Surfside Beacon - Studio apt. upstairs
Im Obergeschoss Studio-Apartment - 4 Personen max - Kein Aufzug. (muss 25 sein, um zu mieten). Kingsize-Bett, Queensize-Schlafsofa, Wet-Bar-Küche (Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Spülbecken, Geschirr usw.) in der ruhigen Nordostbiegung von Tybee Island, nur 200 Fuß über die Straße zur Strandpromenade - Schöner Strand mit gutem Angeln und Schwimmen - Tybee ist eine großartige Community für Radfahrer. (Die ganze Insel ist nur 5 km mal 1,5 km groß.) The Island bietet jedoch einen erschwinglichen Golfwagen- und Autotaxiservice für 3 USD pro Person auf der ganzen Insel. Wir sind ein lokal geführtes und familiengeführtes Unternehmen. Unser Mietobjekt befindet sich direkt nach der 2. Ampel ein paar Häuser hinter der Zuckerhütte auf der linken Seite. Wir sind auch zu Fuß zum Sundae Cafe, dem besten Restaurant der Insel zum Mittag- und Abendessen! Andere Restaurants, Geldautomaten, Apotheke, Tankstelle, XYZ-Laden, Geschäfte, Wäschematte, Friseursalon & Tybee Post Theater nur 1/2 bis 1 1/2 Block. Der Leuchtturm und das Museum sind nur wenige Blocks entfernt. Kommen Sie zu uns und genießen Sie unsere Außenterrassen, Grills, Corn Holes und den Tiki-Loungebereich. Wir haben auch eine Außendusche.

Nice place, with a well-prepared kitchenette. Five minutes' walk to the beach. Good food nearby. Loved it!

I'll start this off with, I am not a "beach person", but this trip was to introduce my twins to the beach for the first time to see how they liked it. We had a BLAST! A big part of that great time was due to the great accommodations at Surfside Beacon, especially its distance from the beach. Pat was great to communicate with, and the studio itself is super cozy. They even let me add my younger brother to the reservation pretty last minute with no hassle, so I'm really hoping we can go back next year to stay again.

Excellent overall. Close to the beach and shops. Quiet street. House is well represented in the photos. Only 2 minor quips: 1) wifi was in and out intermittently, and 2) the separation between the bathroom and sleeping area is not a real wall, so sound travels :). Not a big deal, but you better know and like the people you're traveling with!

Location couldn't be closer to the beach, and the outdoor shower meant no sand once we got back home!! Huge plus! Clean property. Sugar shack literally a 1 min walk. Def will be back!

Great location, easy access to the beach , quiet, perfect for the two of us. Would have liked a balcony area out front to sit on in the mornings for coffee, but great little set up. Bed was very comfortable and the AC worked GREAT!!!

We enjoyed our rental with a few buts; the bed wasn’t comfortable, the bathroom sink doesn’t drain, there are more than 10 stairs and the toilet doesn’t flush properly. It’s a more dated property but was clean and the owners very pleasant.

Great. One barefoot block to a boardwalk to the beach. North Bach Bar & Grill a short walk away also. Beach is quiet, great for swimming. Property comfy, well-stocked kitchen, nice bathroom & shower, comfy bed. Plenty roomy. Loved it!!!

We had a beautiful time in a wonderful spot. Loved it- the tiki shower and corn hole game added to it but nothing beats the closeness to the beach, palm trees and locusts to chase every worry from your mind!!

Short getaway
This was our 1st trip to Tybee Island. What a beautiful little town and beach. We had a studio apartment which was perfect for 2 people. It had all the amenities needed, sheets, towels, paper towels, day shower washing soap. Will be going back. It was perfect.

My husband and I loved the location - just a short 2 minute walk to the beach, and also close to restaurants and shops. The rental was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The efficiency kitchen was well equipped, and just perfect! Would definitely stay again.

Fun place to stay
This place was in a great location and very clean. It has a fun beach vibe decor and perfect size. From the place there is a beach access within a block, and the neighborhood was fun to explore. It is also a very short drive to other beach access points and places to eat.

Weekend Getaway
We love Tybee Island. But our time off from our busy jobs kept getting changed. When the dates were finally settled we had less than a week to find a place to stay. We did not want a hotel and we wanted to be able to walk to the beach. This location was available and the owners were very responsive so our plans came together quickly and everything was just as they said it would be.

Well-equipped studio
The Beacon had everything we needed. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen for a studio. Need better access to outlet by the bed - an extension cord extending to each side of the bed would be nice for things like phone chargers a and CPAPs.

Great studio unit. Really close to the beach. Only downside was the space between the bed and frig was too narrow and the lack of outlets next to bed. Flipping the bed area with the living room area would be a easy fix.

Visiting Tybee Island for the first time we wanted the best experience. Found this beautiful studio apartment online & the price was very reasonable so we booked it! Everything went extremely smooth & all the information we needed & more was provided by the Solomon family. They were truly kind & welcoming! The place is clean & cozy & really is 200ft from the beach & has an excellent front view! Loved it & would definitely rent this place again!

Excellent stay
As a last minute stay, the studio was just what we needed for the weekend and not even expensive at all. Close to everything and the host had quick responses. I definitely recommend staying here.
