We had a great time in SF. The unit is comfortable, meeting and exceeding all expectations. The view of Alcatraz and the Bay is outstanding. The proximity to attractions like Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, both north end cable cars stops, the main Big Bus stop all can't be beat. The Telegraph Hill parrots stopping by add even more character to the property. Do pay careful attention to the property description. It is on the third level (including the garage) so you'll be climbing some steps. The owner is very careful to keep the rental unit cat free, but, as he clearly states, there are cats on the property including in the shared entry way to an upper apartment, so anyone very sensitive to cats should bear that in mind. The property bedrooms face a pretty busy street so be prepared for that as well. We recommend definitely taking advantage of the off-street garage parking spot. For a small extra charge you get the peace of mind of having your vehicle out of harms way. Getting in and out of the garage is a bit of a challenge so be sure to get & follow the owner's instructions to do so safely.

This is a gem of a property, mainly down to its prime location and views but also thanks to great communication and support from host, spacious layout, excellent amenities etc. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting the city.

Before we arrived, we had helpful communication from our host. He was overly accommodating in terms of our arrival and departure. He was attentive during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. He was personable and entertaining. Our host gave us pointers about the surrounding area and helped with transportation questions. The apartment was spacious yet cozy. We had everything we needed to make it our home away from home. The views were outstanding and the overall experience is one that I didn't want to end. We will be back.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in this property. Rob is a gracious host and was readily available for any questions or issues we might have had. Beds were comfortable, towels plentiful and kitchen was well equipped for any cooking we might need to do. The only problem with the condo is that you are going to want to spend more time on the patio enjoying the amazing views and watching the parrots and might miss some of the other fun things to do in the city that are so conveniently located to this property.

This place is amazing! We had great views in a great location. And we saw the parrots! It had everything you need within walking distance. We were able to walk to grocery shop to save money on eating out. Otherwise, we ate seafood around Fisherman’s Wharf which was a 5 minute walk. My Dad has a *minor* cat allergy and didn’t have a problem staying here. We were able to park our rental car but we only used it once to go to Muir Woods. I’ll deal with steps for a fantastic view any day! We loved it and I would definitely stay here again!

Great location with amazing view of the bay. We sat on the balcony every night taking in the bay breeze and the scenery. I was amazed at how quiet it was and how we could hear the seals barking all the way over at the pier. Beds were comfortable and the owners were attentive. Tourist spots close by and walkable.

The views of the city are marvelous!

My husband and I were joined by our grown daughter and my mother for a long weekend. This is an ideal location and the unit worked perfectly for our group. It’s a lot of steps but we were prepared for that and the view makes it well worth the climb. There are groceries a few blocks away and tons of restaurants close by. Cable cars, street cars and ferries are close as well. Rob is an ideal host as he’s eager to answer questions and offer suggestions if you need. And then there are the parrots that visit his feeders daily. Getting to see the parrots close up made us all smile. We feel lucky to have stayed here. Thanks for the hospitality, Rob!

The location of the property was excellent with sweeping views of the bay and Alcatraz. Rob, the property owner currently resides above the rented floor. He is very involved in the introduction and entry to the residence and offers many insights into the safety of the surrounding area. Also note, that he shares the same Wi-Fi network as what's offered so keep that in mind for anyone who requires extensive use of the internet during your stay. Overall I'd recommend this place for those looking to spend most of their time exploring the vicinity, as it's literally just blocks away from Ghirardelli Square, The Buena Vista, Lombard Street, and Fisherman's Wharf. One last thing to note, you will be sharing an entryway with Rob that provides access to both floors of the property, albeit with separate doors for additional privacy.

A few minutes away from the wharf. Robert stayed connected and went above and beyond on a request for us. Nice place, parking tight for larger vehicles.

The property was in a great location to experience all that San Fran has to offer. The view is incredible.

This could not be more central to all things San Francisco. The view of Alcatraz was amazing. We parked our rental in the garage for an additional fee which was nominal. We spent most of the time walking and taking public transit. The location made it perfect to access all the attractions. We did take the car out to go to the Golden Gate and Sausalito. The owner was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The listing is very straight forward and accurate.

If you’re going to San Francisco, this is where you want to stay! The property is conveniently located to pretty much everything! Robert was a perfect host and the unit was accurately described in the listing. We had one hiccup that was COMPLETELY my fault regarding payment for the property and Robert was a gentleman in how he handled it. When we come back, we will 100% stay here. Thanks again!

This apartment was very nice and had all the amenities you would need. Wonderful views spanning the bay. The place was centrally located to many attractions, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, North Beach, Alcatraz boat. There are some steep streets to climb back up to the house, then about 45 steps up to the apartment, but we were told about the steps before we booked. Rob was helpful with suggestions of restaurants, etc.He would check in with us occasionaly to see how we were doing and asking about what we have done. Parrots stop by several times a day in Rob's apartment upstairs whcih was fun.
