Lovely suite, beautiful furnishings and fixtures, all the cooking tools and supplies you could possibly want. It's clear that the owner put a lot of thought and care into setting up the unit; it is much much nicer than a hotel room and less expensive too. Best for 1-2 people. We appreciated the new air conditioner in the living area but needed to use the fan in the bedroom during the (unusual for San Diego) heat wave.

The location was great. Close to a hiking trail head and close to family we were visiting. There was plenty of stores and restaurants close by. The beach was a very short drive. I thought since it was so close to I-5 there would be road noise, but we didn't any any inside, and very little outside. I'd stay here the next time I visit San Diego.

Really enjoyed my stay in this well appointed granny flat. Bedroom is good sized, and the bathroom is all travertine with a nice skylight. Bathroom is at the other end of the hall from living space, which provides good separation. Living room is a good size, and kitchen had everything I needed for my stay. Would stay here again.

Host was very nice and always responded quicky. The place was perfect for my wife and I. Very, very clean. Everything was in excellent condition and working. Very quiet street. Great location, near walking and biking trails and a shopping center. Fast internet and cable with lots of channels. Everything was just as nice as the pictures if not better. Furniture and decor were comfortable and attractive, and unit was appropriately supplied and outfitted with some new appliances. Everything was in excellent repair, and Vicki promptly responded to our messages.

We had a great two-week stay at the attractive Cozy Suite which is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, but near shops and restaurants. Although the kitchen is small (a kitchenette), it had several options for cooking . We found everything we needed to make decent meals. We would be happy to return for another visit.

A lovely suite in a quiet neighbourhood. The suite is attached to the main house, but with a separate entrance and lots of privacy. The kitchenette is equipped for preparing a small meal. Bedlinen was changed on request.

Great accommodation!
We had a wonderful stay here! The property is conveniently located to the Interstate, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, etc. The suite was spotless and very well equipped. Vicki has thought of so many small details to outfit the kitchenette, the bath, and sitting room. The suite is bright and very quiet. It was the perfect size for my wife and I. We could have easily and comfortably stayed here much longer. Vicki was very accommodating when we had a slight change to our travel plans and very responsive to all communication. We will certainly try to stay here again the next time we're in Solana Beach. Definitely recommend this suite.

An excellent return visit for us!
The Cozy Suite is a terrific choice for 1-2 people. Lovely neighborhood, close to all shopping needs, restaurants and THE OCEAN! The apartment is cozy, nicely decorated, well supplied with essentials and very clean. Vicki is very responsive to renters' needs. She does a great job making sure everything is taken care of so that you will have a pleasant, comfortable stay. (If you stay long enough to need to wash clothes, you will need to take care of that outside the apartment.)

Excellent Host and Great Loaction
Vicki is very responsive to requests, respectful and an excellent host. The unit is attached to the house but separate and allows for privacy. The location is very close to beach and hiking paths. We really enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed the local beaches and hiking around the lagoon.

Quiet, cozy, and certainly cute
I stayed in the Cozy Suite for almost a month and had an amazing space to work while being close to all the nature SoCal has to offer. The suite is very quiet, has a very comfortable, large bed, and plenty of closet space. The Internet for my purposes (lots of video meetings and many tabs open at the same time) was a little slow. Vicki has an extension network hooked up, but it's still not the best. That said, I was able to work without real issue, just slight wait times for loading. Vicki is a lovely person that was always responsive right away with anything I needed; she even took some packages I had delivered over the Holidays into my space for me. The electric frying pan is very useful despite no stove/oven. There is also a small blender that I loved for smoothies. Shower has great water pressure and the overall apartment is in great shape; extremely clean. I felt very safe and loved the proximity to the ocean and walking trails in the nearby lagoon.

Ultra Cozy
I LOVED staying at the Cozy Suite. Owner Vicki made sure everything I needed for a week stay was ready when I arrived, and she had the heater on to warm up the living room—what a warm welcome! The kitchenette was perfect and stocked with coffee, a few bottles of water and all the tools and appliances to prepare my own meals. There were extra blankets and pillows that I used because nights were chilly. The amenities in the bathroom were appreciated so I did not need to pack shampoo, conditioner, bath wash and lotion. The location was perfect—two shopping centers within minutes and a short drive to Fletcher Cove beach. Vicki is a delightful hostess who is available at anytime if you need anything—I would highly recommend this Cozy Suite to anyone wanting a quiet comfy stay, just like home.
