Really enjoyed our stay. Great location in Eastsound! Some noise from restaurant next door, but not too bad.

This property was perfect for our small family of three. Our daughter loved walking down to beach, and we enjoyed the convenient location with excellent views. We had a car, which was helpful for visiting Moran Park and going on excursions. But we were able to walk to dinner, shops & the grocery store. Our only mistake was not booking more nights - 2 nights is too short on Orcas Island!

The Leeward Studio is hands down, our favorite place to stay on Orcas! This was the fourth time my husband and I visited, and each time it just gets better. So clean, comfortable, and convenient. Nice, thoughtful touches, and a very responsive host. Every detail is well thought out. Right in the heart of Eastsound on the water’s edge and right across from Brown Bear Bakery!

Great studio overlooking the water. Plus, right in town but quiet. Location next to a restaurant so fans and venting from there created some smells and noise floating into this rental. But not an issue overnight.

Fantastic little place right on the waterfront with amazing view and middle of the little town. Very European decor and we had everything we needed. The noise from the adjacent restaurant at night was a bit loud with windows open. And the door slamming from the other units was annoying. Other than that it was really great and we would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant studio unit above the water. It was clean, quiet, with three units up and one down. We ate in for breakfast and lunch, but had dinner at Madrona restaurant next door. Good location for walking around Eastsound, driving to hike in Turtleback Preserve, and drive to Olga and around the island.

I had never been to Orcas Island but wanted to stay in a spot on the water while in town for a wedding and this was great! I did not realize that it was right downtown when I made the reservation so I was very surprised and pleased when I arrived and realized I would be able to walk to everything no problem. I would definitely recommend this spot to a friend.

The loft was exactly what we were looking for after backpacking in the Cascades. Great location! The view was definitely the best part. Being able to do laundry was also a really great perk. Would definitely recommend!

The view could not be prettier; we spent every morning and evening on our (very) small balcony overlooking the water. And, the location was great, Down the stairs and out the door; voila, we were in Eastsound’s bustling, creative ‘city’ center, a stones throw from shops and eateries. Given the proximity to everything ( including a very nice grocery store and pharmacy), the space was surprisingly quiet.
Downsides? The space is narrow and thus felt small, although once we got acclimated, it was just fine. Service was a bit spotty, the bed a little soft - - for us, and the furnishings worn and a little tired especially the somewhat rickety little table and chairs on the balcony. The carpet definitely needs a deep cleaning, But it was great having a washer dryer just outside out door. And, the little kitchen provided us with just enough of what we needed to cook several meals at home. We had plenty of fresh towels and a comfortable clean bathroom.
If luxury comfort is your thing, this place might not suit you. If a comfortable space, with a great view and a great location are your priorities, this place will suit you well. We had a very happy visit to Orcas Island, and as our home base, the accommodations were very nice.

We very much enjoyed our 4-day stay at SeaStar Lofts. The location right on Main St. was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, and other local attractions. Parking was available close by. We had one issue checking in, but were able to reach someone by text and the problem was solved immediately. If you are planning a stay on beautiful Orcas Island, I highly recommend SeaStar Lofts.

Location was great. Close to groceries, Brown Bear Bakery, and a great independent bookstore. Super walkable. Many good restaurants. Right in the water with a private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place.

This condo is in the heart of the small village on Orcas. We were so close to everything and our balcony was right over the water with amazing views. It was quiet and very comfortable!

Third or fourth time we've stayed here. Great condos in an even greater location. On the water, nice view, walking distance to everything in town. Stayed with sister-in-law/husband and friends. Arrived Thanksgiving night, prepped a small turkey dinner, the kitchen made it easy to heat up. Owners are responsive and take pride in the location. Very clean and well appointed. Will continue staying here when we visit Eastsound.

This was the perfect small apartment right in the middle of the shopping & dining area on Orcas. Clean, cute, with a view over the water. Very comfy bed, bedding & pillows. Interior decor was lovely. Orcas is so gorgeous! We spent the day hiking & sightseeing, then were able to take just a few steps out the door to choose from a number of great dining choices. The whole town is walking distance from this apartment.

The view from the balcony was lovely. The studio is comfortable and layed out nicely for two people. Plenty of organized space for all our things. Loved having TWO luggage racks! The bathroom has a very deep soaking tub, lots of natural light and thick white towels. We didn’t cook any meals; only sliced fruit and made tea; the mini kitchen had what we needed. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. There are three studios on the second floor with a conveniently located shared, well stocked laundry closet. Commercial space is on the first floor of the building. Parking is free and one block over. The only two minor dings from a complete five star stay was the stained carpet (which may be getting upgraded to hard surface as I type this) and confusion checking in (housekeepers finishing up had not yet put the information sheet in the location stated in the email). We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

One of the best locations and views on Orcas if looking for a place for 2. Lots of special extras - binoculars for looking around Eastsound Bay (we watched a sailboat run aground!), white noise machine, local coffee grounds provided (yum!). I give it 10/10 (and I’m pretty picky ;)

At night and during a little storm it was lovely to sleep to the sounds of the water. Yet we went out the front door and there was a pub, restaurant, bookstore, and bakery---right there! Very pet-friendly and kind manager Sara!
