We had a great stay, though we only used the movie theater one night. The property is pretty clean and is close to the beach and a few good restaurants. Would stay here again.

Nice theater

Very convenient location. Short drive to the beach with parking available if you don’t want to walk. Very close to tons of restaurants, coffee spots, ice creams, açaí etc. Theater room and arcade came in very handy as we sat through a tropical storm. We would stay again. Enough room for two couples with a few children.

We had a great stay in Kitty Hawk. The house and pool were wonderful and a great space for our family. The only downfall was having to cross the busy road to get to the beach.

Rafael is very responsive. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and right by a 7-11. Loved the home and the theatre was a nice touch. Only thing I wish I could change was more supplies. We only had 2 rolls of toilet paper, there were no shampoo/soap. There was also very little hand/dish soap. But besides that, I recommend this stay! just come supplied.

Overall we had a great time. The accommodations were excellent and clean. We loved the movie theater room. It’s so convenient to beach and nice restaurants. Allowed us to explore the OuterBanks.

This is actually my first stay on VRBO and it was just myself and my fiancee. Everything from the listing was fine. The bed I believe is a queen and not a king -- both of us are 6'2" so we can tell pretty quick compared to our bed at home. The pool looked great even though we didn't use it in March -- Can't ask for better communication -- We only had one small issue but it was quickly resolved. If you have a family with 2-3 kids under15 --- I dont think you could find a better place. It's an easy walk to beach (3 min) -- the 7-11 nearby is great -- the theater room is pretty dang cool.

Kids enjoyed the pool and movie room. Walking to the beach was not preferred since crossing busy highway with very young children seemed unsafe.

Overall it's a nice property with a good location. If you plan to eat out a lot or just heat foods it works fine. Short drive time to shops and restaurants in OBX and Duck. Big open beach across the street within walking distance. I've stayed in every town along the outer banks for years and found this location to have the most available beach space for families to spread out even in July.

Clean and Comfortable

My wife and I had a great visit in Kitty Hawk while staying at the property. The location was excellent, a short walk to the entrance to the beach. In addition we were within two miles of anything you could want from restaurants to grocery stores. The pool on the property was wonderful and on our rainy day we enjoyed the arcade and movie theater. If you like tech gadgets this is the place for you, even had audio from the apartment out to two quality outdoor speakers for the pool area. Highly recommend and if we come back to Kitty Hawk would rent again!

The place was clean, welcoming and well-stocked. My son really enjoyed the arcade and having his very own movie room. The wi-fi worked well and I was able to work remotely. The pool was clean and I felt very comfortable staying there with my family.

Very affordable, convenient, and clean. The private pool, arcade, and movie room were our favorite! Close to the beach and everything else. Easy check in/out and great communication with the owner. We’d definitely stay again!

Great time at this house close to the beach! Very clean and well maintained! The movie room and game machine were life savers when the first half of our week were rained out. Pool was an absolute hit! Very close to the beach, a short walk, and beach parking. Rafael was awesome and was quick to respond to any and all questions. Definitely a great value in a great location!

Our family was so impressed with this home. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and fun to stay in. My kids LOVED the arcade. The theater room was a highlight of our vacation. The one and ONLY complaint we have is not being able to turn down the thermostat any lower than 73. We were warm the entire stay. Other than that, we loved it. We will definitely plan to stay here again for future vacations.

This is the second year in a row I’ve stayed at this property and it was just as great as the first time. Rafael is amazing to deal with. Any questions or concerns you have, he’ll respond to you the same day and usually within the hour or so. Very clean house. Has everything you need for the stay. The pool and hot tub are both extremely private and relaxing. Within walking distance of the 7-11 and tons of restaurants. Best place to stay in the OBX for the price!!! And don’t forget to check out the massive media room when you want to veg out after a day at the beach and watch a movie!

Awesome place to stay at the beach. House was just as described. We loved that it was within walking distance of the ocean front and many great restaurants. The theatre room was awesome and we spent many nights relaxing in the hot tub and heated pool. We will definitely be coming back here again. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend. Overall nice and well maintained. Pros: - private pool - hot tub - close to beach - close to amenities (shopping, food etc...) - theather room was cool - security cameras.. everywhere Cons: - pool was a bit dirty upon arrival (specifically the seats throughout the pool). Only got worse as the week progressed - there was no grill available for guest use. In the guest book it lists where it will be located. When we didn't see it in this location, we looked around and found an older, rusty charcoal grill so wanted to confirm if it was this one. He responded by saying there is no longer a grill for guest use because previous guests continued to leave it very dirty and ruined (2) $70 covers. But then stated we could use that one if it was "okay". My thoughts basically are- if you wanted to continue to make a grill available for use, you would have. So this was a big bummer for me. - a pool guy randomly showed up one day and said he didn't know the place was rented. If you have a regularly scheduled or adhoc appointment for something, a heads up would have been appreciated. - hot tub jets are not powerful. At best it felt like a giant bath tub. I'm not saying it wasn't relaxing, but it could have been better and I wouldnt come back here specifically because it has that. - theater room was nice but not all of the seats work. 1 doesn't recline, 1 doesn't have the vibration. So you have 1/ 3 that fully work in this $35k theater room (I know the price because its listed in the guest book). -mattress in master is SO uncomfortable! You can feel AND hear every single spring. I made it no more than 2 nights before I slept on one of the bunk beds. Dont really want to sleep in a separate bed than my SO- especially on vacation. - the lack of sleeping pillows was surprising. There are 3 total. We each sleep with 2 so added to the overall discomfort. Also, no umbrella on the outside table, so make sure you bring something for cover if you want. Not a con as we had a canopy that we set up, but just a heads up if you decide to stay here. Overall this place was fine, the list of cons and pros are pretty even. But I'd still give 3 stars overall as most of the items in the cons are fixable. I personally wouldn't stay here again unless the mattress was different and an actual grill was made available for guest use.

This was actually our second time visiting this property! It’s just as adorable and CLEAN as we remember. It’s walking distance to the beach and the Black Pelican (one of our fave restaurants) all while feeling like we’re at home away from home! We highly recommend it. We’ll be bringing our kids with us next year! Thanks for such a wonderful experience! It’s 10x better than staying in a hotel! P.S. The movie theater is amazing for rainy days or early nights.

The only couple frustrating things were there is no stove/oven in the kitchen. Only a microwave and a very well used two burner hot plate...2+ hours to cook a pack of bacon. Not much storage for groceries either. No rags for kitchen cleaning, baths etc. But there's a $35,000 dollar theater room. Guess that took up the budget. And 4 bunk beds in 2nd bed room?? I can't imagine saying in with the above mentioned with 4 kids. But just me... I'd consider it.

This is an amazing property! Has everything you could possibly want and then some. Rafael is awesome and always keeps in contact with you, answering any questions within the hour. This place is well kept. Has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Extremely close to restaurants and shopping, within walking distance of the beach. Then you can come back and relax by the pool or in the hot tub. Very private and quiet. For the guys out there, nothing can beat watching a ballgame on the 120” screen with surround sound! I will definitely be back again.....and again.

We rented this unit because of the great price and pool. We were not disappointed! It was extremely clean. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Plenty of dishes,towels and comfort! The pool was the best part but a close second was the amazing theatre room! It also was a close walk to the beach. We had four young boys with us and they were never bored! We loved the fact that we were within walking distance to restaurants and a very short drive to stores. Rafael was very helpful but. Definitely gave us our privacy. I was a little hesitant in renting because he lives upstairs. But I never even noticed that fact while we were there! I recommend this for any family or couple that is coming to OBX!!! You will not be disappointed!

We spent a wonderful time at this rental. The kids had so much fun every night at the pool. The arcade games and movie room were also a great touch. Thanks Rafael for a pleasant stay.

This place is BY FAR THE BEST place we've EVER stayed in! This is our second year returning to this rental and we never want to go anywhere else! We've stayed in huge houses on the beach and we've also stayed in motel rooms, so it's a happy medium in size, but as far as everything else, there's no place better. On top of never wanting to leave the house, the owners are as nice as they can be, they give you your privacy, but are very responsive with any questions or concerns. I didn't even step foot on the actual beach this year and it's the best vacation I've ever had! We're even considering trying to save up and book it for two weeks next year! I cannot say enough nice things about everything inside and out, including the owners. I just wish we would've found it sooner!

We loved this rental in Kitty Hawk. It was a great place for the entire family. We spent a lot of time in the pool and we were within walking distance to the beach. We all enjoyed the theater room and arcade games. The house was very clean and the owner responded right away with answers to any questions. We will definitely recommend this house to friends!

My wife and kids loved this dream house. It is clean, well maintained and prepared with most of thing you might need. We hardly convinced our 4 years old son to leave the house! Rafael was very cooperative with any questioned we had and quickly responded. I will definitely rent it again and recommend it for friends.

I had an amazing stay at this property. When I first walked in, I started checking things out and was blown away! This place is awesome! The private pool, hot tub, grill, patio by the pool to lounge at, the AMAZING theater room, (btw, my wife is going to pass out when I tell her I want one) the living space itself, the master bedroom with king bed, all that is A+ Awesome! I have zero complaints other than why can't I stay longer. The owner is a fantastic person, and leaves you to your privacy, I only ran I to him because my brother and I had some shrimp on the grill and I messaged for help eating so much shrimp! Lol great times, great memories, I will book this house every single time I can when I visit the OBX! Thanks so much!!

This place was perfect for our honeymoon getaway! It had an AMAZING movie room, awesome hot tub - the pool looked nice too but we went in October so it was a bit too cold. Everything was absolutely awesome. My ONLY suggestion would be to add a mattress topper to the king bed for a little extra comfort. Thanks for everything Rafael!

My parents and I came down to stay for a long holiday weekend and this place was perfect. Very clean, everything provided, and beds were very comfortable. The electronics in this place were state of the art and the theater room is stunning. We were in this room every evening enjoying a movie in your own personal movie theater. The pool and hot tub were also great, we enjoyed lounging in/by these every day. The beach is within walking distance and there are great restaurants all around this gem. Will definitely be coming back to this place next year!
