My sons (early 20's) and I loved staying in this beautiful home for our near end of season vacation. It's close to SF, and feels like a completely different world. The views of the ocean are stunning and there is a path down to the gorgeous sandy beach beside the property.

The views were stunning! Property management were very responsive. The path leading to the ocean can be alittle hard for some. (Thin, rocky wet/muddy in some areas) There is another path not far from this one that I found easier. The home is beautiful and as list but there are things that I feel that have been over looked and or showing aging. Patio doors have no locks, only pieces of wood at the bottom of the tracks, lining under couch hanging down, one of the bbq burns doesn’t work, handle to patio door going out to spa is loose, toilet paper holder in down stair bedroom is loose, mold at bottom of shower curtains, a few kitchen cabinet doors need fix, curtain rod falling down in dining room, handle to freezer fell off, house walls are in need of a fresh coat of pain not just touched up with the wrong color of paint or primer. With all that said, my family and I enjoyed this home!

I would recommend coming here as long as you are not looking for a high end luxury. Though the look was a bit dated the views were spectacular and the rooms were large and comfortable! Essentially 3 master bedrooms plus one room with bunkbeds. The showers were excellent! Some of the bathroom fixtures on the first floor such as cupboards and toilets could be updated as well as the bedspreads,and the electric fire place wasn't the best. I am only listing these because of the price. The couches were really comfortable so hanging out was easy. There were chairs on both the decks to relax in. The games in the garage were a fun touch but a but it felt like were in a garage of course. I would come back with a other coupls so we could split the cost and enjoy the experience as it was a beautiful setting. Everyone was very very helpful and friendly!

The perfect place to stay for a large family. Short walk to the beach is always a plus and the view was spectacular. The game room offered non stop fun for the kids while the adults could enjoy the peace and quiet in the main house. Loved watching the deer every evening at dinner time.

Thank you for inquiring about our stay.We enjoyed ourselves for the 2nd time at this rental with our family. The coffee maker was not working and was replaced rapidly. Thank you.One large wine glass got broken in the dishwasher, sorry.It was very warm inside when we arrived, and we opened the doors to cool it down. later with all the stormy weather it got cool, and we were unable to make it as comfortable as we would like with small children. We did use the fireplace, but it did not make much change. Perhaps we didn't know how to use it properly.My only real problem was the internet. It was very weak and short ranged. I set my android phone (with AT&T) to wireless but 80% of the time I had no service. I needed to communicate back home but couldn't. My daughter had an iPhone and was able to use it more often. I would hope that you could make improvement in that feature. We were there when the bad storm hit. We lost power several times but adapted fine. In the morning just before we left, we noticed the barbeque was no longer on the deck and the gutter over the garage was damaged.We look forward to visiting again next year.Carol Bartley

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tide Pool. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that greeted us.
The location of the house is perfect! Just a short walk to get to the beach, and the village. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is wonderful for cooking with a group. We had an issue with the BBQ not lighting and the management were right on it. They were quick to reply, so friendly and helpful.
The game room was another highlight of our stay. It offered a great space for entertainment. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed gorgeous Dillon Beach sunsets on the expansive deck! We look forward to staying at Tide Pool again!

Just so you know, the game room is detached from the house. The pic going down to the beach is a little misconceiving. The path next to the house is ok until you get to the bottom. You will be going down on your butt over the rocks to get to the small beach areas. Overall, the house was nice. Basically, a 3 bedroom. The master upstairs has bunkbeds in a closet. There is a couch that is a hid-a-bed in the livingroom. Ocean veiw was great. No fenced in area for your pup.(which they stated). The BBQ ingniter didn't work. The dishwasher door when opened and the bottom drawer pulled out basically put everything on the floor. (be carefull). We let the propery management know. It would have been nice to know which type of coffee maker they had which was both regular perk & Kuerig. Overall with the hiccups, it was good.

There was quite a few things that were broken. The freezer door handle kept falling off. The towel racks in the bathrooms were all loose. The water in the outside hot tub said the water should have been changed 120 days ago. The full body shower upstairs didn’t work. One of the slider door screens was ripped. All the screens were hard to open. We were only given a minimum amount of towels, and weren’t aware we needed to bring extra towels, until we saw the note inside the house binder. Therefore we had to go buy extra towels at Costco. I feel for the amount I paid for the week long stay, these things should have been provided/or clearly conveyed.

Family and Friends had a very comfortable stay here. The location and view are unbeatable. The VRBO had everything we could have needed. Enjoyed walking down to the beach and sitting on the patio watching the sunset. It was by far one of our best family trips ever. Stacy was amazing to communicate with. Very prompt response time and gave some great restaurant recommendations. Game room needs a good cleaning, but other than that, everything was top notch! We will definitly be back again!

The views were amazing. My family loved sitting in the hot tub at night overlooking the ocean. The garage had a lot of fun games for the family to use. The kids enjoyed the second story area and claimed it as their club house. The path to the ocean was short, but too difficult a hike for grandma and grandpa. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at Tide Pool - the location can't be beat! We spent everyday at the beach and it was so nice to be able to come back, rest up / eat, and then head back out. The general store at Dillon Beach was great and easy to walk to from the house, they have lots of food items and gift shop items. The small path that runs along the house down to the beach was easy to navigate for our family, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who have a hard time with balance/walking. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves every day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

I will preface this that overall, our stay was great. There were some things that were "interesting", like the bunkbeds were in the closet. Which left little to no air flow. My son nicknamed it the "asylum room". So we moved the mattress to the floor of our bedroom. But overall the house had lots to offer. The game room was in the garage and had a separate entrance, but was filled with fun things, nonetheless. The showers were nice but we had our older father come and there were no walk in showers in the lower level of the home so that was kind of hard. But I think that I personally just need to be better at looking for that when reserving a home (that's not on owner). Like I said overall our time was awesome at the Tide Pool. It is a little pricey, which then makes you really nitpick the little things like crayon on the walls, dirty windows, cobwebs, broken screens, see through drapes, bunk beds in closets. But we love Dillon Beach and were just happy to be there with that amazing view. And the hot tub was a "must"! Especially with that view.

Let me start off by saying my family and I have visited a lot of Northern Cali’s coast line and previously lived in the Petaluma area, and this was one of the most memorable stays to date! The view and beach access we’re second to none. The house accommodated us wonderfully, as we had 7 of us and a baby. The dog loved the beach and everyone around was so friendly. The garbage had a game room with anything you’d want to play and a poker table in the loft. We cooked dinners in the kitchen that was very well stocked with all we needed. The hot tub was amazing for cool mornings and evenings looking out over the coastline. My wife and family loved the path down to the beach, which almost seemed like our own private path and beach. We were welcomed to the home with lights on and music playing. Everything was clean and ready for us. Would highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it.

Tide pool was the perfect place for a staycation for our weekend getaway. We brought our 3 month old and our dog and we stayed with 2 other couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. It’s rare for us to find homes that have king size beds for each couple and a bathroom for each also. Everything about Tide Pool was great. We loved the beautiful view that we even got to enjoy from the huge bathroom upstairs and our friends loved the hot tub. The game room kept everyone entertained and the kitchen was perfect for us to make all our meals so we didn’t have to go out at all for food. We were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. I would love to come back to Tide Pool maybe during the summer time when the weather is warmer.

Great location for a beach getaway! The views were captivating and endless from upstairs to downstairs. And the access to the beach was right out the door. There’s a great trail with a creek flowing adjacent to it. Our stay was short. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The washer/ dryer is advertised but there is a note in the house not to use it and to take 5 minute showers. The kitchen cookware could use an upgrade as the Teflon was in poor condition. Overall a great place with a few areas that could use improvement.

So much fun! We had a four day stay at "Tide Pool" and could not have been happier. First of all Wine Country to Coast were excellent resources for us and responded promptly to our needs, which were few. Description of the property on the website is reflective of what you will get when you walk into the house which was clean and inviting. Easily accommodated our 10 people comfortably, with lots of space, seating and a great kitchen (well stocked) for entertaining. The weather went from sunny and shirt sleeves to stormy, wet, and cold over the course of our stay yet we never wanted for anything as the temperature remained perfect and windows and doors were well maintained to mitigate the rain and cold temps that accompanied the storms. Game room was good although for us a bit too cold on the bad weather days. I would recommend this property without hesitation.
