Had a wonderful time here with the family. Would definitely come again.
The not so good: was a duplex (didn't know that) but thankfully neighbors were either not there or very quiet. The master bed was a small queen, and VERY high up (you need climbing gear to get up - really need a low king size). Bathrooms only on the top/bedroom floor (but wasn't the end of the world). Internet was repeatedly buffering and sticking trying to watch shows (but again not the end of the world because we were there for beach) - suggest higher data/mbps rate for internet service.
The good: location was absolutely perfect right on the beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The place was a great size for a family of 4. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home, great location and view of the ocean

The home was on the South end of Tybee Island and beach front, with lovely views of the ocean. The home was cozy and clean and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were up to date and the house had everything you could want for a beach vacation. The hosts were very easy to work with and assisted immediately when I could not figure out how to lock the door (I misread the instructions). I would highly recommend this home!

The place was perfect close to beach stores n savannah.

Great house for 3-5 people. Everything is very comfortable, ie seating, sofa and beds. Love the view from both outside porches. I read a lot out there because it was shaded and breezy. We had everything we could need. The stairs are challenging going up into the unit, which if you have physical limitations would pose a problem. Thankfully not for us! Overall, enjoyed it and its location to the beach, shopping, and restaurants very much!

Right on the beach! Lovely property with stairs to the bedrooms and into the house
. Very clean and well equipped!

Fabulous home, clean, well stocked kitchen. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beach house; it did not disappoint. 😀 I will say that having instructions on how to lock the key pad would be helpful. (We figured it out, but it would have been easier to have instructions ahead of time).
All around wonderful experience!

Great location for beach goers. Great views from deck.

We had an amazing stay! You can’t ask for a better location! We loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean or making the short walk to sit on the beach. We loved the property and it had everything we needed. Check in and check out we’re easy too. Definitely a great stay and highly recommended!

Great 2 bedroom town home directly on the beach. Very welcoming. Sunrise in the morning and just a couple of minutes to walk to the inlet/back river to see gorgeous sunsets. 5 minute walk to the pier, restaurants, bars , and shops. We will definitely be back!

It was our first trip to the Island. The townhome was in the perfect location on the beach!! Loved that it was less congested area. The home was well stocked and had perfect beach views!

We loved the proximity of the home to the beach especially with our little kids and needing naps. The home had a fresh exterior paint job so looked better than photos. The cleaning crew could have maybe done a little better, but honestly the home was wonderful! We had a wonderful bonding time away filled with making memories. The kitchen is spacious and we all enjoyed our stay. THANK YOU! :)

My family spent a week here during our visit to the island. My husband and I stayed at this property and my parents stayed at the property directly behind it (19th St Sandbar - which was adorable and very clean).
We definitely had the best views! But we were a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the unit. When we first arrived, it was unlike any other rental property experience we've had (where they typically have thoughtful touches and are ready to welcome guests). Maybe we should have lowered our expectations, but when we arrived we felt like we were walking into a very lived-in space. Crumbs everywhere, funky smells, things left behind from past guests just laying around. We spent our entire first day tidying up, scrubbing things down and covering almost all the furniture in clean sheets.
The basics were all fairly clean (bathrooms and bedding) but it just felt like this unit was way overdue for a good deep cleaning of everything else. Some furniture is past needing cleaned and just needs replaced. The main floor sliding door also needs replaced. The bed was just okay.
I would suggest a new kitchen table set (the chair cushions were splattered in "splooge" so we covered them all with pillow cases). Same goes for the tan chair in the main bedroom. The kitchen drawers and utensils could use some organization, too.
I think if all these things are addressed and the property is more thoroughly cleaned between guests, it would be a five star experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. Dee was very accommodating. Great house and great location. We hope to stay here again.

Great property with amazing views. Convenient to beach, shops, and food. Just a short trip into Savannah. Steps have been mentioned in a lot of reviews but those were no problem for us.

We loved Tybee Island and the beach. House in an excellent location for beach access and view! Parking for 2 SUV ‘s was tight. Layout of kitchen was fabulous open and comfortable. Recommend replacing old Teflon pots and pans. Repairing cabinet that has duck tape to keep it shut. Replacing daybed pillows and bedding ( smelling musty). Outside sitting areas great. Upstairs was comfortable. We would recommend this house. It just needs more TLC.

Despite a beautiful ocean view and clean interior, we were disappointed for a number of reasons. Most concerning was the stairs are dangerous! We had read a review about the stairs being hazardous, so we were prepared and still two of our four people tripped and fell on the final step from the upstairs to the main floor. The problem is the wood on the bottom step blends perfectly with the wood just below on the main floor, so you almost don’t see a step is there. A metal strip along the edge of the bottom step would help as it might allow you to tell the step is there. A serious injury and lawsuit are inevitable if this is not addressed. You must also be careful just going down the steps as their width is smaller than normal.
The lack of a half bath on the main floor was inconvenient as it made multiple trips up and down the stairs mandatory.
An aggravating feature of the second bedroom is that you can’t open the windows, they are sealed shut…no ocean breeze or fresh air.
The sliding glass door on the main floor to the back deck is very hard to move the last foot to close it, one of us couldn’t move it.
Some other things…the floor on the main floor back deck is dirty, ugly, needs painting…the chairs on the side deck are badly rusted as are the beach chairs in the carport, not usable…the area below the main deck is unattractive, dead limbs from a palm tree all over the ground.
The quality of the unit did not justify the cost.

The condo fit our needs very well, the kitchen was well stocked, comfortable, clean, and nice looking, and the location was ideal: ready access to the beach and town, and wonderful views from all areas of the condo of the expansive south beach. The only recommendation I would make is to allow the windows in the back bedroom to open. It was warm in there without the air conditioning running, even with a fan running, and we didn't typically need the air conditioning during our Feb stay. I would highly recommend renting the condo and Dee was a very nice host.

This is a generally lovely property, with a great location. The view from the decks (especially the upstairs deck) is spectacular. There are two main problems, which would not necessarily not affect everyone. The stairs in the unit are quite steep. The last stair leading into the unit is slightly higher than the rest of the stairs, and has a lip on it, so it's very easy to trip. One of our group did and landed on hands and knees on the main level hardwood floor. The stairs coming down from the second level are also very steep, and the last step blends in so perfectly with the floor that anyone coming down the stairs can't see it. Another of our group took a fall because of that. Since there's no bathroom on the main floor, we had to go up and down the stairs fairly often, and always very carefully. We would have appreciated having enough coffee in the unit to get us through the first morning. As it is, we had to make a run to the convenience store. If you need coffee, cream, and sugar, bring it with you.

The house is great. Kitchen and bathrooms have been updated and are so nice and bright. House has THREE balconies with seating. The location is private even though it’s 10 steps away from the public beach access. We were worried about using a public access as our main path but the access is not busy and is tucked away. The view is amazing even from the bottom level of the house. This part of the beach is never crowded and at low tide you have tons of space to play. We will definitely be back. If you’ve seen other reviews, the stairs are nice normal stairs but you do climb 1 flight to get in and another to get to the bathroom.

This property is perfect for a family wanting to visit the beach. Very clean and a beautiful view.

This ocean/beach front home was exactly as described in the listing. There were views of the beach and ocean from all three balconies. It was a very comfortable and well stocked home. But, as other reviews have shared, there are two flights of stairs at this home. One from ground level parking to first floor living space and another up to second floor sleeping and bathroom space. Kitchen, dining, and living room on first floor living space. Second floor has master bedroom with bathroom and second bedroom with separate bathroom. We quickly overlooked the stairs as the views were incredible. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again should our travels take us back to Tybee Island.

The house was a fantastic venue for our girls weekend out. The house had amazing views from the 3 decks, living room and master bedroom. The large kitchen and L shape couch had plenty of seating was perfect to just hang out. The house is built on stilts and the stairs were steep. We formed a pass off line in the stairway to hand up the luggage and groceries rather than making several trips up and down. The two bathrooms are on the 2nd floor, so we got a good thigh workout. We took several walks down the the Pier, restaurants and Wet Willies! The island was beautiful and has so much history. Great place to vacation.!

We very much enjoyed our stay. We will be back and stay here again. Make sure everyone in your party can walk up stairs!

Great location!
You are right next to public beach access for an easy walk. There is a water hose outside which makes it easier to get sand off before going back inside. Landlord is super helpful. Could be some updates to appliances but overall great vacation property. Awesome views!

The property was very clean and well decorated just as the listing stated. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked with everything you would need. It was an excellent beach stay. Steps away from the 19th street boardwalk right on the beach. Driveway is a little tight for a big truck but is manageable. The owners were very nice to talk to and responded quickly when we had a question. I would definitely rent from them again. Thanks for the memories.
