I would stay here again! It was a perfect place for my family. We started each morning with coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach/ocean waves and ended each day on the balcony watching the sunset. It had all the necessities we needed to fix breakfast, lunch and a few dinners (we ate out too). It was quiet and peaceful and close to great restaurants. I would recommend checking out Fred’s Mexican Cafe. We parasailed in Lahaina and swam under waterfalls on the Road to Hana (recommend both!) and, of course, hit up several beaches. There are several beach items for use in the condo, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel masks, coolers, kids’ sand toys, boogie boards, etc. The location of this unit is perfect. And for the price, it’s hard to beat. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed being in Kihei - a perfect distance between Wailea and LaHaina and all other points. The view from the balcony was a perfect location to enjoy the morning views and evening sunset.

Location and view across the ocean is awesome. Apartment is set up with everything you need for a great beach holiday, we especially appreciated the beach chairs which we put to good use. Recommended.

There was a problem with the shower in the master bathroom and the property owner someone out right away to have it fixed. The window in the master bedroom doesn’t open but the property owner was very sensitive, caring and responsive to our needs.

We had a lot of difficulty getting a response from the host on all messages. The most concerning was that we never got access instructions that we were told would be provided 2 days before checkin. After messaging and calling all the numbers provided we finally called VRBO who said we had to go to the condo and if access still was not provided they would find us similar accommodations. So we landed in Maui with one of our party in a wheelchair and the another 84 years old and no way to get in. We were emailed the info after we landed and told “sorry I didn’t realize the email wasn’t sent.” :( The condo was pleasant and the view was beautiful! Our only issue was the Wi-Fi was useless for using the internet. We were not able to get online and so just shut off the Wi-Fi on our phones and used cellular data which was very spotty. Also, the TV system wouldn’t recognize the HDMI source and we couldn’tn watch TV either, not that we wanted to except for the American Idol finals where the local boy won!!

Great location. Plenty of beach towel, chairs and umbrellas for use. The lanai was perfect. Two small things - easily fixed - need more than one washcloth per bathroom and twin bedroom fan needs to be cleaned. Otherwise - perfect! Thank you!

Beautiful ocean view of the sunset. The property is nice but the suite could use some maintenance on the sliding screen doors and the en-suite bathtub tap as the water didn’t get very hot, only a barely warm shower. Hot water at the sinks though. Air conditioner in the bedrooms are very loud. Teenagers in the second bedroom said the beds were not comfortable. Master bed was comfy but the air conditioner is right beside the pillows so it blows in your face if you’re facing that way. The owner should consider switching the locations of the bed and the dresser for that reason. Other than that, it was a decent place. Our 2 days were spent out and about so we didn’t get a chance to experience the rest of the property.

The view from the lanai is gorgeous! The location is good. Plenty of towels, beach towels, and beach supplies. However, the unit needs updating. The sofa and loveseat are old without much support and really need to be replaced. There are several dings and some water damage on the walls and doors that need to be repaired and repainted. The master bathroom appliances are corroded, should be replaced. The dishes were mostly chipped. The router died mid-week. The host was quick to get it replaced by the internet provider. Overall, this was a nice rental that fit our needs.

We arrived right at sunset and enjoyed that beautiful view from the moment we walked in. The condo was very clean and comfortable, but the truth is we spend most of the week out on the lani enjoying the view. What a great way to spend the week!

We love it at this property, it was our second time visiting and we hope to be back again. View and access to the beach is spectacular. Everything is quiet, you have a lot of space to yourself. The pool is nice and warm and perfect for small children. The condo unit has everything you’d need to make your own meals. Very happy here!

Overall, the unit is rundown and needs some upgrades. The carpet is old and dirty looking. The screens to the balconies were always coming off the track. The window in the smaller bedroom was broken and couldn't shut properly so it never got quiet in that room. The air unit in the larger room sounds like a freight train. Things like that. Asked for 1 hour extension on the early 10a.m. check-out time and was denied. Check-in is also late - 4p. Seems to be that 11a / 3p are more standard. That made us have to cut our last day short since we had to leave early and kill time before the airport. I wouldn't stay here again but.... It's in a prime location. Breathtaking views. We appreciated having the balcony. It will do if you don't really care and you're just there to sleep.

Very relaxing and comfortable condo.

We stayed at the Koa Lagoon 504 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing and we spent so much time on the lanai. Beds we’re comfortable and the area quiet. We will be back!

There’s nothing like stepping out on the lanai with your morning cup of coffee and seeing the sunrise right from the beach. Then sitting with a glass of wine watching the sunset right from the beach. What amazing experience we had here and the space was well worth the price which was very affordable! The kitchen was great with the pots and pans. We were able to cook steaks on the nice Weber grills downstairs and use the snorkel equipment when we wanted to see the Honus swim. I would say that i was the only one who could use the snorkel mask (child size) because i have a small head. It would be great to have adult snorkeling equipment! Everything was clean and up to date. We will definitely come back to this one again!

This was a very nice place right on the beach which I visited every morning for my walk. The sunsets are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing I would change would be the living room furniture is old and not that comfortable. We didn't utilize it much and that would be my only recommendation. Other than this, I would stay here again and appreciate being able to have this opportunity.

Place was as advertised, clean and great sunsets. There were 2 reasons it didn't get 5 stars. There were only a few (5?) drinking glasses strangely. Our family of 4 had to keep rewashing them. Second, and more important, the AC in the living room doesn't work that well. Though we kept the blinds closed to limit the sun, the room never got below 80 degrees. It was particularly hot when we were there so perhaps this isn't an issue other times of the year.

Great location, beautiful view! Couldn't ask for anything more. The condo was perfect for us. Had everything we needed. Close to town. Enjoyed the sunsets every evening from the balcony or beach.

Loves the location and having two bathrooms. Appreciate having the boogie boards and chairs for the beach. Unit needs some upkeep to fix lighting fixture and shower in master bath. Cabinet doors kept breaking so my husband kept fixing them.

We had beautiful views of the ocean, access to a pool and bbq and coffee and breakfast on the Lenai every morning. Not sure about the evaporative cooler in the living room-it didn’t cool the room down in the evening. Could be operator error, but there were no one instructions.

Three of us spent a week there for a "sister's getaway". The unit has a beautiful view! The photos for the unit should be retaken to reflect how nice the view and property are. Loved the location because it was midway between the 2 sides of Maui. There were turtles in the rock lagoon next door. The owner provided beach chairs, ice chest and other amendities which helped make our stay more enjoyable. Would definately choose to stay here again.

The location was perfect. It is close/convenient to the airport, marina, other fun excursions., activities and food. This is the windy part of the island but certainly not a deterrent. The condo was a very comfortable place to stay, has an abundance of beach toys and chairs although it lacked some basic necessities. that were not available in the unit. Unfortunately when we arrived the place was not ready for access and we had to wait an additional 45 mins-1 hour (not great when you have groceries needing to be refrigerated). Check in is 4pm the unit should have been cleaned prior to our arrival and ready at check in time. Additionally, we had a prior arrangement for late check out. The time (5pm) was provided by the property manager weeks in advance. We received a request to leave at the normal check out time the morning of our check out at 6am (check out is 10am). This was very frustrating, had the late check out time not been the time the property manager suggested and not done the morning of we could have been made other arrangements. I was lucky to have read my email early in the morning. As it was, I have my doubts if there were cleaners in shortly after we left to get the unit ready for the next occupant. Not sure how this time could have change at such late date/time. The property manager was good with communication prior to arrival. The light switches were not well labeled and some did not seem to go to anywhere. Unfortunately for the reason of the check in/out hassle, inconvenience , not having basic needs such as sufficient toilet paper and other kitchen needs etc. would I consider staying here again, not sure. The condo has beautiful views with amazing sunsets and right on the beach.
