Unsere komplett eingerichtete Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer, kostenlosem WLAN und 1 Badezimmer befindet sich in günstiger Lage im Kicking Horse-Skigebiet mit direktem Pistenzugang. Diese geräumige Unterkunft bietet ein Queensize-Bett in einem privaten Schlafzimmer sowie eine ausziehbare Doppelcouch im Wohnbereich für zusätzliche Gäste. Jeder Raum ist temperiert und verfügt über einen eigenen Thermostat. Ein privater Waschraum steht in der Unterkunft zur Verfügung und bietet viel zusätzlichen Stauraum. Ein regelmäßig gewarteter privater Whirlpool auf unserer Terrasse bietet bequem Platz für 4 Personen und verfügt über ein Hebesystem, das den Zugang erleichtert. Ein Grill steht auch zu jeder Jahreszeit zur Verfügung - nichts ist besser als ein leckeres Steak und ein Glas Wein nach einem ereignisreichen Tag auf dem Hügel! Das Gerät bietet schlüssellosen Zugang, eine unterirdische beheizte Trennwand in einem privaten, ruhigen Gebäude mit insgesamt 5 Einheiten. Während es in der freien Natur viel zu entdecken gibt, bietet das Gerät Apple-TV für regnerische Tage oder entspannende Abende. Der Reinigungsservice sorgt dafür, dass Ihr Aufenthalt zu einem erholsamen Urlaub wird.

The neighbourhood was remarkably quiet, and the condo was clean and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for a summer long weekend. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with.
There were a couple quirks. The front door lock was a little finicky, so make sure the door is locked before leaving. We also could not get the garage door to work from the outside, so we used the garage side door to go in and hit the button. The garage side door was left unlocked the whole time by others going in/out, so we assumed this was normal. Also note, the garage spot is pretty tight and may not be accessible if there are other cars parked in there — but there was plenty of street parking available and the area seems safe.
All in all, it's a great place and I look forward to coming back.

We love this condo so much we have stayed here 5 times! It’s a great place for a couple. Everything you need for a ski holiday. Sadly missed having the hot tub as it’s under repair. Hope it will be up and running for our next visit. Till next time.

Cozy little place for a ski getaway. Can fit up to 2 couples, but might be pretty tight for 4 adults, was just right for 2 guys. Well equipped kitchen, Weber grill, plenty of dishes and cups. True ski in, ski out required walking a bit.
Will definitely consider returning.

We used this condo as a base to visit all the surrounding National Parks. We had a wonderful time hiking Yoho and many other great parks in the area. Condo was clean and has all the necessities.

Everything was as listed. The condo was very clean and well cared for. Golden was a good central location for the exploring we wanted to do and for avoiding the more expensive and busier Banff/Lake Louise area. The 20-30 minute drive from Golden to the condo was the trade-off for finding one of the lower cost condos in the area.

Very clean property and in the best location on the mountain . The amenities in the condo were above expectations if you like to cook. Which we do , so this helped make our stay that much better . It was a quiet location as well. Would recommend this propert in the Aspens .

This cabin was a great, cozy place to rest after hiking! We really loved getting to use the hot tub and the grill in the evenings and playing a game of cribbage. The views from the cabin and Kicking Horse were fantastic and we really enjoyed watching the sunsets.

Quick trip to the mountains
We came to go rafting and get away for a few days. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. Private deck. Nice hot tub. An awning or umbrella on the deck would be nice, as you can't escape the sun in the afternoon. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Why we gave 4* for accuracy of online listing?
property was listed as ski-in ski-out, however in our opinion there is approx 350m to ski lift, it is not bad in the morning walking downhill but after 4 to 6 h of skiing walking up hill in ski boots is not advisable for seniors after 70. Otherwise no complaints. we love jacuzzi. Very well equipped kitchen, spare sheets and towels. Garage is good for smaller cars, for bigger one SUV type, you need assistance but always you can park in the front of condo. This is what we did. No problem. we enjoyed it. Recommended for 2 or 3 adults.

Perfect place for our ski trip. Great location. Quiet. Loved the hot tub after a day of skiing. Floors weren’t very clean. But everything else was. Well stocked kitchen. Curtain in the bedroom was a bit of a fire hazard. Overall loved it and would stay there again

Our 4th stay!
We love Kicking Horse and love staying in this condo! It is perfect accommodation for a couple with lots of space for ski gear, hot tub, bbq and convenient ski in (only 100m walk to a path) and out. We will be back!

Mountain Escape
This property is everything it says: quiet, clean, comfortable., great location — only a short ski down to the gondola , all amenities one would need or want to cook and stay safe during these crazy Covid times. The hot tub, bbq, washer dryer and fireplace are all fantastic too!

Overall a nice place to say
Good accommodations overall, could use some very basic maintenance updates as previous renters have mentioned.
3’+ of snow covering the entire deck, made getting to the bbq difficult. No shovel available to make a path. Walking around, it was the only deck I could find that was in such poor shape in the whole area.
Good location, hot tub is nice after a day on the hill. A quick 5 minute walk to the gondola. Was surprisingly quiet during our stay which was nice.
Yea garage parking is tight but no problems parking a full size SUV.

Rocky Mountain Vacation Fall 2021
We had an amazing vacation which included a 4 night stay at Terry's condo. The place was even better than posted on the VRBO site. Everything we needed was there, easy directions to follow and amazing views. The owner was very accommodating and we would definitely recommend this place to stay at.

Perfect!
So simple to ski to from the hill and from the condo down to the lift. The hot tub does wonders to kill the aches and pains that typically impact days 2 and 3! Try 3 - 4 runs in the morning before the Gondola gets a line up, then take a few hours to enjoy the Nordic Center and then a few downhill runs at the end of the day when the Gondola is wide open again - fabulous.

Feel like home
We had a really good stay. The place is clean and cozy. Kids were happy to have their own bed as the 2 couches can pull out. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Thank you !

Mountain top getaway
This is the second time we have stayed at Terry and Mavis' place and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The place was spotless and well appointed with everything from toiletries and towels to coffee for the morning. The cherry on top is the hot tub which was heavenly relief for our tired bodies after long days exploring the incredible outdoors in the golden area. We will be back.

Great location for a base. Short drive to town, walking, hiking and biking trails. As previous reviews mentioned there are some minor maintenance items (peeling laminate counters etc) but nothing that affects your stay!
