Lovely house with everything we needed in a great location!

This property was very clean and well stocked. Big enough to accommodate our family group of 3 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children. Well located in a quiet suburb with two nearby shopping centres. Would highly recommend.

The house was lovely thank you - clean and quiet, well laid out, and in a good location. It was a perfect base for our trips to MONA, the city, and Port Arthur. Would definitely stay again.

Group of seven people, house was comfortable, clean and close to shopping centre. Rooms were spacious and we liked the fact there was a TV in each bedroom so that we could all have some space when needed. Everything there that you would need for a stay. My only question would be that our original booking was for 9 people, then we changed to 7. I am not sure where the other couple would have slept, unless the couches were used as beds. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Only 15 mins drive from Hobart waterfront - easy access to local shops only a couple of mins drive away.
House is spacious with plenty of room - we had a group of seven needing 4 bedrooms and felt well spaced without being crowded. Immaculately clean everywhere - couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend this property as a great house for a family group or group of close friends and would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of seating for the eight of us, we could enjoy dinner all together and all sit on the couch.

Beautiful renovated home in a level block. Walking distance to the shops. Clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen. Large spacious rooms with very comfortable queen size beds. Definitely will stay there again when in Hobart.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ellie's house. Beautifully furnished and outfitted it was a wonderful place to stay whilst we explored Hobart. Backyard with the netball ring and netball was a bonus too. An easy, clean space for the kids to run around and us to relax when not doing the tourist stuff. Thank you Mark and Miriam for an amazing stay!

A wonderful find. So much more personal than in hotels and motels. These hosts open up their own house with TLC and welcome you. They can even remove rubbish from premises if you want this otherwise non-intrusive.

Great property, convenient location close to essential shopping. Very clean. It was nice to have enough lounges and dining chairs for 8 adults. Larger outdoor furniture and BBQ would have made this house absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent accommodation for 2 couples and 2 single seniors. In Close walking distance to groceries and liquor store chemist et al. Kitchen had all necessary cutlery, kitchen tools, pots etc 5-10 minutes walk to bus stop for bus to downtown Hobart which we used 3/times otherwise used Uber. We stayed 10 days . I recommend highly. Also our flight was in early and Mark was able to have the house ready early for us by a couple of hours

This property is superb. Meticulously clean with everything you could possibly need available. Beautiful bedrooms and lounge areas. There is nothing I can suggest that would have improved our stay. Warmest thanks to the hosts.

We found easy access to local shops and a quick drive to the city centre. The host were very obliging for our check in request. Very neat home, after travelling for a few days with our small group it was nice to have loads of space

Great House Great Location Great Host!
Thankyou to Mark and Miriam for hosting us, the house was very modern and clean, and we were very spoilt with TVs and electric blankets and heaters in each room, heated towel racks in the bathrooms and some basic items in the pantry that we were able to use. The house is conveniently located near the Glenorchy shopping precinct (about 5min drive) and about 15-20min from Hobart CBD. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Hobart.

Fabulous place!
Many positives to mention…so much to like: cleanliness, proper espresso machine, layout, size, comfort, temp, proper espresso machine, lighting, double blinds, tv’s, well appointed kitchen, entry and exit lockable sliding gates, did I mention proper espresso machine…love my coffee…can you tell? There was a slight knock in the master bedroom ensuite exhaust fan which would be better if not there, and that wonderful espresso machine benefit greatly with the addition of a knock-box, and I’m not a huge fan of fake grass, although I understand why it’s been used here), but overall, I found ‘Ellie’s House’ absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place
We were a family of 4 adults, and each enjoyed our own bedroom, however this beautiful house can easily accommodate 9 people (beds for 9, sofa seating for 9, dining seating for 11). There’s also a lot of parking in the driveways. Each room had a split system air con/heater, comfy linens and the bathrooms were fab. The hosts were great, and we highly recommend this fabulous place! We hope to return one day 😀

Amazing home
We loved our stay at such a beautiful house. Each room is set up so well. The back deck is great. We loved the coffee machine. The view outside of Mount Wellington is so captivating. Perfect place to stay and explore Hobart and surrounds. We appreciated the hosts attention to detail. Stunning.

We walked in to the light on and the heat pump was on so made us feel very comfortable.There was also chocolate biscuits in the pantry.We are a group of five from New Zealand and have already referred this property to family here in NZ and Australia.We loved this house and it was so close to Hobart centre.

Modern, very comfortable and spacious house
With three adults and three children this spacious, well equipped house was so nice to return to each day after sight seeing around Hobart. Located within short walk to shopping centre and with large tvs in each of the four bedrooms. Kitchen was great and we prepared a few meals there. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is awesome in every aspect of home away from home. It has all the comfort and convenience a holiday home can offer. All the features are amazingly comparable to a 4 star hotel. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay for holiday in Hobart.

This place is perfect for the family. Spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, activities for the kids and within walking distance to the shops and cinemas.
So many thoughtful touches including some yummy treats and all the necessary cooking essentials to get through each meal.
The place was clean, tidy and modern. The outdoor entertaining area was perfect for a BBQ in Summer.
