Our family vacation was perfect staying at Chill Pill! Plenty of room, exactly as described, location to the beach was easy to walk to with a great restaurant nearby. And the setup every day at the beach was awesome so we didn’t have to rush to get a place especially when it was the Fourth of July week! The pool was great to have after beach time. I can’t recommend this location enough!

This house checked all the boxes for us. It was clean, plenty of room, close to the beach, the house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed. We loved having chair service on the beach and Dana was wonderful to work with. Overall, excellent!!!

If you’re not staying directly on the beach this is the next best thing. Easy beach access about 50 yards away. Beautiful pool facing the main road. The house had more than everything you could possibly need. The bottom level is perfect for hanging out with the pool table and shuffle board and open floor plan. Easy access to shopping, restaurants & fun. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

The house was exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed and more. The location was great; so close to everything. We loved everything about our stay! I’m still dreaming about the bed I slept in – SO comfortable!! Dana was very helpful and super responsive!

Nice house, lots of room, great place for large Family & across the street from the beach. what more could we ask for? This weekend it was sunshine, but we loved the house for everything you could need was all there. My daughters like to cook & bake, so this house had all kinds of utensils.

We travelled with 8 adults and 6 kids. The house met all of our needs for space and then some. What we loved about the house was the shuffleboard table and beach service so no one had to wake up early and claim our spot on the beach! It is such a beautiful place and Dana was very responsive when contacted. I will definitely consider booking again either this property or one of their others.

We just spent the best week at Chill Pill Destin! My family of 18 (10 adults and 8 kids) went to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary and this house was everything we needed and more. Every family had their own bedroom/bathroom and even had the master on the first floor as a spare bedroom. which became the cozy place for the early riser kids to go and watch tv before the rest of the group woke up. Four “big kids” slept in the bunk room. Which is massive! It isn’t closed off (doesn’t have a door) which we were initially concerned about, but had zero complaints from them about noise even when adults were downstairs playing pool and shuffle board so the music on.
The kitchen has everything you’d need for cooking and plenty of places for ordering out! The pool table and shuffleboard was being used constantly, fun for adults and kids.
The outdoor pool was easily the kids favorite place. They would have stayed in it from morning to night if we let them. But we had to force them out to go to beach. Which is one of the best (if not the best) beaches I’ve ever seen. Powder soft sand and turquoise water, it was heaven. The included beach set ups (6 chairs and 3 umbrellas), set up every morning for you was amazing! And lots of extra in shed.
I think the only “complaint” (more like a suggestion) we had was we wish there was a dining set of some sort outside.
Lastly, I have to say that I don’t think I’ve ever left a rental in all my years of renting houses and been genuinely sad and thought to myself, “I can’t imagine never being here again”. Closing that door and leaving was so hard. So I guess that means I just have to come back!

Spent a wonderful week with family at this beautiful property! The space is performing large groups! Each bedroom having an en-suite bathroom made it so comfortable for everyone. The location is great, just a few houses away from an amazing beach. The chair service at the beach was such an appreciated luxury. The shed is stocked with every beach and pool toy that you will need. The kids also loved the outdoor shower and the backyard pool. Inside, the house is beautiful and well organized and labeled. Can’t say enough nice things about this vacation space!

The layout of this home was perfect for myself and 5 girlfriends. One had a knee replacement, so the first floor bedroom was perfect for her and then having 5 king sized beds on the 2nd floor with on suite baths for each. All of the beds were very comfortable. The 3 floor with the bunk beds wasn’t even used. Our weather wasn’t great but the heated pool made it possible to enjoy the outdoor area. We did sit at the beach a couple time, with sweatshirts on. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was very responsive, I did let her know that a few things could have been cleaner and she let me know she has hired a new team that would be starting after we left. It will be a shame when the house across the street will be finished … the beach view will be minimal at that point.

Indoor/outdoor living just a short walk to the white sand beach. Backyard pool is ideal for a big group and the kids barely got out! Big open floor plan on main level and spacious bedrooms with nice bathrooms upstairs. Loft area way up top provides a great retreat for kids and adults alike. Plenty of room to park and great restaurants steps away on either direction, Soleil and Camille’s. Communication with host very quick and easy. Great stay and you won’t regret it either!

Three adult siblings, spouses and a lot of cousins - our best vacation yet. All the couples had a big room, a king bed and bathroom. All the cousins mixed up for nightly sleepovers. Everyone could do their own thing. Some were swimming in the pool, some went to the beach, some went shopping and a lot watched football, snacked and napped. In the evening we had a big family meal.

This is a great house! We had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked and we really enjoyed the Sonos sound system and access to multiple streaming platforms. We could not have asked for a better home to enjoy our company retreat.

This place is simply amazing! I didn’t need anything but my clothes because they had everything else needed. I could go on and on about how clean and beautiful this house was. The pictures don’t lie. It looks just as beautiful as the pictures were when I booked it. If you book here you want be disappointed. Thank you and we will return again!!

Owners were friendly and helpful with everything we needed or wanted regarding our stay from start to finish. The space perfectly fit our group of several families. Our stay at “chill pill” could not have been better. There were a couple very minor issues that the owners quickly resolved. The communication was great and the owners were very friendly! We brought way too much stuff, because they had everything we could have needed for the beach and/or pool. Internet worked great, even with a house full of people and many devices hooked up. The location is great and the outdoor shower is a great addition. Honestly couldn’t be happier and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our large group. House well maintained, clean, and fully stocked. The owner, Dana, was easy to communicate with.

Everything you need
This house has everything you need for a beach stay. We flew into Destin so couldn’t bring beach chairs and water toys. They has it all. Kitchen was fully equipped. The house is large and beautifully decorated. We’d definitely stay here again.

Chill Pill presidents weekend
5 sibling couples had a very nice and relaxing long weekend. Loved the proximity to beach and walking paths. All amenities were great. 90 degree pool, big dinning room for everyone, spacious king rooms, plenty of room for family cooking, 6 bikes, plenty of Adirondack chairs around the pool, comfy beds and linen, overall very nice decor and amenities.

Nothing missing at the Pill !!!
I don’t like giving 5 star reviews because folks who read them increase the competition against me… and will rent them out from underneath me. So it is with Chill Pill. This spot is SO good. Bedrooms, roomy and perfect. The great room with pool table and that indoor shuttle game was so fun to pass the time on cool or stormy days! TWO TVs on opposite ends let us watch nfl playoff AND college basketball while having snacks (kitchen) at our right hand! What a great place to hang! Heated pool in January was just what the Doctor ordered too! And very very easy access across the street to beach without the $ of beachfront! Can’t go wrong with this Pill

Absolutely awesome ... easy rental ... great accommodations ... BIG flat panel TVs EVERYWHERE ... we loved the shuffleboard and pool tables ... Dana was easy to work with and had everything documented (down to travel times to local grocery stores!) ... we can't wait to rent again!!!

Wonderful stay
The home is in a great location. We had a group and had plenty of room and weren’t stepping on each other’s toes. The cleaning crew did an amazing job and worked really hard to get us in the house in time. Really appreciated being able to use the pool while we waited for our check in time. Communication was amazing.

Amazing trip
If you are looking for a perfect place with everything you would ever need on a vacation, book this house. We had 12 adults and 12 kids and we never felt crowded. Very short walk to the beach. We are definitely booking again for next year. Great communication with the owner.

Wonderful Vacation
We had 4 families traveling together from VA. The house was beautiful and perfect for the 11 children (ages 4-14). The pool was enjoyed by all, day and night. There are stores within walking distance for everything you will need. The house is well equipped with kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, etc. We had to communicate with the owner a couple of times for very minor things and Dana responded immediately. We would return to this house again and highly recommend it to family and friends!

Wonderful family reunion home!
We booked this property to celebrate my in-laws 50th anniversary. We had seniors, adults, teens and kids and everyone had a blast! Absolute perfect location just steps to the beach. The pool was also perfect and nice and warm for when the beach seemed cold. Parents were able to stay in large master suite on first floor so they didn’t have to climb up and down steps. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, you name it! The perfect house for a large family getaway!!

We were very happy with our accomodations! Everyone had their own space. Very clean, comfortable. Pool table and shuffle board table were a fun addition. Family loved the proximity to the beach and it was nice to have chairs ready for us on the beach. Heated (had to pay extra) pool was a hit with everyone. Had a couple little things but the owners we very accessable and tried to fix it. Very happy with the house!

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect
We had our annual family reunion in February and I can’t say enough about this house. The pictures don’t do it justice as it is bigger and better than expected. It was cool during our trip so the heated pool was a life saver especially since there were many toys for the children already at the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need and had a lot of room for everyone to eat together. The bedrooms were very nice with beautiful bathrooms in each one. The location is perfect as you are just a few steps from the access to the beach. Dana is wonderful to communicate with and took care of all our needs. I do plan on booking again soon.

Family Christmas
This property was perfect. We had a family Christmas here with the whole family and it was beyond amazing. There was plenty of space for us to spread out but several spots for us to congregate as well whether that was the large kitchen, the pool table/shuffleboard area, the heated pool, or the upstairs living space. Each bedroom had a king size bed and en suite, two of which had tubs, perfect for small children! Everything was amazing and we would absolutely love to stay here again!

amazing family vacation
First time ever we checked into a house and thought it was MORE amazing than the pics!! Beautiful-ample space, fantastic owners- superb location! The only thing we could add to the description- when you lose your mind at the store buying beach toys- you will be sorry- there truly is everything you need at the house! Our family of 21-ages 7 through 60 thoroughly enjoyed our week here. We cooked in for ALL of our meals- the kitchen and eating area were perfect for all of our family! Wonderful home in Destin!!
This was a gorgeous home that was perfectly appointed for a large family looking to have a relaxing time at the beach!! The very hands-on owners really thought of everything a family might need to make the stay perfect! I’ve stayed in lots of rental homes and this one by far exceeded every expectation!! I would definitely stay here again and I would certainly rent from these owners again!! Perfect beach getaway for family and friends!!

50th Anniversary Trip
"Chill Pill" was the answer to what I wanted for this trip. The only thing not on my list was ocean front but it was only a three minute walk to the beach. Everyone had a bedroom with bath and the kids had an amazing bunk room for sleeping and playing.
I won't go into all the house details because everything is explained on Dana's website. I would recommend taking inventory of the shed upon arrival. It seems past guest have left lots of beach/pool toys, umbrellas and floats. You really don't need to bring a thing but your swim suit.
It was a pleasure working with Dana and we will return to this house or will check out her other listings for future travel. Dana knows what travelers want and has done an excellent job of designing the perfect vacation home.
