sure!!!

Beautiful home decorated with unique, local art. Great location being just 5 minutes from the plaza. Very clean and the host has thought of everything! I have never stayed in a more hospitable, well equipped home. She makes you feel as if your family and truly wants you to enjoy the stay (local honey, spices, soaps, bath salts, candles, etc.). Our girls loved the swing from the beautiful willow tree. I would definitely recommend booking this home and we would stay again!!

We loved staying at Casa Betita! Perfect location, beautiful yard and porches, amazing decor and updates to the home. So much love and respect must have gone into the renovation of this property, because it can be felt in every corner. Everything that we needed was provided for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Betita! The house is beautiful and very comfortable . We were vacationing with our dog, and there is a large fenced yard that allowed her to roam! The house is in the neighborhood, but it is close to downtown Taos and we were able to enjoy our friends and family who live there. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook a fine meal at the house. The beds were comfortable as well. Melissa did an incredible job renovating this fine home.

We loved her property. We had some not-so-lovely weather and enjoyed the hot tub and card games with the fire going. Plenty of cooking equipment which we appreciated. She should be proud of all the work she's done on this place!

Melissa’s home was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed from firewood to spices. The property is located a little more than a mile to Taos plaza which was really convenient. Melissa also answered my questions in a timely manner which I appreciated.

This is an amazing property, the owner has remodeled this historic home with love. It was much larger than we thought it would be - the pictures do not do this home justice! Gorgeous landscape - that willow tree is like nothing I have ever seen! We were there to ski but we wanted to stay in our VRBO rental! We will hopefully be back, would be nice to be there in the spring when the outdoor area could be enjoyed more thoroughly!

We had the most wonderful stay at this incredibly well appointed home. The kitchen is stocked with everything a chef could ask for and more. The beds are cozy and there is plenty of room to spread out and read or get some work done at two office desks. The art work and personal touches are charming and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

We loved the home and enjoyed all of the amenities it had. A fully stocked kitchen which we used and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. Our dog loved the fenced yard which seemed about 1/4 acre. The hot tub was nice enjoying the sunset. It was only minutes drive to town. We would stay again

My husband and I spent a month working remotely and exploring the Taos area. This was the perfect base for our stay. The house is roomy and homey at the same time. The kitchen was set up so that we could really cook, with amenities like a coffee grinder, an outside grill, lots of well seasoned pots and pans, sharp knives etc. I appreciated the real furniture, artwork and heated floors. This is a genuine home and not just a house. The love of place is palpable. Thanks for a lovely month!

We have been VRBO guests for over 20 years and have stayed in accommodations that have run the gamut of “how could the host have been so dishonest in the description” to “Wow! This lovely place has far exceeded our expectations in every way!” Most of the homes we have stayed in have been closer to the latter, thank goodness, but Casa Betita surpassed every expectation we had…We can only echo the other 5 star reviews…Melissa is, indeed, a premier host, easily accessible , and gracious. Our feelings about staying in this sanctuary of a home are summed up by stating “it felt as though we were I the home of good friend…” We and our two pups thank you, Melissa!
