Jade was a brilliant host, very friendly and met us in person to explain everything. We had some welcome food and milk in the fridge on arrival. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy with all the mod cons you needed. We visited in November, but would definitely have enjoyed the outdoor courtyard in hotter weather. There was underfloor heating, high quality bedding, great shower, comfy sofa and a digital movie channel for after the pub. We enjoyed the lovely mix of new and vintage touches. We were only there a couple of days but made use of the local walking maps, dinner at The Lamb pub was great, as was the (very) local Indian takeaway food. We didn't need to drive anywhere and it was a lovely place to relax and chill out. A bit of a hidden gem.

Home from home, very comfortable and beautifully furnished

Although the host had been unexpectedly called away we were met by a lovely lady called Sarah at the property with the keys who let us in and showed us around the property.

Delightful cottage, with a lovely host who has thought of every detail. Comfortably equipped and beautifully furnished. Tucked away in a quiet corner with its own courtyard yet central to the village.

Everything was thought of, it was extremely clean and comfortable. Jade even left some goodies for us on arrival, we didn’t indulge because we had our own things with us just in case but was extremely sweet of her.

Really cosy, very peaceful with a great pub within walking distance.

Cottage is well located, beautifully decorated, has all the misc for comfortable stay, I enjoyed radio in the lounge, courtyard is a great bonus with fairy lights at night.

Tall person need to be careful - door frames are low as with all old cottages.

Beautifully presented, cosy and immaculately clean property. Lots of lovely personal touches and welcoming from the host. Smart use of an intimate space to give you everything you need whilst keeping it modern and homely. Lovely little courtyard garden and completely private.

Bijou & beautifully decorated cottage with secluded courtyard garden, it was an ideal location for a 2 night stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the friendly host had kindly left some snacks & essentials. We found it very comfortable, relaxing & peaceful. The village is attractive with a few shops and an excellent pub/ restaurant. It's an ideal location from which to visit nearby Arundel, beautiful countryside & the coast.

Everything about this cottage is thoughtfully presented with personal touches and quality products and facilities. It was beautiful, comfortable and everything we could have wanted was there at our finger tips. The hostess was attentive and kind. The location was stunning with access to the beaches and water activities very nearby. Altogether, my favourite booking for a very long time.

A beautiful property perfectly presented with everything you need and a very high standard. A lovely welcome from the host who goes above and beyond to make your stay as good as it can be. The cottage is located in a good location with easy access to many places both coast and country. A nice courtyard garden to enjoy and an easy walk to the pub and village shops.

Nothing practically perfect

Really nice, cosy cottage. Excellent for a weekend getaway. Host provided lots of extra unexpected touches which really made everything feel special. Host was also great at getting back to us and providing lots of information in the run up to our stay.

We can't think of anything we didn't like!

The little cottage is beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was well equipped. When we arrived we found that Jade had put a pizza in the fridge in case we needed something when we arrived.

Very clean and well looked after, cosy, every detail considered - there was even milk in the fridge and some snacks.

I emailed a few places in advance to see if they would turn their wifi OFF. The only (and very quick) positive response was from Providence Cottage. Very peaceful quiet, lots of excellent 'treaty' touches. I felt like i had a 're-set after just two days stay here'

Nothing i didnt really like. The only thing i can say is that the price was way over what i would normally pay as i normally camp for a fiver or so a night. So it was a real treat and nothing to complain about at all.

Very friendly and helpful host. The property is perfect for 2 people and is amazingly well set up, comfortable and cosy without being 'twee'. We only had 2 days there but would have stayed for a week if we could.

The easy chair in the kitchen, better with a second dining chair - but a minor point.

Jade’s cottage is exquisite! Beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated, we had a wonderful stay. We especially LOVED the heated floor in the bathroom and the gorgeous White Company bed linen. The rest of the cottage is amazing too. Cute kitchen if you want to self-cater (plus Jade provides cake, eggs, bread, butter and milk to get you started), comfy living room, TV in both living room and bedroom (note it isn’t wifi enabled so you can’t stream Netflix, Prime etc), plus Bose sound system and digital radio if you want to relax with some music. The cottage is also very private and quiet. It was a real retreat and we left for home feeling refreshed and recharged. Thank you Jade, we hope to be back.
