Sie werden dieses wunderschön eingerichtete Cottage lieben und Ihr Green Lake Erlebnis genießen. Während der Sommersaison ist es mindestens 4 Nächte gemietet. Das Haus hat zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer auf der ersten Ebene mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Badezimmer auf der unteren Ebene. Eine sonnendurchflutete Küche mit Frühstückstheke und Essbereich sowie eine Sitzecke mit Kamin und Flatscreen-TV. Der erste Stock hat auch ein schönes Wohnzimmer (mit einem Schlafsofa) für Puzzles, Lesen und / oder beobachten Sie einen anderen Flachbild-TV. Eine Veranda mit großen Fenstern bietet einen schönen Blick auf den See. Außerhalb der Küche ist eine weitere perfekte Veranda für den Morgenkaffee oder ein köstliches Essen, während Sie den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Hinter dem Haus ist eine Terrasse zum Sonnen oder Lesen oder Nickerchen. Schöner Garten und tolle Nachbarn. Platz für Hufeisen, Krocket oder andere Rasenspiele. Es gibt eine Feuerstelle zum Genießen, wenn das Wetter abkühlt. Das Hotel liegt an der 448 South Street und ist ca. 1,5 Blocks von der Marina entfernt, wo Sie Wasserfahrzeuge mieten können. Hattie Sherwood Beach ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Hütte entfernt.

Wonderful home and host. Had an issue regarding noise from a tree being cut down during our stay however JoEllen resolved it to our satisfaction. It was a little buggy at night which is to be expected being near a pond. House well stocked and thoughtful welcome gifts. Fire pit on deck was very nice as well. Very close to town which is very quaint.

Our family of ten very much enjoyed our weekend at Back Pond Cottage. We have been here several times now and always look forward to returning for a great time together at JoEllen's lovely home that is perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the great room, a wonderful place to gather and visit with its cozy fireplace and sunny windows with a view of the lake. The front porch and decks are great for morning coffee and evening relaxing. The updated kitchen is furnished with anything you could want for cooking, baking and grilling. The large table provides ample space for meals together, even a birthday celebration. Our grandchildren enjoy the board games and the yard.
The quiet location is just a few minutes walk to town for restaurants, shopping, ice cream, and the marina.
I think our grandson's comment sums it up perfectly, "It was fun but not long enough".

8 of stayed at this property and played golf for a couple days at Lawsonia. The house slept 8 comfortably and the owner was very easy to work with.

This was our fourth year staying at the BPC with our family - 6 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 4. It’s always clean and comfy with a great location in downtown Green Lake - near the water, marina, shopping and restaurants. Jo Ellen is a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay in Green Lake! The house was beautiful and just what we needed for a fun, relaxing girls trip. Jo Ellen was a wonderful host, checking in and bringing us candles when the power when there was a storm and the power went out all over town. I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage for your next vacation!

My siblings and I had a wonderful stay at this absolutely beautiful cottage. Meticulously maintained landscaping outside and thoughtful touches inside (creative welcome items, labels on the light switches & drawers, checkout list) made staying here comfortable (with everything we possibly needed) and reiterated just why this property has so many fabulous reviews. Tucked neatly back, it's proximity (walkability) to Downtown Green Lake and all it offers, is unbeatable. The highlight of this property was the large, well appointed deck with amazing sunset views of Green Lake. The smart and spacious layout of the home allowed for both large group gathering spots (the open kitchen/family/dining room) as well as cozy, private nooks for enjoying solitude. As a frequent visitor to Green Lake, I have long admired this property and it was wonderful to finally be able to stay and experience it firsthand. Thank you Jo Ellen for sharing your beautiful home with us. Our stay here was truly a taste of "The Good Life".

We brought our 2 teen boys and their friends for a 4th of July vacation and this was the perfect lake-side venue. Plenty of space for the 6 of us to enjoy the deck, grill, water side view of the fire woks and convenient access to downtown and marina. Great Space for group activities but also plenty of rooms to find your own nook for respite. Beautiful, clean, cottage decor and perfect location and access to the lake.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Back Pond Cottage Guest House. The house is immaculate, and we appreciate the care and attention that Jo Ellen has taken to provide a welcoming atmosphere. The house has everything you could ask for in a home away from home whether in kitchen furnishings, games, videos, or books.
The great room was a perfect place for all of us to gather as a group for meals and conversation, but there are also several places for quiet or private time.
We enjoyed the close to town location that allowed us to walk to town shops, restaurants, parks, and marina. We look forward to returning next year.

Family Wedding
My husband and I rented this home for us and our three adult children along with their partners and our one year old grandson. The home is located on a quiet street and is very welcoming and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of room for us to gather together, and everyone had a nice private space too. We enjoyed time outside on the deck, by the fire, and walking into town. It’s conveniently close to food, shopping and the marina. We would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect lake getaway house for families
This was our third stay at the Back Pond Cottage and we can't wait to return. The home is clean and cozy and the layout is ideal for multiple families. We had five adults and two kiddos, ages 7 and 3. Lots of toys, games, and a cute reading nook for the kids. Large kitchen with dining table, plus outdoor dining, seating, and a fire table. (Don't forget the bug spray!) The home is a block from downtown Green Lake shops, restaurants and the marina. The owner Jo Ellen lives nearby and is so helpful - we stayed over Fourth of July weekend and she let us know what activities to check out. My family has visited Green Lake for many, many years and this home has been a fave find - we love it!

Fantastic house in a cute town with beautiful lake nearby
We had a wonderful family gathering at Jo Ellen's guesthouse. The house was super comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We had 9 people including 3 kids and everyone had a comfortable sleeping arrangement. The porch was lovely with a great view of the "back pond." We enjoyed the lovely yard and garden including the wood fire pit and outdoor gas fire circle on the porch. We also used the gas grill to cook several meals. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, appliances, serving dishes, etc. You can tell the owners and caretakers take great pride in their property. Our family has a great stay and are hoping to stay again.

Of the water was perfect! One little hiccup when the water wasn’t turned on when we arrived but the caretaker came and fixed it promptly! Plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy. Jo Ellen was a dream to work with!

A great home away from home
This is the third time that our multi-generational family has stayed at this amazing home, and each time we appreciate and enjoy it as much or more than the time before. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, yet within convenient walking distance to the shops, restaurants, events, and marina in town. The lovely view of the lake adds to the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We especially appreciate the large space for gathering as a group as well as more tranquil spaces for peaceful enjoyment. Jo Ellen has provided a beautiful and immaculate home furnished with anything you could wish for. This year she has added new appliances to the kitchen and a great gas firepit to the deck. She is a kind and accommodating host who is great to work with. We all look forward to returning next year.

The home was amazing with nice views of the lake, plenty of space to spread out if need be and close to lots of fun things :) I would definitely book this place again and again.

The house fit our two families very comfortably, and it felt like we were truly staying in a friend's well-cared-for home (welcome basket and all, thank you!) The house was clean, well stocked and the beds/pillows/sheets were all comfortable! We'll be back!
