I'm very split with my opinion about this place. I had an unfortunate situation which I will explain below but in general the hotel is nice and provides a good value for the money for sure. Good location, nice pool area, most of the staff was friendly and helpful, in the heart of the town but somehow secluded and peaceful inside.

I requested a quiet room which was confirmed to me prior arrival. It turned out they put me in a room very close to the highway which was exposed to very loud traffic noise. They first asked me for an additional fee to move me to another (more quiet) room (!) so I had to contact Booking to assist me. They helped me out and I was moved with no extra cost. But that’s not it - the next night I was waken up by an extremely loud power generator that happened to be located just above the room they put me in! When I got out and looked for the staff explaining the situation and being already agitated from the whole situation, she got annoyed (!) and moved me to the loudest room closest to the highway (!) claiming that was the only available room they have with a very rude tone. Luckily the next day other staff members were nicer and finally got me to a 'normal' and tried their best to apologize for everything and make my stay as comfortable as possible but at that point I couldn't really enjoy my stay there anymore and just waited for it to end...

Our room was located next to the entry and at night you can hear noise from other guests. Also we were worry about security, because principal entry was always open and everyone could go in anytime.

Santa Barbara hotel is the excellent accommodation just few minutes walking from the main square. The room and the common areas are very good maintained, exactly as shown in the pictures. You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay, like the comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, aircon, wifi connection. The water pool and jacuzzi are clean and the area around the pool is a very pleasant place to relax. The staff is very welcoming, responsive and friendly. Great value for money. Highly recommend this place!

The water in the shower is too cold.

Pool was nice. Location convenient in the town but not loud.

Service was terrible. Jacuzzi Sauna weren't working. And they neither communicated it to us before, nor made any effort to fix it. Doors didn't close/open without struggle. Other small things didn't work here and there, made it inconvenient. Service for drinks and food in general was bad, had to ask them several times to ask our group what everyone wants to drink.

Breakfast was tasty and made to order. Property is beautifully maintained and has a calm, relaxed vibe. Every single staff member was friendly and professional.
