Loved the condo❤️

We are frequent visitors to Maui and decided to book at the Honua Kai for a new experience! We found Cat and Ken's condo, booked it and we are so glad that we did! Cat is an incredible host and is so accessible and helpful in every way! Matt, her manager, was there to greet us with lei's and gave us a tour of the resort before taking us up to the unit. The condo itself is beautiful, immaculate and so homey. Matt showed us how things worked and answered any questions we had before leaving. Cat has thought of everything, even chocolates and coffee, and the unit was well stocked plus we loved having the beach chairs and umbrella. The kitchen was terrific as well, with all we could need for cooking in when we wanted to. The view is lovely across the courtyard to the ocean. We enjoyed the quiet pool and the beach the most but there are a lot of pools on the property to choose from. The location is great with food trucks and a grocery store right across the street plus a beach walk that extends from the resort all of the way south to the Hyatt resort. Duke's restaurant is on site and is excellent! Also, there are a number of others close by. Parking was never an issue for us but valet is available if desired. Mahalo Cat and Ken! First time in Hawaii for my wife and I and I am so happy I found this vrbo for our trip. It was clean, beautiful, and elegant. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this unit at Honua Kai. It was very well equipped, and they even had coffee and chocolates for us. Very nice touches! We can't wait to return to Maui, and rent this same unit.

Clean, nicely decorated unit with great view. Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella for use. Easy check-in and check-out process and owner was very responsive to questions. Thank you for a great stay!

This is our third visit to the Honua Kai resort. Our unit was perfect for the 2 of us: beautiful kitchen, spacious lanai, and really comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

This place was awesome! Super spacious, clean, modern, great lanai, perfect location with lots of fun stuff within walking distance, hope to be back soon!

Beautiful views. Unit has large patio doors which allow you to enjoy the tropical breezes day and night. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Grocery store, food trucks and car rental within a few blocks.

Very nice. Clean. Enjoyed having beach chairs. Underground parking always full so plan to use valet. The staff at this resort were so unhelpful and unfriendly, although Matt our Vrbo liaison was great. Dukes was wonderful. Close to golf, shopping. Whale watching, beach, sunsets were fantastic!

Freezer did not work. In room safe's did not work. Major Parking issues resulting in no place to park. Building personnel said there are only 300 parking spots to support 600 units. Not enough elevators. Had long waits to get up / down the elevators. Elevators broke several times during our stay. Location was great but not worth it considering all the other issues.

A gem of a property! Loved the easy access to the resort pools and beach. Having Duke’s on a property is a bonus. Having a full kitchen and the washer and dryer were a huge plus! Boogie boards and beach chairs were a nice unexpected amenity. Thanks so much for a wonderful week.

This studio was perfectly located with nice, clean facilities near the beach, pools, and Duke's restaurant. Communication and check in was easy, even despite my flight being delayed to the middle of the night. Easy parking available and there's a little convenience market inside the resort. The room had everything you could need in the kitchen and there were beach chairs, towels, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

We were exceedingly pleased with the property and the Honua Kai Konea and the unit we stayed in. It was clean, well equipped, and pleasant. Pool area was not overly crowded and it's proximity to Duke's and to nearby grocery shopping was excellent. We were also close to our favorite restaurants so it worked out well.

This property was incredible. We booked for here for a resort feel but without the astronomical resort prices of Maui. Matt greeted us when we arrived. He was so nice and knowledgeable. He gave us flower leis upon arrival. Not necessary but so nice especially for our honeymoon. This studio was very clean, easy to get to and perfect for the two of us. It was just as advertised. The balcony and retracting doors were great to have and relax on when we didn’t want to socialize. There were a good amount of families at this location. This personally did not bother us since we spent most of our time exploring the island. When we did stay on site, we had no problem finding a spot by the “quiet pool.” Dukes is the restaurant on site. HIGHLY recommend going for dinner. We did not have reservations but finding a spot at the bar was easy. This location was a 10min Uber to Whalers Village. Or about a 30minute walk down what is called the Beach Walk. The beach walk access was so nice. Similar to side walk but on the edge of the beach. Parking was easy as well.

All the reviews are completely accurate. This is an amazing place for a couple. We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary and used Cat’s place as our home base. It was everything we needed and more. The condo is beautiful and clean. The area is a fantastic location. Don’t wait just book this gem. Honua Kai gives you a resort style vacation!

The sunsets from the unit are breathtaking and the pool is huge! We could see Turtles and fish snorkeling right off the beach. Location was perfect between a food truck lot, grocery store, and dukes and the spa are right in the building. Unit was very clean, great accessible shower, and hosts were very helpful and responsive! Would stay here again, 10/10!

I have stayed at many of the resorts on Maui and we truly enjoyed our week at Honua Kai. There were choices of pools, the grounds were beautiful, the service was great! We will stay here again!

Lovely place, just as advertised. Comfy bed and fluffy white towels. Hope to be back again soon!

Host and greeter were extremely friendly and helpful during stay. Property is just as described and beautiful! The location is perfect! The fresh leis, fresh coconut, and local coffee were great adds to make us feel special!
