Dieses fantastische kleine Ferienhaus, das das ganze Jahr über verfügbar ist, bietet viel Charme direkt in der Innenstadt von Glen Arbor. We stayed in this cottage with our pug and had a great time. We had all of the necessities and the location was so close to everything in Glen Arbor. The only negatives were that the cottage could have been a little cleaner and it is on a busy road, with the river across the street (which we knew from the listing). There was still part of bar of soap on the windowsill in the shower and there was mildew on the window as well. The cottage is also a little tired looking and could use some updating. The king bed was very comfortable and we loved the circular driveway. Overall, it was a nice stay and we were really thankful we could bring our dog with us.

We enjoyed our stay at this little cottage! We really appreciated that we could bring our dog. Linens and towels were clean and there were plenty of extra bath towels in the cabinets. The location is great and we really enjoyed being able to walk into Glen Arbor and use the little Crystal River access across the street. We saw some deer and some cool birds while we were there. We had a couple housekeeping issues upon arrival: there was a load of clean dishes in the dishwasher that we needed to put away and we also found a load of towels and sheets in the washer halfway through the week when we went to do some laundry. Expect to bring your own kitchen towels if you want to cook (we were provided with 1 and asked for 6 more for a week's stay--they gave us 1 more). You will also need hand soap for the kitchen (empty one in the kitchen upon arrival),probably dishwasher liquid (powders just dripped down the door and didn't dissolve), laundry detergent. Oh, and I would bring your own sponge or whatever you prefer for washing pans, etc because they left us a used one. All and all, it's a nice place and we would stay again, but you can definitely tell it's run by a management company and not an owner who is directly involved.

Really happy with the unit. For a family of 4 (plus dog) this was the perfect size for a 4 day stay. Would fit 2 couples as well. Everything was clean and some furniture on the newer side. My only suggestions are for the bathroom - flip the door lock to be in the bathroom, provide a sensor night light in there, and a softer overhead light since it's very harsh (especially in the middle of the night). Location is great for walking into town - which we did multiple times a day. The wifi was acceptable to take a couple of work meetings. The pipes have an odor that goes away once the water has been used... maybe refill the emulsifier between tenants. Overall a great experience, I was hoping to see a porcupine and deer in the yard. We'll be back!

This was our 4th visit to Foxwood. Very cute charming place and the location is perfect. It's just the right size for 4 adults. Kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The fireplace was very handy the first few days we were there as it was cold and rainy. We discovered the furnace motor was "frozen" when we tried to use it during the cold days. Visit Up North were very helpful in contacting someone to fix the furnace. Kudos to Lindsay and Rachelle for working with us. I hope I spelled your names correctly. Chris was the gentleman who came promptly to fix the furnace once he secured the parts to repair it. We were grateful for his help especially since it warmed up the last half of our stay. The air conditioner made it our stay very comfortable. So thank you Chris for your help.

We finished a week’s worth of vacation from up near Marquette by enjoying 2 days near the Dunes. We enjoyed what we could in Traverse City and Glenn Arbor with the time restraints were had and in-climate weather. The vacation home had all the necessary amenities to make our visit enjoyable. The best part was being able to bring our pets.

We were looking for a quiet cabin experience for the new year. Absolutely enjoyed this trip, especially the proximity to Glen Arbor. We took walks daily into town and enjoyed riverside campfires. Property was as described.
My only complaint is the internet. For the most part you could only use the internet if you were right next to router/modem, which is in the master. We were hoping to be able to stream football over the playoff weekend, and were unable to despite troubleshooting steps.

From the pictures this seemed to be a secluded retreat, in reality it is on a very busy road with the stream (which looked to be in the back yard) across the busy road. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and the power GFCI kept tripping when you use the oven (they wear out). The TV was subpar with poor cable choices. No TV's in the master.

The unwanted guest, mouse, was a surprise as we didn’t leave doors opened to the outside. It got into a plastic wrapped Carmel apple on the kitchen counter...trapped and killed it.Did notice that one chair in the living room had an unsteady leg so we didn’t use it so no further damage would occur.Everything else was immaculate and the location was perfect for us to enjoy all the area has to offer. We love staying at Foxwood in Glen Arbor.

We had a great stay at the foxwood. The house was very clean and everything went as expected. Our weather was chilly and damp so we spent some time by the fire each day and evening! Very relaxing time. We walked to town many times daily as we had our dogs. Lots of places to take the in the fall that our dog friendly, even the bear dunes allow dogs on some trails. We all had a great weekend!! Would come back again!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The cabin was really big and fully stocked! It had grill with propane, even wood to use for the firepit! Cabin had towels, cooking pots and enything you would need for your stay! We walked everywhere! Its convinintly located close to all the stores and rental places (bile rental and kayak rental). We loved using private area by the river where our dog enjoyed swimming! We will be back!!

We have been vacationing in Glen Arbor for 15 years - this cottage was new to us because our usual place was booked. We had a great week and enjoyed the private river sitting area. It’s right along M22 so it’s busy if you have little kids or a dog. Definitely be careful. The huge garage was great for storing our bikes and we loved the kayaks and canoes. Our only wish was a clothesline to dry our swimming gear, and a tea kettle. Thanks so much!

Quaint pet friendly lodging
We had a peaceful stay at Foxwood in Glen Arbor. Close to many choices of nature to explore.
Loved being greeted by a couple of deer upon returning from a day of exploring and having a campfire one evening was peaceful and calming.
We didn’t need the second bedroom so simple closed the door to keep the dog out. We did bring some old sheets to cover the couch, bed and chair to prevent leaving behind too much dog hair.
This place is completely equipped for for all we needed, and then some.
One tiny comment, the bathtub floor was a bit slippery as we’re an older couple over the age of 65 years…we were just cautious when getting in and out, the grab bar was nice to have.
Hope to stay here again in the near future.
The gas fireplace was extra cozy as the time we spent was here the temps were chilly and that made it so inviting in the evening.

Off-Season Getaway
Our family of four plus our dog had a great spring weekend at Foxwood. The downtown Glen Arbor amenities, river and beaches were all walkable, and it provided a great jump-off point for day trips to Sleeping Bear, Leland, Point Betsie and much more. We would highly recommend this cottage and plan to come back ourselves!
