The location was perfect for us. Two minutes walk into Bakewell and a recreation ground for dog walk 1 minute walk away.

The apartment was pristine and had everything needed for a holiday even dog bowls and treats.

Excellent location and spotlessly clean. 4 of us stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Netherwood is a very short walk into Bakewell and there are plenty of shops and local garages to get some milk and other provisions as needed. Helen looked after us for our check-in and made sure everything was great during our stay.

So pleased we found Netherwood. The accommodation was spacious and tastefully decorated. Great beds, good quality white linen and large sized fluffy white towels, all add to the high level of comfort at this property. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. We were given a lovely warm welcome from Catherine and Hugh. It’s very dog friendly with a secure private courtyard. A park is just across the road and the shops / pubs / restaurants / river in stunning Bakewell are all a few minutes walk away. Perfect central base for exploring the Peak District. There’s plenty of parking on the drive - we had two cars. Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality. Hope to visit again soon.

The property is absolutely perfect for a relaxing break. The minute you walk in you feel at home, beautifully furnished, spotless clean , every little thing you may need has been anticipated and provided. Beautifully appointed bedrooms with huge comfy beds, crisp white bedding, and 5 star bathrooms. The spacious kitchen is just lovely, so well equipped for whatever you may wish to cook, with beautiful crockery to serve. The view from the welcoming and very comfortable lounge is beautiful . A five minute stroll takes you to the centre of Bakewell with its wealth of welcoming tea rooms, bars,restaurants and shops. Helen who met us to show the accommodation was brilliant, so friendly and helpful, she was so accommodating with times and made us feel so relaxed. Hugh and Catherine who own the property are perfectly lovely, there if you need them but completely unobtrusive. We have enjoyed the most perfect short break and will most definitely visit wonderful Netherwood again
