Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für einen schönen Urlaub. Das niedliche Ferienhaus befindet sich auf der Golfseite der Insel und ist 60 Sekunden zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt auf einem ausgewiesenen Wanderweg entlang der Westseite unseres Hauses. Restaurants und Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in die andere Richtung zu erreichen. Der Strand ist an dieser Stelle im Allgemeinen nicht überfüllt und eignet sich hervorragend zum Beschuss und zum Beobachten spektakulärer Sonnenuntergänge. Private Außendusche ist nach einem Tag am Strand großartig. Eine große Terrasse und ein Grill stehen zu Ihrer Verfügung.

The Mermaid Cottage is a unique gem in Pensacola Beach. It has a great location to the beach, shops and restaurants.
The cottages is very well maintained and very welcoming.
It will sleep a family of 6 comfortably. The master has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two full sized beds. The full size beds were VERY FIRM. I'd recommend softer beds. Other than, I love the cottage.
This was my second summer to stay in the cottage.

Great home in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and stores! Very quiet! Well stocked kitchen and supplies! We will definitely be back! Bed was comfortable! Internet worked fine! See you soon!

This house is perfect! My husband and i stayed with our children. Our youngest 2 months. And it was perfect. Fenced in backyard was my favorite. And if course walking distance from the beach.

This house is so cute and comfy, all the things you need, washer dryer, covered back porch, outdoor shower, all I would say is that I should have brought toilet paper and paper towels, while it is provided, it is not enough for the week. Coffee, creamer, laundry soap and dishwasher soap is all provided. I will be back, small little walk to the beach that was never very crowded. I had a wonderful well deserved time. Thanks Ella.

Everything about the home was perfect. Very clean and great communication. If I tried really hard I wouldn’t be able to come up with a single thing to complain about. Everything is right there for an awesome vacation. Plan on going sometime in October and will try to book there again. Just awesome ☺️

It was a short walk to the beach and convenient to all the restaurants. It was clean and stocked with the essentials that you would need. I did have a problem and was contacted immediately. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was in a great location just blocks from the beach and an easy walk or drive to lots of dining options. The communication from the property manager was excellent. We knew exactly when/how to check in and what the expectations were before, during, and for checkout.

We loved how close we were to the beach, and the house was very clean. I would have liked some extra blankets, and it took us quite a while to find the laundry room (had to wash the house towels before we left). Other than that it was a great stay.

The property was easy to find and was very close to the local shops and boardwalk.
The property was very clean and well maintained. The decor was very fun and inviting. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. I couldn't find a toaster. Maybe there was one and I just overlooked it...
The bedrooms were nicely decorated and had soft sheets. I slept in the bedroom with the two beds. The bed closest to the bedroom door is where I slept. It was not very comfortable. It was "ok", I survived...
My niece slept in the second bed closest to the closet. She said that she slept just fine and was comfortable.
My sister slept in the master bedroom, she said that the bed was "ok" and that it was a bit lumpy. It had a pillow top cover on the mattress.
We had a lot of rain and so were forced to be inside. We watched a movie, but it was difficult to get "comfy" on the couches.
The walk to the beach only took about 3 minutes. My niece found several beautiful shells at the beach. We definitely would stay again!

This place was amazing with the hot water outdoor shower, stocked beach towels, and every extra you can think of or forgot to pack. It was perfect for myself, husband, and two young children. There were enough towels and bedding we could keep a good rotation going using the washer and dryer on site. The basic supplies stocked made it easy to cook and make morning coffee. There is a trolley stop right at the end of the block and great restaurants within walking or trolley distance. The mural makes it instantly recognizable for delivery drivers and shuttle people. Straight shot to beach access on a sparsely populated section of beach. Overall, this was a perfect beach base of operations for our family of 4.

Pensacola Mermaid Lounge
The house was perfect for us. A shaded outside area, walking path to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and boardwalk. Close enough to everything so you don’t have to drive but far enough down the beach for a quiet beach experience.

Good things come in small packages!
Was perfect for us! Short walk to the beach, away from the crowds, close enough to downtown to hop the trolley and get anywhere. Ella was very responsive and pleasant. Very relaxing stay.

Totally enjoyed!
Had never visited the Pensacola Beach area and weren't completely sure what we would find. We totally enjoyed our stay at Ella's place, it was perfect for us! Everything was as expected and is in a central location, a easy walk to almost everything we needed, and our pups were very happy! The only negative is that we didn't book our stay for long enough... wish we would have stayed longer! Definitely on our "will return" list!

Great Place, Great Price, Great Experience!
This was just what the doctor ordered! The house sits o the main strip on Pensacola Beach, but it's far enough away so you avoid the throngs of people and noise of the surf shops and restaurants (which were within walking distance.). My family loved the exterior look and we were all happy with the neighborhood, quiet surroundings, and quick access to the beach.
The description of the property said it was a 60-second walk to the beach, but that's only if you walk slowly! Go out the back door, walk across the very spacious deck, go through the back yard, walk across a street and you're setting up your umbrella. The house even has its own outside shower to wash the sand away. It was beyond convenient!
The interior of the house was amazing. Since my wife is originally from New Orleans, she really loved the Mardi Gras memorabilia in the living room. The house features a full kitchen that was perfect for making a few meals and allowed us to save a few bucks from eating at pricey restaurants every night. The master and second bedroom were very roomy and there was more than enough space for the four of us.
All in all, we loved the time we spent here and would definitely stay here again!

Mermaid Cottage
My daughter, her boyfriend , our dogs, and I had a wonderful vacation in this home. I love the older beach cottages. It was very clean and cozy. I cook a lot, and kitchen had everything I needed, also a great gas grill outside. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. Also, the location is great. Walk to the beach was n ok r bad at all, and we were about 1/2 mile from most restaurants, gift shops, boardwalk. I would love to stay here again. The only negatives were the central area was set on vacation mode. We could turn the thermostat down, but it never got below 74 degrees, so we would wake up hot in the middle of the night. I did not call because it seemed to be in a preset vacation mode. Also, there was a WiFi camera in the living room. We just disconnected it while we were there.

Mermaid House
The Mermaid House is a quaint and cozy beach house. It is a very quick walk to the beach, with a paved path that goes right to an entrance. The house was clean with all the basic amenities. The fenced in backyard was nice for our dog. And the covered patio was nice if it rained. We spent most of our time at the beach, so it was a nice house to get home to.

Great price, super location. Just as advertised
For the price of a hotel room, you get a house to yourself. Always the way to go. A bunch of facebook friends of my wife who are Pensacola regulars were so jealous we got to stay in the Mermaid house. Thanks Ella!

Wonderful Vacation
We were actually stunned with how adorable the rental is. The pictures do not do it justice. It was big and roomy and the outdoor shower and access to the laundry room was amazing. The owner had provided so many extras, beach items, toiletries, etc. The walk to the beach was super short and absolutely gorgeous. We have been to Florida many times, but this vacation was the absolute best. We will return.

Perfect Girl’s Trip!
We’re always looking for the perfect quiet spot for our annual girl’s trip, and this did not disappoint! A short walk to the beach, and the perfect location in the private home area, but close enough to the action. The house is charming and comfortable. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Beach vacation for Blue Angels weekend
We had a great time staying at the mermaid house. Walking distance to all the main Beach attractions and only 5 minutes to the beach on a sidewalk. The mermaid house is cozy, nicely decorated and makes a beach stay very easy. We really enjoyed the large partially covered deck. All the amenities were included just like being at home. Not really fancy just really nice family style.

This place is a gem
This was our second trip to the Mermaid house in 8 months. For the price you can't beat the proximity to the beach and all the shopping/restaurants in the area. Bring your bikes b/c you won't have to drive anywhere unless you go back over the bridge. Loved watching the Blue Angels from Fort Pickens!!! Thanks for another great stay Ella.

Great location, easy to find and in the middle of everything, clean and welcoming
This is exactly like the ad says, except pictures do not do it justice, much better than pics. We really enjoyed our stay and was great for our poodles. Host is very quick to respond to any questions. Easy check in, we would stay again. If you want to be close to what Pensacola Beach has to offer, this is the best location! Loved!!!

Mermaid house
Great location right on the Pensacola Beach island. Short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was very handy for washing the sea water and sand off. Loved it.

Bring your bikes and stay a while.....
Three streets behind the house (2 min walk) and your toes are in the sand on a secluded part of the beach. The outdoor shower in the afternoon was a nice perk. It's a 5-10 min bike ride to all the restaurants and shopping. We ate breakfast every morning outside under the covered deck, and loved the swing at night. Papa's Pizza, Peg Leg Petes, and Flounders were our favorite places to eat. This place has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Pensacola. We'll definitely be coming back to the Mermaid House.

Grateful!!
We are so grateful that Ella allowed us to rent her sweet cottage. We had just been displaced from our home because of hurricane Michael. We needed a place to regroup, shower and be a family. The cottage is so convinent to the beach, shopping and great restaurants!!! We would highly recommend this cottage to any family with small kids or a couple that needs a quick getaway! 😊�
