We had grandparents, parents and kiddos, plenty of room in a homey and well appointed lake home. Kitchen had all we desired to cook and not waste any time away from the beautiful views from every room and the decks. So much fun was had in the jacuzzi, game room and lake fishing right from the back of the property. Lovely in everyway and we’d highly recommend!

Amazing place. Stayed with 3 families; 6 adults, 9 kids. The place was at a great location, had amenities that made the place even more fun. They had a nice little casino-type table and pool table and foose ball table. It was very spacious for all of us, it neve felt like it was too small. Everything worked well for the most part. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

We celebrated our son's 18th birthday with 6 of his friends, and 4 other parents. The house was the perfect size for all of us, especially the teenagers! The location has a fantastic view of the lake and wildlife. Its close to the village, but far enough to where we felt we were away from the hustle.
We asked for a later check out and were accomodated. Everyone was grateful for the extra time, and every single person said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I would gladly give 5 stars, but I'm waiting to hear back from VRBO/ Destination Big Bear regarding a birthday present that was accidentally left behind. I contacted the reps at Destination BB as soon as we got down the mountain.
They replied immediately to inform me the cleaning crew would drop off the gift to their main office, and would notify me asap.
I am currently waiting on DBB to let me know that they have the gift in their possession.
Overall, our experience with VRBO/ DBB was wonderful and I recommend this home for your next adventure in Big Bear!

We stayed in this home with my dad who came to visit us, my husband and kids and another family. This place is big, with 4 bedrooms and 3 king size beds. The view from the main floor is amazing and most importantly the location is PERFECT, with snow in the backyard and view of the lake for the kiddos to play and enjoy. We are definitely coming back!

Great place to stay, with plenty of room for everyone. Communication was easy with property management. Only thing is that it's quite warm on the top floor and there is no AC. Just something to keep in mind when staying there during the summer. But nothing can beat the views. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Great Property But Needs Some Updates
Overall this property is great. There were 8 adults celebrating a 52nd birthday weekend. The size of the home and separation is great. The outdoor decks and yard space are amazing. Beautiful views even though the lake is so low. Location was great for walks with lake views and beautiful properties all around.
The property really is more comfortable for 6 adults as 2 had to sleep under bunk beads and actually hit their heads on the upper bed so the next night chose to sleep on the sofa bed which wasn’t any better. It’s a little tight with only 2.5 bathrooms as well.
The TVs were all terrible and we couldn’t get most to work. They really need to be updated to modern flat screen smart TV’s so we could stream Netflix etc.
Be aware the hone does not come stocked with any basic essentials including shampoo or body soap (items we didn’t bring) nor basic items in the kitchen like foil, Saran Wrap, bags etc. stuff you don’t go out and buy or bring for a 3 day trip! I really feel these items should be in a home especially of this caliber.
The worst item was the kitchen refrigerator it really needs to be replaced! It does not cool properly and there’s a note in the fridge stating it could be 24 hrs before it’s cooked to the right temperature along with some other instructions on where to set the temperature for it to work.
The management company was fantastic and so easy to work with. We were even lucky enough to get a late check out!
Again overall a fantastic property and experience but the owners really should invest some money to upgrade the TVs and Refrigerator, especially for the price they are charging per night.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything was clean and very comfortable. My only complaint was the smell of the refrigerator. It smelled fishy which made the ice smell also. Other then that it was a great place and I would love to stay again. My children enjoyed the game room to its fullest.

Weekend Getaway to Big Bear
We recently rented a place at big bear. When we arrived the place was nice and clean and had some nice amenities. The first night we just had 5 adults staying at the house. It was very nice. On the second day the rest of our group arrived with 4 more adults and 4 kids. When they say the place sleeps 16 it means a lot of the people are sleeping in the same bed rooms. Because this was a weekend with kids involved it wasn't all that bad. But if you are all adults and are wanting to have more than 4 couples this place will not accommodate that many. When our group travels we all expect to have our own room. If you have all adults plan on more of a camping experiment with friends than a luxury place that sleeps 16 as advertised. The place was very nice just not a place for 16 adults if considering it.
In each of the guest rooms they have crammed in extra beds with 4 and even as many as 6 sleeping in the same room. With kids this is fine. However, we were considering at first for this to be just an adult weekend away. If you go that route and had more than 8 you would have couples sharing a room. So the 16 is a little misleading.
Other than that we had a great time. We grilled out both nights on the grill provided and the living area and kitchen was large enough for us all to fit comfortably. Even watched a little football on Sat and Sun. Nice size TV was there. The kitchen was nice. Would recommend providing more utensils than provided. But we cooked and ate at the table and grill out. All was a nice time spent with friends.
We brought our boat up with us and docked it at the house. All went very smooth. The lake is very low now because of no rain in a while but nobody can control that. So be careful for the shallow area around the docks if you bring a boat. We had a pontoon so it worked out fine. If you have a V-Hull boat the water might be to low to fit the boat into the dock. Hope the area gets some rain this year and the lake starts to fill back up. Such a nice area for the lake to get much lower will ruin it for a lot of places up there.
All in all a great trip and we would do it again!

Wonderful House on the Lake
Celebrated two birthdays with some friends from LA. This house had plenty of space, was clean and well kept when we arrived and has beautiful views and access to the lake. Right down the road at the Marina was Jet Skiing and Boat Rentals... we did 5 days and 4 nights, wish we did longer! 100% recommend this place! And dog friendly!

My review:
Overall, the property was really nice and was perfect for the four small families in our party. I didn't get the layout at first as it is four split levels, but then realized it is actually a cool design. Most of the rooms in the house lead out to one of four separate decks on four separate levels. They all face the lake and are all connected by stairs. Great for large outdoor gatherings. There were also plenty of beds to accommodate our group.
It would be nice if the kitchen was better stocked with basic items such as serving spoons, pans, pot holders, etc. The refrigerator was 70 degrees when we arrived. We weren't sure if it was even working but it finally cooled to normal operating temp the next day. The propane tank was nearly empty so we had to conserve. The lake was also very low and not very usable, but obviously that is beyond their control. Most rentals we have stayed in provided some basic toys such as rafts, tubes, outdoor games, etc. Not the case here. Another odd thing was that there was no furniture on the decks except for one which had a few cheap plastic chairs and a plastic table. It would also have been nice if someone had called at some point to confirm everything was in order. Otherwise, the house is really nice and I would recommend it.

A great weekend away!
Hi there!
We stayed with you last year and LOVED it. We came with a group of 14 adults and two children. This year we thought originally we were going to be larger and searched elsewhere. Then at the last minute, we had a couple drop out and we were excited to come back to you.
We love the views from bedrooms to living rooms/jacuzzi etc. With such a large group- the dining area with living room kitchen is essential (and also not common among other rentals we found). It is a great place to congregate- around the fire no less.
There were a few little things we noticed (that would not keep us from coming back mind you- but would be nice to know before heading up to your home)
This time, we had trouble finding linens for the pull out couch and the cots. Two of our crew brought blow up mattresses with sheets, so we did not end up using the cots. Had we wanted too, sheets would have been a problem. We took a top sheet off of the full in the bunk room and used it for the bottom in the pull out. There is only one kitchen towel- that we could find. (we didn't remember that from the year before). Cooking for 16 means a need of a couple of towels.
The jacuzzi lid had to be jerry-rigged to stay up. It fell on one of us. She was fun, and we laughed it off as comical-but it looked like it hurt. We used a door stop to hold it up after that.
And we noticed the lock on the door coming from the dining table to the deck was broken. This didn't effect us at all- we did keep the wood rod in place.
But truthfully- your place feels like a home. A fun home for a family to adventure too. We already have talked about coming back next year. The house was absolutely clean and I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

STOP LOOKING! This is the cabin for you!
Planned a buddy's 30th birthday and wanted a house that would accommodate the 16 people we had. This place was awesome! Seriously. Great views, tons of room in the house and on the deck(s!), ample parking space, beautiful master bedroom and 2 guest rooms with their own deck, extra room for kids or adults that act like kids, big kitchen. Had an awesome time and would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Nice House
The house was nice, and the location was great. We loved being waterfront, we just wish the water access was better. There was so much grass type stuff growing up in the water we ended up with issues to our boat. As far as the house, it was comfortable and nice and great for our family. The small issues we had the management team took care of them pretty quickly. If the bedrooms were painted neutral colors and the carpet changed out it would really improve the look of the home. A vacuum in the closet for guests to use would be great. That dark green carpet shows everything. Overall we had a great time!

Great vacation spot
I highly recommend Lakefront Manor for families. The house is roomy to accomodate a big crowd (we had thirteen and had tons of space!). The home is clean and well maintained. Having access to the lake and your own boat dock was great for the kids. They rafted and paddleboarded right from the dock. The lake was pretty shallow there so we were glad we didn't take our boat, as we would not have been able to dock there. The location is great for the activities we were doing. We were within 5-10 minutes of ziplining, the marina, parasailing, horseback riding, the Village (for shopping), Von's grocery store, and a convenience store. I think the other end of the lake is prettier with the big boulders, depending on what you want to do while there, but this was perfect for us. The house is actually nicer than it is represented. Just a little housekeeping, the hanging curtain door in the master bedroom is annoying as it falls down every time you go through, the hot tub had a bit of a ring, and the deck area probably should have been cleared of some spider webs, but other than that, no complaints of the property and location. Destination Big Bear was also very accomodating when we went to cook dinner on the BBG, the tank was empty and they brought one over within about 15 minutes. Our family loved the vacation and the house. Thank you for providing us with a great place to stay!!

Lovely cabin on lake
This was our family's first stay at this lovely house. We loved the view, lake access and roominess of the house. The multi-level layout was perfect for our multi-generational family. Adults could talk easily on the main living floor, while keeping an ear and eye out for the kids on the game level or outside. The furnishings were attractive and the beds were comfortable. We have stayed at many cabins over the years, and this was one of our favorites by far!

Awesome getaway!
Booked Lakefront Manor for a weekend getaway and I have to say that it was a pleasure dealing with the people at Desitination Big Bear. They made the reservation process very easy, answered all of my calls promptly and answered all of my questions.
Now about the cabin. It was very clean, roomy and very nicely decorated. Definately one of the nicest cabins my family has ever rented. We especially enjoyed the pool table, jacuzzi, all 3 decks, the boat dock and the large yard right on the lake. The fishing was good right from the shore.
We will definately be back and highly recommend booking with Desintation Big Bear. They made our getaway one of the best we have ever had. We will definately book our next getaway with them. Thanks again Desination Big Bear!

Perfect quicky getaway
My buddy and I spontaneously decided late Friday night to cruise from SD and LA out to big bear for a weekend of Mountain Biking. Edgewater was the only place we could get privately for a same day booking. The place was perfect, hassle free and exactly what we were looking for. It sits right on Big Bear Lake, and is a convenient 2 miles from Snow Summit's trails. We will definitely be coming back for a easy affordable weekend adventure!!! Thanks! Only downfall (if you wanna get picky) is the carpets have definitely been worn from Snow being trekked inside over the years. Otherwise all appliances and bathrooms are very clean!

We went memorial day weekend. The place was clean, good size for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. Great view of the lake and easy walk to convenience store, the village and fishing areas. Had all the amenities except one burner on the stove wasn't working. Would highly recommend this place for a quick get away in Big Bear!
