The floors are tiled and so it is a bit cold in winter.

The house has everything you need to make it feel like it’s a home away from home. Beds are comfy and the house is spotless. Secure off street parking for two cars. The homemade rusks and crunchies and fresh milk in the fridge prove that it really is the small things that have the most impact!

Our accommodation and service were of exceptional quality The Host, Marlicia was friendly, helpful, and more importantly accessible. She communicated with us throughout our stay. All of our needs were taken care of including having backup power which was the cherry on the cake. We will certainly be back. Much gratitude to Marlicia and her staff.

We didn’t have longer

The apartment was fantastic. It was super spacious and extraordinary well equipped and nicely decorated. We liked the location in an upmarket area of the town, and loved the little garden. The ongoing load shedding problem in the entire country was managed very well with an electricity backup which worked perfectly. The washing machine was adding to the comfort, and the bathrooms were of great standard.

Our stay could have been longer than just 3 nights...

Amazing house. Spacious, beautiful decor. Very well equipped. Great location. Backup generator so didn't even notice load shedding. Host is very communicative and genuinely looking to give you the best experience. Cannot recommend enough!

perfect location in quiet part of Franschhoek, but short walk into the popular restaurant and shopping streets

The hospitality from the host (Marlicia) was exceptional, the house is beautiful, area is quite, it was clean, the views of the mountain, not really far from the Franschhoek shopping center. . We really enjoyed our stay here. I really recommend this place

very clean. very organised. great welcome and even a lovely bottle of wine as a gift. the beds are super comfortable. every detail has been thought through. generally perfect.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Small Wonder. The house is well located, clean and the attention to small details like providing biscuits/crunchies and make-up removal washing cloths before bedtime, was really appreciated. Our host, Marlicia, was super friendly and easy to communicate with and swift to respond.

It was really exceptionally comfortable and loved the views and relaxing atmosphere and privacy.

Very nice property, open plan upstairs with kitche and lounge flowing into one another which creates a very social setting. Frans the manager/owner was extremely accommodating and polite. A very pleasurable experience overall. We will definitely be back soon!

Great house with a lot of space. Good dining area upstairs, and two nice bedrooms with their own bathrooms downstairs. Great air conditioning in the whole house. Spacious laundry room with dryer. Great garage. Balcony and terrace really enjoyable. 10-15 min walking distance to restaurants, cafés and bars.

- The pool was dirty (it had chlorine in it but leaves and dirt made it too filthy for even considering a dip). - Ran out of WiFi twice during the stay and was told that “this is South Africa” when I pointed out that 4GB for two nights in a house that takes 4 people might not be enough. - The gardener has a key for the gate and we weren’t informed that he would come 9 in the morning, it was a surprise to meet his eyes through the window half naked from my room. - It says check out 9-11 am, but got a hard knock on the door with the question about when we’re leaving already at 10. - The mattresses are a bit hard, but that’s a personal reference.
