We stayed at this property the week after Hurricane Beryl. The west end of the island was hit pretty hard but rhey recovered pretty quickly. We did not have wifi during our stay but it wasn't a major problem. The house was spacious and well equipped with necessities as well as lots of extras. Michael Jones stayed in constant communication with me up until the night before our check-in day and even gave us a chance to cancel with a full refund due to not having wifi and the mosquitoes were so bad due to the Hurricane rhe previous week. I wish the mosquitoes would not have been so bad so we could have enjoyed the Pointe West amenities we paid extra for. I also rented a golf cart which we barely used because we were swarmed by mosquitoes. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Mike for your patience and understanding.

It was the perfect house. We had extended family in town from Europe and the house was just what we needed for the 9 of us, 5 adults (40s to late 70s) and 4 kids (9 to 13). The location was great and we rented a golf cart to get around, highly suggest especially with a large party. We took full advantage of the beach club for pools, fitness area, and beach acess.
The house was clean, had great space, and all the ameneties we needed. We were impressed with everything that was provided from beach towels to basic toiletries. Michael was great about communicating and answering questions prior to arrival and also setting up getting access to the beach club. The whole process was very easy and I received many compliments from other family members about my choice of house.
We had a great time at the beach and pools. We also took a trip to the Strand. Everything is easily accessible and a variety of activities for everyone. My favorite was just watching the sunset on the bay. We will definitely stay here again.

The owner was very accommodating. I had a couple of questions and he answered them promptly. Would recommend this house for family. The only thing is make sure to bring gates for the stairs if you have infants.

We had a wonderful time on our weekend getaway staying at this lovely house. We enjoyed the quiet of the bay side of point west. The views were beautiful, the house well appointed, and our contact could not have been more helpful. Our whole group loved it!

We found the beach house perfect for our family! We had 7 adults, one teenager, one child, aged 71 to 4. The owner was responsive to our needs and a gracious host. The rollaway beds were an added benefit. Sullivan Family

Very responsive
The owner and property manager were very prompt in responding to any questions or issues (minor issues) I had. There was an abundant amount of necessities even though we brought our own just in case. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!

Great place to relax with family. It was clean and we had everything we needed. Just one thing… the air filters needed to be changed big time.; otherwise, nice place to stay!

This home fit our needs perfectly! Great location, great layout and was equipped with more than what we needed. Point West is THE place on the upper Texas gulf coast.

AWESOME PLACE!
From top to bottom, this place and the communication was outstanding!
The only reason why I gave 4 stars on accuracy of online listing is because there are 2 different locations to use the Pointe West Club Access, which we were not aware of....but the good news it one of the pools is walking distance and the other (bigger pool) is less than 1 mile away.
Our party consistent of 4 adults and 4 kids (Kids ages are 8 months, 16 months, 4, and 4 .5) There was plenty of space and quiet areas to put the kids down for naps.
The house was well stocked with everything a party would need (including first aid kits, which we did not have to use, but great thought on the owners to have in the house)
This house/location gave us everything we were looking for- close to a beach, close to a pool, and good AC to cool off when needed!
Highly recommend!

Nice house in Pointe West
Very nicely furnished and well equipped house. Large kitchen-living room and fabulous deck with amazing view. Floors could have been a bit cleaner at check in. We rented a golf cart which was helpful getting to beach and pool. Communication with owner pretty good. One message was not answered before we arrived. He did have someone to call during our stay; we needed dishwasher soap. She was responsive. We also didn’t have extra paper towels but otherwise house was well stocked with towels and toilet tissue. They said a pack n play was available but since we didn't hear back from owner, we brought one. They said roll aways are available but limited floor space for them. Only master bedroom would have room for one. Overall very nice and I would recommend it.

Beautiful View
We had a lovely time. The house was just as listed. We had a few little questions, Mike was super fast to answer and solve any questions we had. Left a lovely welcome package that was enjoyed by all.
Beach club was nice. Access was easy. Nice bonus to have.
Make sure you do your shopping as the west side of the island has very few stores.
One note we didn’t see before which some might be interested in, they aske for no seafood in the fridge or freezer upstairs in kitchen. Makes sense and we didn’t have any but some folks almost brought some and we’re glad they didn’t.
Overall, we would definitely consider coming back!

Ranita’s Vacation Getaway!!
I booked this getaway for our family getaway!! Amazing location. The views were everything!! The house was beautiful and the pictures represented from the website were accurate. The house had all of the amenities that were necessary for our getaway. The house is in a great location and accessible to the beach. We enjoyed just sitting around fellowshipping with each other!! I plan to visit again!!

Everything and more
5 stars and then some. The property was even better in person than what the pictures showed. Mike was a fantastic owner to work with. Answered all our questions and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Beach access was great. Canopies allowed. No issues with overcrowding. The only drawback was a bit too much seaweed (if they ever came by and "dragged" that no-vehicle-access area in front of the beach club for seaweed, that would be a HUGE plus). But, it really had no affect on our stay. We still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovely property. We will definitely book again.

Awesome experience
The host was very gracious welcoming us in their home. Fun beach home with nice amenities with each group of adults having their own comfortable bed & space. Big kitchen with more than everything we could possibly need. Coffee bar is a nice touch. Nice big table for playing games, beautiful deck to enjoy meals with a spectacular view of both the bay & Gulf. Loved the pools and walks on beach. Had fun renting a golf cart and exploring the area. Overall, our experience exceeded my expectations. The host was very friendly & accommodating. The lights were left on to greet us when we arrived and left some thoughtful gifts for our family celebration.
Everything was well stocked and lots of extra clean towels. We were blessed by a lovely time together in this wonderful home. Very peaceful!

Galveston Gem
Wonderful property to stay for a long weekend in Galveston. House is specious, kitchen well stocked, and balconies provide great views (especially at sunset)! We love the Pointe West area and all the amenities provided. Both pools and all beach access points exceeded our expectations. Our trip was not without a couple of hiccups, but the home owner went above and beyond the make sure that everything was solved. I would 100% stay in this home again!

Love this House
We have deep roots in Galveston and had never stayed in the Pointe West area before. We really enjoyed the combination of Beach Club amenities and the easy access to the beach. The house itself was perfect for our group of girlfriends and teenage daughters. The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you might need in your home away from home. The owner is very hands on and wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back!

We had a nice stay. The house was amazing. We had a awesome sunset view. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t stay at the house much we were always on the beach.

We stayed 5 days with 7 adults, 3 teens and 1 infant. The 4 separate bedrooms were very nice-everyone had their own space. The travel to the beach and resort was short-I would recommend renting a golf cart. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We stayed during COVID restrictions but didn't change what we wanted to do.

First Class Vacation Home & Great Location
If you are looking for a home that has plenty of rooms, clean, and amenities than you have found that home. You are minutes away from the beach, bring your golf cart or ATV if you have one, they are near a fabulous pool with a lazy river on the bay side and the community has a club house with a nice pool and amenities on the beach side. There is plenty of parking because there are no other homes on the street. We brought an ATV and a Golf Cart, and we had plenty of parking and fit in with the other residents of the community. Beach access by vehicle also. Bring your clothes, food, and beach items and they supply everything else. The home is Kid Friendly! I am looking forward to staying at this home again next year!

Property
We loved the view and the house was nice. I am only writing this to give the homeowner some advice only. We rated the home with 5 stars and as a business owner I know that reviews are important. The only things that we noticed was that the lighting in the home was a bit dim due to the compact fluorescents used throughout the house and they take a while to get warmed up. I would recommend using some LED lighting, as this would brighten up the house. We also noticed that the lawn needed to be mowed when we arrived and it was eventually mowed later in the week. The grass was tall and full of sand burrs. I know they are hard to get rid of. Our kids could not play in the grass without shoes due to this problem. Also had to make sure they didn’t bring any of them into the house on their shoes.
The master bedroom did not have a closet to hang up any clothing, but to the owners defense they did purchase a clothing rack and place it in the room for us. I believe these things are minor and I would want to know which is the only reason I am writing this. Overall we had a great time in Galveston and would love to visit again sometime. The beach club was nice and so was the beach.

Great place for a large group
We had 5 moms and 10 children staying for the weekend and the house was great for us. We had an issue with getting our bracelets but the property manager was super responsive and took care of it immediately. The booking process was really easy and the owner is super responsive. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Perfect!!!
This was our 2nd year staying and the house was perfect for our crew (6 adults, 6 children from ages 4 to 7) as it provided ample space for the little ones to play and for the adults to relax. The roll aways were a hit as we put all the kids in the master bedroom, which allowed for the adults to have their own bedrooms. The deck was great and was a popular destination when we weren't at the beach or the pool. Great for morning coffee and watching the beautiful sunsets. The Beach Club was great and we had a great time swimming, eating, drinking, singing karaoke and making crafts. The house is practically fully stocked with just about everything you need, with a great kitchen and living area. Mike was incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome before we even got there. We plan on staying here again next year as I can't see enough great things about our experience!!!

Awesome house, Awesome location!
Enjoyed our stay and plenty of room to hang with friends and family. Sunsets are great from the balcony and the kids caught fish right out front. Clean inside/out and exactly as described. Will definitely rent house again soon.
