Clean and well equipped. Close to everything

This is a rare place where the actual property is better than the pictures. 18 of us friends (including teen kids) stayed for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time.
There are tonnes of places to sleep with lots of bedding and a wonderful open kitchen and living area.
Outdoor options are plentiful with a big deck, a fire pit, and an outdoor hot tub.
The appliances were all great with a second fridge so lots of room.
The property is at the end of the road so you don't have any traffic going by. Nice and quiet. (depending what group is next to you)
The improvable points are minor:
- only two bathrooms can feel tight with a large group.
- there weren't nearly enough bowls and spoons for our group.
- a couple of rooms don't have curtains on the windows
- temperature regulation is a challenge where the basement can be freeing at the same time the upstairs is too hot.
Overall this chalet has a great feel, combining a rustic yet modern vibe. I would gladly stay here again!

We were a family group from Ontario and BC. The kids loved the space and outdoor fire pit. The hot
tub a bonus and we made full use of it. An easy
walk to the village was done several times. The chalet was perfect for our family, enough bedrooms for all, a large table that at could seat us all. All in all an enjoyable weekend.

The location is great but there wherelots of bugs , the rooms are very small and the beds was coverd with unwashed blankets without sheets.

This chalet was perfect. We were a group of 14 and had more than enough space. The chalet was clean, easy to access and was beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Great space. Sauna was nice. Couple issues with the hot tub but luckily my friend knew how to fix it and communication with owner was good.

Really lovely chalet with tons of space for a large group. Easy to all hang out in one space or split up to different areas. Only notes to make are that the beds were not too comfy and some of the rooms did not have curtains. The basement could also do with a couch / TV to make it an entertainment space as well. All that being said the photos were very accurate, we loved our stay, location was incredible, communication with owner was immediate and helpful, and we would absolutely stay there again.

A group of 12 stayed at Matt’s cabin. It was perfect for our annual golf weekend. The cabin was clean, secluded from the main roads but close enough that we made it into the village each night.
Beds we’re comfy and there was ample space for us to enjoy the weekend. The hot was good, if I was not picking 2 of the seats jets wouldn’t work on the hot tub. Otherwise this cabin checked all our boxes!
Our group would definitely book this cabin again for our golf trip! Would highly recommend staying here!

My family and I loved the rustic and beautiful feel of the chalet. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with basic essentials for our party of 10 + dog. The hot tub was amazing but unfortunately we could not get the sauna to work for us. Communication with Matt was easy and our few issues we had were resolved (other than the sauna). When we visit Blue Mountain again, we will most certainly look to stay again

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The yard was large and the property was good for accommodating a larger group of friends. The building itself showed signs of some wear and tear, but was great for our needs.

Nicely tucked away at the end of the street so its very private which is nice and its large enough to host a handful of families for those that want to enjoy a get away with the siblings and inlaws!

Very happy with our weekend getaway. The cottage was perfect for our bachelor/bachelorette party and great value for the money compared to other locations in the area. Lots of space, kitchen, living room, bathrooms, deck and fire pit areas were fantastic. Super impressed by the amount of dry firewood provided by the owner, made for great nights around the camp fire. Tip to other renters - bring some extra camping chairs for around the fire and/or up on the deck.

Friends came down for a long weekend in Blue Mountain and had a great time at this place. Property manager was easy to get a hold of and always super helpful. Property is beautiful, would definitely recommend !

First time using VRBO anywhere and we were all very pleased. Had a large group of friends coming from all over southern Ontario for some golf, bbq, and beers on the back deck. We were not disappointed.
Everything was clean and ready for us; the sauna and hot tub were hits and the Ping Pong table was a great addition. We would all definitely come back.
Would also highly recommend Duntroon Golf for anyone interested.

There were enough bedrooms for all of us, and the facilities were great. A modern kitchen and the laundry room were excellent. There was enough space outside for the kids to play and run around, and the fire pit was an added bonus. The village was a 15 minute walk.

We rented the chalet for a girls' weekend in celebration of my niece's 50th birthday. Guests were 11 women betwen 15 and 70 and we all loved the chalet. Key pluses were: lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, two fridges, plenty of space to lounge - yet cozy vibe, and lots of extra touches like kuerig, 4-slice toaster, hot tub, and sauna. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and recommend this rental!

My family and I spent a week skiing and had a wonderful time. The kitchen, living room area could not have been better with 5 kids and two dogs. Location was great. Lots of double bunk beds. One room with a queen. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed!

Clean, well stocked, with easy check in processes. The chalet does show its age in some areas but everything worked, was organized, and easily accessible.

It was spacious with lots of rooms and beds, a sauna and a hot tub (by the front door). About 5 min drive to the blue mountains. A big parking lot and easy check in and check out. I was with my family but the place probably more fitting for big party groups as the place is more relaxed than immaculate. When we got there, the towel laundry was not completed and sheets were provided but not made. I had to do someone else's laundry on my holiday which I didn't appreciate. I msged Matt who apologized and explained that they were short on staff. He offered small refund for the troubles which I appreciated, but then he ghosted me after I checked out. It's been over 2 weeks and I still have yet received the refund Matt offered. Overall, the space was nice but next time I would book the Westin because it would've been about the same price for my group of 11.

Our group of 13 friends had a great time at the chalet! It was exactly what we needed for a big group. Kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking for all of us easy. Ping pong table could use an upgrade but we still made use of it. Would definitely return!

A few technical issues with hot tub & hot water in older chalet but we loved our experience there & hot tub, sauna & ping-pong so fun for our family! Rustic but lovely big "great" room with fireplace kept us warm through a terrible storm! Thnx Matt!!

Everything was awesome. Close to the village so don't have to drive super far. But also the place has awesome space and gives you awesome cozy vibes. My Husband loves it for his 30th surprise.

This review is coming in a little bit late, but a group of my high school friends and I spent the August Long Weekend at this location and it was a wonderful time. The chalet was in great shape, had everything we required, and the backyard was perfect for afternoon games and evening bonfires. Thanks to Matt for being a great host, and if you are looking for a getaway chalet that can accommodate a large group, this is a slam dunk!

Great property close to blue mountain village, very quick walk and even shorter drive in the winter. Checking in was seamless and efficient and the property did not disappoint. We were able to sleep everyone in individual beds comfortably and could easily support a larger group or a mixed group with children if you’re comfortable doubling up!
