We stayed 5 nights, it was relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. Michael is very good at communication. He is always responsible my questions promptly. Love his swimming spa, we used almost every night.

Great vacation getaway
The rental is amazing. All the great amenities in rental and then some. Great ocean view. Centrally located so you are just a couple of miles from Capitola and Santa Cruz. Sea Cliff beach is beautiful. The communication with the owner was great. He made everything so easy and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for another vacation stay.

This place was very clean and comfortable. Great location, within walking distance of a beach, and a quick drive to other fun spots. The owner was very friendly and good with communication. The house is well stocked. The swim spa was really nice!

This property is one of a kind that I believe everybody should experience at one point during their adventures in this beautiful state of California! My family and I love the kitchen and how well stocked everything is and it makes cooking together as a family of very enjoyable experience!
The grounds put this property above and beyond any others! The swim spa is so therapeutic and relaxing at the end of the day that my brother and sister-in-law are planning to purchase one now!

This house in Aptos was just the right size and configuration for the four of us, with a master bedroom and the living areas all on one floor. One of our party has mobility problems, so we gave him and his wife the master suite while the two of us took the downstairs bedroom, bathroom and study. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we were able to cook meals without having to buy any extra kitchen gear, or sauces and spices, for that matter. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, about 3miles from Capitola and 10 from Santa Cruz, and has a good supermarket withing a five minute drive. Also two good restaurants, Sanderlings at the Seascape Resort, and Palapas, a Mexican restaurant, across the street from the Seascape. Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will return at some point...

Great home!
This was a great home base for a young family. We enjoyed beach time (go to rio Del Mar state beach. Close and kid friendly), went to the boardwalk, did roaring camp train park, and even did a day in Monterey! This was a great central location for anything we wanted to do. The house was super clean, had everything we could have needed, and the swim spa was an awesome way to unwind after busy, fun-filled days. Thanks for the fun family memories!

A Gem!
Michael's home was just as described and the location was perfect for our little family getaway! He has a spectacular view from the moment you step into his home and the place was spotless! His kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking, including oils, spices, etc. He even has foil, Ziploc baggies, and all those extras that other properties sometimes lack. His appliances are top of the line, too! We enjoyed opening up the sliding glass door in the dining/living room area, to enjoy the nice breeze. The showers had wonderful pressure, the furniture and beds were all comfortable, and having the swim spa was such an added bonus! Michael is a man after my own heart, with having everything labeled and clearly organized to make it easy to know where things are located and how he would like things left when it was time to check-out. He truly cares about his home and wants his guests to care also, which is admirable. Talking with him on the phone was pleasant and he was so informative about a very lovely beach that was just down the hill from his home. My sister, kids, and I had the most wonderful beach day at this beach and it seriously only took us 3 minutes to get there in our car from his driveway! We would definitely stay at Michael's lovely home again!

Very well stocked and comfortable
This house was a great base from which to explore. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with both pantry items, condiments and small appliances. The owner’s directions were very clear, and the swim spa (think Michael Phelps) was pretty fun. (I wish I’d brought a kick board!)

As expected
We got immediate confirmation, checkin was a breeze, owner responsive with questions. House was clean, location was 20 min walk to the local beach. The hot tub was great. Lovely place for a staycation!
Amazing experience! This property was our home away from home for a few days in February when my kids and I decided that we needed a staycation. The house is even better in person! It was very bright, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything we needed. I cooked the whole time I was there and I'm not even someone who is very fond of cooking! :) The bathrooms were very clean and had convenient hand-held shower heads with great water pressure. Plenty of entertainment both inside (smart TVs) and outside (two levels of outdoor space/decks and the garden and swim spa were spectacular!) the house. We also had a great time hiking at Nisene state park and visiting nearby beaches (try Hidden Beach Park: kids can play at the play structure and then you can walk down the path right to the beach). Michael, the home owner, is very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great staycation in Aptos!

Awesome house with beautiful garden and spa
We planned this stay-cation to get away a little. This beautiful house did not disappoint. There is a beautiful garden (perfect for meditation) and a spa which kids enjoyed a lot. The house is tastefully decorated. The upstairs deck/kitchen/drawing room was perfect for me and my hunby to hang out and kids had fun having the whole lower floor to themselves. Beach is less than a mile away and is a nice walk.

Wonderful weekend in Aptos
Michael's home is wonderful, clean and welcoming. There was enough space in the house for our family of 4. The kitchen is very well stocked. We spent most of Saturday hanging out at the house. Hot tub is very large and very clean. Both days my wife and I ran to the beach, a mile away. Very nice neighborhood with groceries and take-out places close by.

Romantic and relaxing getaway
Beautiful house in Aptos with great deck, large hot tub, and inviting garden. Easy access to beach and redwoods. Michael was wonderful to work with, and very reassuring to rent from during COVID. We had to stay inside the last day due to smoke from nearby fires, and felt lucky to have such a lovely shelter. Could easily have accommodated a other couple or our college age children, but appreciated the time to ourselves. Highly recommended.

Amazing Weekend getaway
This home was lovely. The location was perfect (.8 miles from “Beer Can Beach” and 2 miles from aril Del Mar beach).
The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The towels were clean and smelled great. As did the linens, and extra pillows. The home itself was beautiful, airy and very organized. It was cozy and It was like being in our own home. The beach theme/vibe extended throughout the entire home. Our daughter loved the garden and swim spa.
Michael, the home owner, was friendly and was Amazing to communicate with. Whenever we had a question, he responded within the same day, if not with the hour of our inquiry. He was as warm and friendly as his home.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Aptos/Rio Del Mar.
