Ekahi is our favourite place to stay in Wailea/Kihei; beautiful property, nice amenities and direct beach access. This unit is located close to the beach so minimal climbing (many units are a steep uphill climb). It is large and well laid out, lots of windows for light and air flow (some ground floor units are a little dark). It has everything you want for the beach: boogie boards, chairs, a wagon, big big beach towels. The kitchen is well appointed too. It’s a ground floor unit so sunrise and sunset require a walk to the beachfront pool area. Owner is super quick to respond. It’s not the most updated unit but everything else is excellent

This place is a little slice of heaven that exceeded all the hopes we built up in advance of our annual family vacation. John is an attentive owner that really took care of us before, during, and after our trip. It's a spacious condo with a WELL-equipped kitchen and an enclosed patio that overlooks and accesses a big, quiet tropical garden. Be aware that the bbq grill is gone due to a site-wide ban, but I enjoyed using the community grills at the main pool -- it's a great place to bring drinks, grill, and enjoy the sunset. The location overall is incredible. It's right at Keawakapu Beach, which we learned is a locals favorite because it's chill and apart from the tourist resorts. We loved it because the backdrop is a bit wilder, mostly picturesque rocks and palm trees with no big hotel looming over it. Keawakapu is also just one beach up from the start of the gorgeous coastal boardwalk. Over and over, we kept finding new things to love about staying in this particular unit at this particular complex.

Perfect! Would 100% stay here again. Maybe 2 minute walk to pool and beach. Morning coffee walks on the beach and Wailea beach path chatting with my wife while our teenage boys played in the tide pools and surf. Same in the evening except with Mai Tais. No one wanted to leave.

Ekahi is a great place to stay. Quiet and beautiful grounds. Close to the pool. We’ve stayed at many condos in ekahi and always enjoy it.

Awesome location and supplies. Was great place to relax with a little baby and pop over to the beach and pool when she was awake. Would definitely stay in again.

We just came home from the best week ever. We were so impressed with this unit! The proximity to the pool and beach cannot be beat. Not to mention its an easy walk to the Shops at Wailea if you need ice cream in the afternoon! The unit comes well stocked with everything you could need, including items left by previous guests which were really a blessing (not having to go out to buy a bottle of Aloe for our sunburns!) Any beach item imaginable was there for our use as well. My kids loved the boogie boards and snorkel gear and the adults loved the beach chairs and umbrella. The beach towels were also very big and high quality. It made it so easy for us to just pack clothes in carry-ons and not worry about bringing the other items. The owners were great and responsive - we have already booked a week for next year and can't wait to come back!

We had a great 8 night stay in this wonderful unit. It’s so close to the beach and had an amazing amount of beach chairs, toys, boogie boards etc for our use. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and is a close (15 min) walk to shopping, bars and restaurants. The owners were easy to work with and we hope to rent this unit again in the future. We have been coming to Maui every year for 15+ years and this is our 4th stay at Ekahi. We love it every time and even more so now that the new pool pavilion is complete!

This 1st floor condo in Ekahi Village was located truly just a short walk to the pain pool/beach easily accessible from the steps of the lanai off the kitchen. The grounds within the secluded village had landscaping that was well manicured with bright foliage and clean public facilities. The main pavilion was the perfect place to have a meal and drink our favorite beverage while watching the sunset. It had plenty of tables and seating, a full kitchen, ice maker and 3 grills for visitor use. The main pool was very clean and a good size for adults and children alike. Access to the beach was also in close proximity from the pavilion and pool. Walking the shores on the beach in the morning gave you nice views of the beautiful oceanfront homes as well as adjacent resorts. But the sunset walks are breathtaking! (NOTE: The waters are not very calm on this side of Maui due to high winds. They are calm before 10:30am though. We were there at the end of July to early Aug. so not sure if the season had anything to do with that. Lahaina and Kanaapali had calmer waters.) Ekahi Village is located within what I would consider an upscale "suburb" of Maui and had some really delicious places to eat in Kihea and Wailea. The unit itself was a little tight for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a tweener) but we knew that ahead of time and we made it work. Definitely ideal for 2-4 people. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you need to prepare meals from the appliances, server ware, drink ware, spices, condiments, and even containers for leftovers. There was an ample supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper and kitchen cleaning supplies. They provided 4 laundry pods but plan on using 1-2 for the towels they require you to wash prior to your departure. One of the biggest things we really appreciated was that they had ALL the necessary items you would need to play at the beach or pool (chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler, snorkels (although we actually brought our own), towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc). Lastly, John and Mike were very easy to reach and promptly responded whenever I had questions. I would definitely recommend this place and have friends already wanting to go there.

Everything about this condo and Ehaki Village is perfect! We were with a group of 40 who each had their own condo. This unit was closest to the wonderful Pavillion, pool & beach :)

We had a wonderful time. The unit was very clean and close to the pool and ocean. The owners were always available and prompt with their communication. We would definitely stay there again.

This unit is very well equipped and I didn't find anything lacking. There is a large assortment and quantity of beach and ocean gear available. It is very convenient to the pool and beach access. The grounds of this complex are lovely and it is worth spending time just wandering around and appreciating the variety of trees and flowering plants. It is a a short walk (less than a mile) to groceries and supplies in the Wailea Shops.

The condo was just as advertised. Close to the beach, clean and had everything we needed for our stay! One of the best rentals in the eight years we have been staying at Ekahi. Look forward to our next visit to Ekahi!!

Great condo! Really enjoyed our stay. Host was helpful and responsive, location was great.

My wife and I wanted some family time with our 14 and 12 year old and this place was perfect. The unit was was big enough for the four of us and was only a 50 yard walk to the pool and beach which was a beautiful flat, sand beach safe for toddlers or fun for teens who could enjoy the waves. . The unit also looked out onto a greenbelt so it felt quite private. It is near the north end of the Wailea beach trail so we could go for runs or walks along the beach in front of the fancy hotels. Trail is about 2 miles long so plenty for my workout. The unit also came stocked with beach gear. There were nice boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler & ice packs and even a cart to haul it all in. We could snorkel right in front of the complex and saw turtles, tons of fish, and even two small rays. I like that this place is between Wailea and Kihei, so we could choose whether to eat at fancy places, or some of the really tasty less expensive places in Kihei. Overall this was one of the easiest, turn key rent experiences we have had. Really appreciate the well stocked condo & info provided by owners. We will be back!

Nice place and good location. The only thing was that it was not ocean view but i knew that before from another review. We stayed at a couple of 4.5 star hotels at two other islands and this was by the most comfortable because it left like home.

Love this place, we have stayed here twice now. The owners are super nice, the condo is fabulous and the grounds are stunning. The condo comes with all you need, chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, umbrella, you name it, it's probably there for you to use. It's a very short walk to the pool and beach.

This comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated condo is close to pool and beach. We especially appreciated the available beach equipment; chairs, snorkel gear, towels. The owners were very easy and pleasant to deal with. The only reason this is not a five star is that there is no ocean view. The lanai is nice and overlooks a grassy planted area. We chose this over some other units with views because of the competitive rate and the promise in the photos of the availability of beach toys. We loved our stay in this condo! Our family had such a great time and hope to return annually. The condo had everything that we needed & more --including a bunch of kids items which was very helpful -- and all the household stuff felt like quality items (not just things for a rental). Very quick walk to the pool or beach and the beaches out front are beautiful. The owners are really nice and easy to communicate with as needed. I would highly recommend choosing this unit for your Maui vacation!

we loved this condo . it met all our needs. everything was first class and high quality . the kitchen was fully equipped. the sheets and towels were luxurious . beach and pool were very close to the condo. Our experience was so good we are renting the condo next year.

As described by other reviewers, this is an excellent, clean, well cared for and well stocked unit, located near the pool and beach, in a beautiful complex. The owners were helpful and left wonderful instructions and suggestions. While they have supplied everything you could think of for the beach, my one suggestion would be a lounge chair for the lanai or just to sit in the shade outside the unit (there are lots of loungers by the pools). We loved the location near the beach walk and loved walking on this wonderful beach. You are also within walking distance of the shopping and restaurants in Wailea and a short drive to shops, restaurants and grocery stores in Kihei.

What a lovely location for a quiet week of swimming, walking and reading - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with the accommodations. The grounds are beautiful, pool area well maintained, with easy accessibility to the beach. We WILL return to Ekahi Village!

My wife and kids had the best time swimming in the pool and snorkeling at the beach!! Every thing was a short 2 minute walk from the condo. We had the time of our life there!!!!! Cant wait to go back.

My husband and I spent nine days here on our first trip to Maui and could not have asked for more. The condo's location and amenities were exactly as described in the listing. There was actually more than I expected in the way of stocked supplies necessary for a weeks stay. The owners, John and Mike were wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions with quick replies full of useful information. I think one of the best surprises was that we were so close to the main pool, the beach and a quiet pool too. The beach is a great place to snorkel, full of fish and sea turtles too. This is a true home away from home that we would love to return too. I will highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Maui.
