My family and I LOVED this place!!! It was neat, clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen had all the basics: pots, pans, utensils, even some basic food items. We grabbed a few groceries in town and were able to save on a few meals. The washer and dryer were a godsend! The central air was important for us; we’re from Minnesota and couldn’t handle the heat and humidity, so it was nice to have that relief at the end of the day. The kids had access to Netflix and Wi-Fi so they were never bored. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the porch and talking with the neighbors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a bigger group - there were six of us and we all had plenty of room; I would even rent here again.

Bernard and Laverne were very kind and communicative. We will definitely stay here again. The drive downtown wasn't far at all with our rental car. Thanks for having us!

Great experience

On arrival the property was very clean inside and out. It smelled amazing! The orange provides more than I would’ve expected. Toiletries, soaps, snacks, coffee, all cooking utensils, laundry detergent etc… my family was very comfortable and the house was very welcoming. I will definitely want to stay here again in the very near future🤗

This was a beautiful home very nicely decorated to give you the New Orleans vibe. It was nicely stacked with almost everything you might need. The bottled waters and coffee were a nice touch. Beds were very Comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay. The only negative thing is that traffic into the center of the city was terrible during work hours. But it was easily accessible by ferry. We will definitely stay here again.

This property sits in an older neighborhood and is one of the few that has remodeled and done very well with upgraded appointments. The Hosts / Property Owners are easy to work with and very accommodating.

House was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. House has all the toiletries that you need. No complaints what do ever about the house. It is about 30 mins to most popular places. The neighborhood is okay a little bit of violence, but we did not feel unsafe. I would definitely rent again.

This place is perfect. And plenty of room. It was so nice drinking our coffees in the morning listening to the sounds of Nola.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sliver on the River. The house had everything I needed and more. I was very impressed. Rent this house while in New Orleans. You will not be disappointed!

Easy rental and fast responses . When I first saw the property I thought it would be small. It was big inside, decorated beautifully. We loved our stay.

My family loved the house! It perfectly slept the 6 of us and we loved all of the personal touches in the house. The location was great and we felt safe. The ferry was convenient to take to get to the French quarter instead of paying for parking there. Overall, great place and we would go back!

The Sliver has all the amenities any reasonable person could ask for. It was a the perfect amount of space for our group of four guys. Only about a 15 minute walk to the ferry through a friendly neighborhood. We didn't see our host Bernard, but he always responded in a timely and friendly manner via phone and email. All at an affordable price.

My friends and I were in town for the Occupational Therapy conference and We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean, had 2 full bathrooms and even supplied some bottled waters and snacks. Would definitely reccomend to friends. Thank you Bernard.

The property was nice inside and ou. Just next to a Cemetery!! The neighborhood is effy. The first night someone Was banging on the door and ringing the door bell excessively and aggressive until someone went to door. One girls was so scared the next night she couldn’t even sleep.
