This place was perfect for our family vacation; this condo did not disappoint! It was well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed and more. The view is amazing. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and several great places to eat. This little part of Solana Beach seems way less crowded than other San Diego beach communities that we have stayed in. Would love to stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Beautiful views, all necessary kitchen items, and short walk to beach and playground. We really loved this place, and ended up staying an additional week. Also, the property management company, Stubbs, made the process seamless and were always responsive and helpful with any questions.

We stayed with 2 young kids. The amazing views and sound of the waves gave 2 tired parents a welcome reprieve! The pool and Fletcher beach with playground keep our 2 kids very happy. The apartment is lovely and easy to manage. There are not any toys so bring your own. There was a couple of step stools plus a booster seat that made life easier. There is a very bright light outside the front door that shines into the bedroom that cannot be turned off so if you have kids bring some black out blinds! Overall fantastic location, highly recommend staying here.

For example, 2 years ago the unit we rented had a plumbing issue and we had to leave. Tyler and Jennifer found us other accommodations within the complex and moved all of our belongings not once, but twice. I have often commented that if we were renting a VRBO or AirB&B we would have been on our own or headed back to Michigan.
I would not consider any other rental resource in the San Diego area.

This is in a great location -5 minute walk to beach. It’s a big hill or stairs but totally manageable as well as unavoidable given you’re on the bluff. We loved our patio view. Beach rental for umbrellas is cheap and on the corner. We loved walking to dinner and got breakfast a few times at the Naked Cafe. If you like Mexican food drive to Rudy’s. The place needs to be cleaned and have items replaced. Our feet turned black due to the kitchen floor and the sliding doors to the balcony are literally falling apart. They filled with webs and bugs too. Patio furniture is in need of an update. Kitchen was very dirty. Crumbs and splattered food. I expect clean given we pay for it and are asked to leave it clean. It was very disappointing. Bathroom had hair in shower and on walks, sheets had holes. The rental company was nice and tried to remedy the clean but their crew must. It understand what clean means. This rental is not typical in that you are asked to dump all food. This means the basics such as condiments and such are not in the fridge. If you are cooking you’ll want to buy that if needed. We appreciated the chairs in the closets and truly loved the location. I

Beautiful comfortable condo. The highlight was watching dolphins right from the livingroom.

This location is amazing. My family and I can’t wait to visit again. There are so many fun eateries and restaurants within walking distance. Easy beach access as well. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was very clean and well manicured. The condo was perfect, had everything we needed and served the purpose of our vacation.

The only item I would change is the rugs which although clean give the impression of being dirty and very old. The decorations could also improve and the sofa in the living room could be more comfortable. There is need for a proper mirror in the bedroom and another side lamp.
The activities in Solana are restaurants which we found at least six which were good and writhing walking distance. Del Mar and Cardiff by the sea have also many more. Bicycle riding is an option as there are several rental shops around. Surfing is a must. Walking or running on the beach is fantastic. A perfect spot.

This condo in Surfsong was perfect for our vacation. The location is stunning, with a white water view from the outside patio. In fact we spent much of our time having meals and just relaxing on the deck. The beds were very comfortable, with nice bedding. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The complex sits on the bluff above one of the best surfing spots in Southern California. The complex is quiet and upscale.

Wonderful condo with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Some items need replacing for wear & tear.

This is a lovely condo that we also stayed in 2 summers ago. It could just some TLC-the dining chairs are all ripped (probably from wear & tear). Also, the glass fence outside is SOOO dirty that it inhibits the lovely view of the ocean. The carpeting also could use a good cleaning. The setting though is awesome!

Positive: Location, top-of-the-line appliances, condo layout, responsiveness of property management. Thanks to Jennifer and Tyler who did their best address issues as they arose.
Negative: Our opinion as owners of property rentals elsewhere, is that this unit was not rent-ready. Our family has stayed in many beach home rentals over 3 decades--this one had more issues than all combined! Condensed version: electrical/wiring must be inspected before re-renting as several outlets did not work and one buzzed/flashed sparks as we plugged in our cell phone charger. The microwave did not work properly and we had use of it only about 1 week of our stay ( although the repairman was there 3 times); we waited for the new microwave that did not arrive before we checked out. The handyman came on day 8 repaired the inoperable outlets including in both baths, removed the door in the master bath to repair and return the next day, removed the inoperable folding doors on the laundry, attempted to fix the gas BBQ but basically pronounced it dead (after we had refilled the empty tank), various cleaning issues that required staff to return. Vacuum cleaner did not work properly and a new one was ordered and delivered. We replaced the batteries in 2 of the 3 smoke detectors to stop the beeping. Sliding door in master needs attention as it must be lifted to open/close.
