Schritte zum Sand! In günstiger Lage im Viertel Crystal Shores bietet unser Haus das Beste, was das Viertel Crystal Beach in Destin zu bieten hat. Unser Haus befindet sich in der Nähe des beheizten Swimmingpools in der Nachbarschaft und ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom öffentlichen Strandzugang von Hutchinson entfernt (ergänzt durch Außenduschen, öffentliche Bäder und eine Rettungsschwimmerstation). Crystal Shores ist ein luxuriöses weißes, eingezäuntes Viertel in der Nähe der weißen Sandstrände und dennoch in der Nähe des Einkaufszentrums Destin Commons. Es bietet zahlreiche Unterhaltungs- und Speiseoptionen, die Sie sicher lieben werden.
Das Haus verfügt über eine große Terrasse, eine komfortable Veranda, einen privaten Hauptbalkon, einen ruhigen Garten und bietet folgende Schlafgelegenheiten: (1) ein Queen-Schlafzimmer und (2) ein angrenzendes Queen-Schlafzimmer, getrennt durch ein komplettes Badezimmer das Erdgeschoss. The host was excellent with responding yo us in a timely manner.
The house was not that clean.
The equipments/pots/pans/floor were not clean or presentable.

We brought our 2 kids and their families. 6 adults and 3 kids aged 6, 9 and 12. The house was perfect for us. Our only complaint is the air conditioner couldn't keep up with the heat and it was HOT out. Short walk to the beach and close to all the action in town. Overall a great experience! everything

This was our 12th year staying in and around Crystal Beach. We love Crystal Shores neighborhood! The location can’t be beat! This property was definitely not as advertised! This home is in dire need of a deep cleaning!! The carpets need replaced and have a musty smell. There is MOLD visible outside the master shower! This needs addressed! Shelves are broken, doors need repainted and are chipping and the light by the laundry room works when it feels like it. We had to purchase some pans during our stay because the ones they claim they provide are rusted and shouldn’t be used. I could go on…this home needs updating in all areas and the mold addressed! I have never felt the need to write a review before this!

Great location, clean and quite neighborhood. Everything worked at the property. Everyone had a great time there. The house could use a little tlc, but it did not effect our experience there. We would definitely stay there again.

This property is in the perfect location and seconds from the beach and shopping! Pool is right across from the house as well made it so convenient.

As all previous reviews I agree it is a great location and owner responsive. Also many people mentioned in need of a deep cleaning. It definitely needs cleaned! The walls and doors, like the pantry door, grossly dirty. The deck splintered and nails sticking up. Lots of homes with this great location so I’d recommend looking for one with better reviews on cleanliness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crystal Delight!! The loved sitting on the porch watching the world go by. The kitchen was amazingly stocked and there were plenty of toys to take to the beach. We loved the short walk to the beach. The house could use some updates and a good cleaning.

Lovely place, well stocked. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. Great proximity to the beach. Used some of the pantry items, left some as well. Would have given more stars for cleanliness, not that it wasn’t clean, linens and towels were fine and it was clean. Just needs a little more work. A little more TLC.
Would not hesitate to rent it again.

This is the second time we stay at this property, this year the house seemed not as clean. Walls, doors etc. wife dropped phone in couch and food and crumbs all in the cracks. Living room furniture needs updated.

This is hard to beat for the combination of rental size and walk to the beach location. Traffic in Destin is a big issue so this central location for all needs and activities east and west helped for all our needs. A problem with the new HVAC system was resolved in a timely manner. The quiet street in an otherwise busy resort town is much appreciated.

House was a perfect size for our family (us with our adult kids & small grandchildren). Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of extras to use for the beach (chairs and toys). We loved the location.... close to the pool, safe area, clean & quaint neighborhood. Owner is great to respond quickly to any messages, needs, concerns. Very helpful. The only complaints we had were the beach area was very crowded as it is a public beach area, and the house is in much need of A DEEP clean!! Could use some updates too, beds were not very comfy (several of us have had backs and it was a little rough for that), but nothing we couldn't overlook. Overall, we would stay here again. Easy walk to the beach, and we had 3 kids under age one!

Crystal Delight was the perfect home for our Destin vacation. We had a family of six ranging from 7 months to 80 years old and we all loved it! It was very spacious! One teen loved having the third floor to herself. The other teen enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed. The master bedroom was amazing!!! So much room and space. And the 80 year old enjoyed staying on the main floor as to not have to navigate steps. It was perfect and still room for more.
It was a very short walking distance to the beach. In fact, at other beaches I would say the walking distance from Crystal Delight to the beach would be similar from the parking lots to the shore. There were lots of beach toys, buckets for building sand castles, rakes, shovels, beach chairs, a beach ball, a wagon to pull it in and so much more.
We can’t wait to book our next vacation at the same home and have already shared with extended family who also look forward to staying there for their next Destin vacation.

Had an amazing, quiet visit in Destin post Labor Day. We were a block and a half away from beach. The pool was directly across the street and the house for our family perfectly. It was pur first trip. We would go back again in a heartbeat.
Only drawback for us was a non functioning outdoor grill, patio umbrella and the ice maker did not work. It did not stop us from having a great time.

The house was just as listed! LOVED the quaint neighborhood and easy pool and beach access. The property owner was so kind and responsive to anything we were curious about/questions we had. My favorite was all the seating in the kitchen/open concept living room as it was easy for us to share meals, play board games, etc! We definitely recommend this home/property! Thanks David SO MUCH!!!! We had THE BEST time!

There is a very short walk to the beach, and plenty of shopping and activities within a short drive. The host was accommodating, and the property was clean and well kept. Wifi was spotty, but didn't really notice except for the rainy day we stayed in and relaxed

Positives: lots of space, kitchen well stocked, close to the beach and neighborhood quiet. Pool across the street and easy to access other parts of Destin.
Negative: needs a deep clean for the floors, walls, bathrooms etc and refresh of furniture as well as other items. The living room rug needs to be washed or replaced. Most of the beach furniture needs to be replaced. Towels for kitchen and bathrooms need replaced.
Will need to purchase more basic supplies for more than 2 days; i.e. toilets paper, soap, and pack your own beach towels, none provided!

Family of 7 adults and 2 small kids spent a week at this lovely location. The proximity was a lot closer to the beach that we expected. It was a quick and easy walk to the public beach. We had no trouble accessing the beach. There were a couple updates that could of made the home more appealing but nothing that hindered our stay. It was also in very close proximity to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

We had a great time at time! The property owner was very responsive!! He took care of any issues right away. We got in with no problem. We were so close to the beach, just a short block away! There is a grocery store nearby and many other stores. The house is well stocked and had plenty of places for our party of 10 to sit. We would stay there again!!

We had 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 kids ages 6 down to 3. This house is fit us comfortably, and perfect location to make a short walk to the beach. We plan to come back later this year or next year!

The house was clean, had plenty of room, and was great for the price. Tables and chairs on the deck and porch. Easy walk to the beach. Lots of beach toys, chairs, etc. Community pool was nice and clean.
Ice maker did not work in refrigerator and there were no ice trays!! Only two dish towels in the kitchen!! Could have used more hangers. The shower head upstairs was not adjustable. It would be nice to control the flow of the shower head downstairs.

The process was easy. Upon getting to our VRBO we were able to get in easily. Was a little disappointed of the overall cleanliness. We took a pan out of cupboard that hadn't been cleaned. The upstairs chairs were very dirty. The ceiling had spots that obviously had leaks. The general upkeep is not being done. Other than that pool was right across the street and the beach was a two minute walk. . Beautiful area.

Property is exactly as described. Easy walking distance to pool (right across the street), ocean and numerous eating venues and shopping. Easy drive to Fort Walton for other activities too.

This house is so close to the beach, and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood! David was such a great host, and so understanding when we had car problems and couldn’t leave on time. Highly recommend staying in this home as you won’t be disappointed. The overall size of the home was perfect for the 10 of us (5adults and 5 children 4-12).
Oh and did I mention that the community pool is literally right across the street from you? Also, Destin Commons was a nice outdoor shopping area within walking distance.

The house and location of the property was great. The owner provided all the necessary items on the home to make me my getaway perfect. Those items included kitchen utensils, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and an outdoor grill. Most definitely would VRBO this property again.

Great stay and great location. 3 minutes to the beach and heated pool right across the street. Near a lot of great dining and shopping as well. Perfect for families.
