Our family of four had a great stay at this Winter Park condo. The condo was perfect for us and the kids loved the bunkbeds. The kitchen was great for prepping quick meals, and there were several good restaurants a quick drive (or short walk in better weather) away. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub while we were there, as well as the fireplace in the condo. The buses weren't running regularly to Winter Park Resort for some reason (I don't think this is normal), but it was a short drive and we had no problems with parking at the mountain. Highly recommended if you want a clean, efficient, and well located place to stay in Winter Park!

Great place for our ski trip! Loved that there was a sink in each bedroom since there was only one bathroom. Comfortable and clean. Close to winter park skiing!

Perfect for our little family of 3.

This location was perfect with the town bus to the mountain stopping just outside your front door. The accommodations were clean, cozy and well equipped.

Perfect for a weekend getaway, the kids loved all the books and games. Great location and really nice pool/hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

It was just a short walk, or ride on shuttle. Owner very prompt to answer any question.

Very impressed with how well stocked the condo was! Humidifiers were a life saver! Condo was nice and clean and easily accessible right in the middle of town. I wish it had a washer/dryer. We had to drive up to rec building and pay to wash clothes and dryer would not dry clothes. Condo is small. I wouldn't want to stay with more than four people. A little noisy. U could hear others walking up/down stairs and every time anyone ran water it was loud. Couldn't sleep.

Property wasn’t updated. Very small and crowded for a family of 5. Communication with owner was great. Location was ok.

Walked or rode to trails and restaurants - didn’t move the car for four days!

Our family stayed here for a spring break ski trip. It was a perfect location for the free Lift bus to the resort as well as the town. The condo had everything we needed, and it was a great place to relax after a day of skiing. We’re a family of 6, and the space worked for us. Definitely would recommend staying!

The condo was just perfect. Home made meals, cozy area for games, music and dancing. What really impressed me was how sturdy sound proof the building is. Nobody else could hear our music and dancing! Great time and the condo was everything we wanted.

Excellent place

This condo is exactly as advertised. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen although small is well stocked. Living area was also comfortable. The unit is located in a multi-family building so there is some noise but nothing irritating. Overall a nice ski week with LOTS of fresh snow!

Covid messed with most of our plans, so we were happy to adjust and add a few extra days in WP. I’ve been coming to Hi Country Haus since I was a kid, so it was nice to visit again with *my* kids. Everything in the unit was super user friendly (DirectTV couldn’t connect to the satellite, but the streaming options worked fine) and our girls had a blast!

Great place for skiing winter park.

Nice condo and great location for our family of 4. Andy was very attentive with quick responses to my emails.

As a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 13, 9, and 6 this place worked perfectly. It was clean, owner responded promptly, location is about 5 min from the old town parking lot (for ski parking), close enough to the mountain that you don't have to sit in traffic at the end of the day, and you could walk to the main strip to grab a bite to eat so you don't fight traffic. The rec center was perfect to do laundry and to take a plunge into the spa or pool after a long day of skiing. The only cons would be that it is small, only 1 person can be in the kitchen at a time. The kids typically sat at the island to eat while me and the wife stood behind the island and ate dinner. Not sure you would want to have 6 adults in this place. Also, because this unit is on the second floor you have to deal with the 3rd floor noise of people walking, running, jumping off of beds, etc. (This is pretty much anywhere though and no fault of this particular unit). It wasn't horrible (We've stayed in much worse places where you could hear the TV and the toilet flushing which was not the case here) and this really depends on who your neighbors are but based on the noise I'm pretty sure there was a wrestling match going on at one time. While we only saw 4 people pack up and leave I would have bet money that there were 17 people staying upstairs. That said, if you are going up to ski then you won't be spending much time in this place. We left around 7:45am and didn't return to about 4:45 in the evening. By the time you hit the spa, eat dinner, and have a few drinks we were crashing about 9pm in order to do it all over again. And after a full day of skiing you could of drove a bus though this place and no one would have noticed. Lastly, I wish the unit would have had towels to be used for the pool/spa. I believe there were only a total of 6 towels in the unit so between shower and pool towels your slightly limited. Based on our experience I would recommend this place to anyone and wouldn't have an issue renting this place again.

Impressed with new swimming pool and hot tub. The key card is a blank white (could use a label). Place was nice and we really enjoyed our stay. There was a dvd movie collection plus netflix to watch apre' ski. Would stay again.

The place was much smaller and much older than the pictures portrayed. Kitchen and bathroom were not cleaned very well. There was a ring in the toilet, the kitchen counter had what looked like sticky stains on it and the freezer wasn't clean. We had to wipe the countertop down before we could unload our stuff. The carpet looked so dirty and I'm sure that's because it is old. We could not walk barefoot on it. The linens need to be replaced. One pillow case was so yellow, we did not use it. It would be nice if the master bedroom had a tv in it. Never stayed anywhere that the master didn't have a tv. Also it was really inconvenient that there wasn't an iron and ironing board. That should be a staple anywhere you stay. I realize that place is older, but the items I spoke about would make the stay more enjoyable. Andy was very nice and its not his fault the cleaning crew didn't do a better job. We were able to check in about an hour early do that was great. The views were awesome and even tho it was at the very end of Hi Country Haus, it was still within walking distance to everything. I booked this place because it had alot of great reviews and the pictures made it look like a cozy place. We were disappointed.

sinks in rooms are very useful, and the new rec center is very nice! Gave it 4 stars just because the common area is smaller but still large enough.

We decided that our family of four is done sharing a hotel room for our ski trips. This 2 bedroom condo turned out to be perfect for us. These condo buildings are 3 levels, and this unit is on the second floor. Andy provided humidifiers that nicely drowned out/muted the neighboring sounds; specifically the neighbors above. The kitchen is well stocked. Andy allowed our two small dogs to join us and we drive to a "dog friendly" ski parking lot, so we never took advantage of the Lift - bus service - but the bus drove right by the front of the building. There's ample parking and the unit is located close to downtown Winter Park, on the Fraser side, so close enough to the great restaurants in Fraser. My kids loved the rec center and said it has one of the best hot tubs they've seen. We will return!!

My family enjoyed the condo. The kitchen is stock for cooking. Everything is close by. The club house pool is nice. Would stay again.

This place was super. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. And the place was clean when we arrived. It is in a great location, walking distance to town which we did often. There is also a lift bus that stops right out front of the unit and picked us up for skiing. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Really enjoyed the comforts and location. Nice cozy condo, comfortable bed, and plenty of space for a weekend in the mountains. I really appreciate that I was allowed to bring my dog. He and I enjoyed the trail access everyday, walks and bike rides along the Fraser river, and the easy walk to shops and restaurants. The property and grounds are very well maintained. The clubhouse amenities were a wonderful added bonus. Enjoyed sitting out a the picnic table and on the deck as well. Neighbors were very friendly. Couldn't ask for a better stay. Hoping to return soon.
