We were looking for a place that was upscale, clean, comfortable, walkable, and had access to a beach. We found all that in our stay here. Predictability is important on a relaxation vacation and the unit, location, owners, and communication were all as described. Thank you!

We have been fortunate to stay in several cottages within Mashpee, but the location and decor of this cottage put it near the top of our travel experiences. Tom and Laura are very responsive and ensure you have everything you need within their cottage to make for a great vacation getaway. We were sad to leave, but will certainly be returning!

Renovated, well equipped and well maintained cottage unit at Maushop Village. Steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants. It is an end unit with grass on one side, front and back patios, a Viking range, Subzero fridge, tiled bathrooms and even little touches like bathrobes - all of which make it more "high end" than most similar options. Not for families with young children, but ideal for those seeking relative quiet and sophistication.

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable and is conveniently located near the beach access. It is nicely decorated and lovingly care for. Tom and Laura have taken great care to make sure that you have everything you need during your stay, making it very easy to "settle in" immediately. It is clear that they care very much about the property and assuring your stay is perfect. We had a great stay at the cottage and look forward to returning next year.

The property was as described by the owners. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and cooking utensils and all appliances were top of the line. The cottage furnishings were very comfortable and lovely. This would be our first choice for a return stay in New Seabury.

We loved our stay at Maushop village, this was our second year at this cottage. Great location, clean, very cozy. We enjoyed the beach, restaurants, weather and everything around this place and can’t wait to be back. Hosts were very supportive and responsive.

The house was beautifully decorated, very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to make our week at the beach restful and relaxing. The property was very quiet and the view of the ocean in the morning from the patio was so peaceful. The air conditioners were a welcomed site on the few muggy nights we had.

We had the most fabulous stay at the Cottage! The owners - Tom & Laura - thought of everything to make our stay wonderful! The cottage was so cozy and comfortable - a true Cape getaway! The location was perfect as it was so close to the private beach and a short drive to great shopping and restaurants. We hope to be back next year!

We stayed at Tom & Laura’s property and it was as nice as a 5 Star Hotel!!! They greeted us to show us the property and the amenities were too numerous to mention. Beautiful Beach House
We enjoyed our week at this beautiful beach house that is lovely decorated with plenty of amenities including a well supplied kitchen. It is located on a private road and a short distance to the private beach and marketplace. Very relaxing and comfortable, it has everything you need. Thank you for the gift basket and for sharing your house with us. Looking forward to renting again.

Cozy perfect getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The place is exactly shown as listed in the pictures. We particularly enjoy the close proximity to a private beach, the view of the ocean from the cottage, and the patio to enjoy a meal. Tom and Laura also made sure the cottage is fully stocked - having the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, a cooler and even some beach toys made packing so much easier. Thanks for hosting us!

Great experience with heavenly weather!
Tom and Laura’s cottage felt very homey, not like a rental, and was a welcome respite from our Houston heat. Tom was super responsive before and during our stay and was happy to answer any questions. The front patio provided a very relaxing spot and good view for drinks and meals. Furniture was very comfortable. We will definitely be back. Worthy of a five star review!

Perfect early October getaway!
This cozy cottage was perfect for two couples on an early fall trip to Cape Cod. Tom and Laura met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage and answered any questions we had. They left a lovely welcome basket with a bottle of wine and other goodies. The neighborhood was very nice with easy access to the beach. The house was clean, nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with supplies. Tom and Laura obviously take great pride in their cottage and for providing a first class experience for their guests. We would definitely stay there again.

Autumn at the beach!
The hosts for this property are truly wonderful. From the initial contact to the signing out, they were warm, welcoming, and available for any and all questions. The property is immaculate and modern with several recent kitchen updates. The cottage is well stocked with all the amenities necessary to make any visit very enjoyable. The location is beautiful and peaceful… a perfect week!

Great home on Cape Cod
Enjoyed our stay on Cape Cod. Biked over 120 miles on the many trails. Perfect location to see everything. Hosts suggestions and thoughtful starting items were appreciated and made our stay trouble free.

Fabulous place!
We had a fabulous stay at this lovely cottage. The cottage was very nicely decorated and provided everything and anything you need to enjoy a beach vacation. Plus, there was a Cape Cod themed gift basket with wine and chocolate – who doesn’t love that!!
The cottage is on a quiet road with no traffic. Private beach is steps away and you have views of the ocean from the front porch and the upstairs bedroom.
We were on a family vacation with grandkids, etc. and walking the short distance to the Maushop village shops was perfect for the kids. On Friday and Saturday nights there is great entertainment for old and young to enjoy. Ice cream, toy store, restaurants, and mini golf all included at the shops!
We would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful cottage and village.

Amazing cottage in great location
We loved staying at this cottage. It's beautiful and bright with lots of private outdoor space to enjoy meals or sit and relax with a book. The décor of the house is so tasteful. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated with a beach theme. They provide everything you need for a wonderful stay, even a welcome basket!
It's only a few minutes walk to the steps that lead to the private beach. It's never too crowded.
Upon arrival we got to meet the owners Tom and Laura which was very nice. They gave us a tour of the house and answered all of our questions.
We can't wait to go back ! Thank you for letting us enjoy your gorgeous home.

So Relaxing!
Wonderful Cottage! We stayed there for one week and would have loved to stay for much longer if we could have. There is a private beach that you are allowed to use less than 5 min. away (walking). The inside is beautifully designed and decorated, with such a relaxing, airy atmosphere. There is a collection of board games, DVDs, and a Roku TV with so many different channels! Nice to enjoy after a day at the beach. There's a grill outside which we used a lot for delicious dinners. You can also eat outside, there is a table and umbrella on the patio. If the windows are opened, there is a lovely ocean breeze that flows through the house.

Our Son and Daughter-in-laws Wedding
Thank you Tom and Laura for sharing your beautiful "Cottage" with us. Your attention to detail in this beautiful property was outstanding. We loved everything about it. This was the perfect spot and we totally lucked out with the weather. The ocean breeze was so refreshing at night, and everything in your home was so comfortable, cozy and so beautifully decorated. This property was in close proximity to all amenities'. We enjoyed the short walk to the Maushop Village shops and how close we were to the Popponesset Inn for the Wedding celebration. We enjoyed walking on the beach, or just relaxing sitting outside on the beautiful patio or inside in this beautiful home, listening to the surround sound Sonos system. This property is spacious and impeccably decorated. Tom and Laura were the best hosts, greeting us upon arrival and showing us around the property and answering any questions as well as providing information of what to do while staying in the area. This is most certainly a place we hope to return to in the future.

Magical
Our stay at Tom & Laura's cottage was nothing less than magical! If we could rate our stay higher than five stars we would! The cottage itself is clearly a luxury property with every detail attended to. The communication was amazing and seamless, the photos of the cottage are accurate and show the great attention to detail and intended comfort for the guests who stay there. Check in and out again was so simple. We so enjoyed meeting our hosts and were able to tell them personally how over the moon we were with the cottage and our stay. The view of the ocean, the ocean breezes , the quiet and calmness of the area all contributed to a great stay. We cannot wait to return!

We absolutely loved this place!
We stayed at this lovely property the week of May 1-8, 2020. We had a wonderful time. It is perfectly situated with a short walk to the beach and a short walk to a general store, raw bar and other amenities. The home is beautiful and well appointed. The owners, Tom and Laura, met us during the check-in process and were very friendly. They provided lots of information and even left us a gift basket! They didn’t miss a detail. They are A+ hosts. This area of the cape is truly beautiful. We will be back!

Exceptional cottage and location
This cottage is outstanding. It's beautifully decorated, comfortable and fully equipped. Tom and Laura were "5-star" hosts. They met me upon arrival, showed me around and were readily available during my stay if I had any questions or concerns.
The location is steps to the beach, quiet, relaxing and was a wonderful spot for my get-away. I highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Perfect Getaway
We could not have enjoyed our stay more! As soon as you walk into this cottage, you feel relaxed and on vacation- yet you also feel right at home. Tom and Laura have thought of everything, and have packaged it in a home with sophisticated and charming furniture and decor with just the right amount of “beachy” vibe. After marveling at all the details, you are ready to move in (and already planning your next stay). We were lucky to have had beautiful weather and enjoyed walks on the wooded trails, afternoon reading on the beach and cocktails on the patio. The marketplace was mostly closed for the season, but is so convenient and we did enjoy one of those amazing lobster rolls! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and allowing us to really get away from it all for awhile.

Lovely Long Weekend
My husband and I stayed at this property over Columbus Day weekend. The location is great - just steps to the beach and easy driving to shopping and several other towns. Tom and Laura were great hosts, every little detail of the accommodations was thoughtful and made the stay stress-free.

Beautiful home!
This beach cottage provided a much needed respite! The cottage is very clean, quiet, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Tom and Laura were great to work with. Maushop Village is lovely, and provides lots of opportunity to walk and be outdoors. There are some great restaurants and good shopping nearby. We will be back!

Wonderful week on the cape
We loved our week in New Seabury at this cottage. It is one of the most spacious layouts in Maushop and beautifully decorated. Perfect location for going to the beach and marketplace. We can't wait to return.

This beautiful cottage is luxurious while still being quaint. It's obvious that there was a lot of thought that went into the decor. It is beachy but at the same time classy and comfortable. The furniture is tasteful throughout. The couch and beds are ridiculously comfy, and there are portable AC units in each bedroom which helped us to sleep restfully on the warmer nights. There is a wonderful ocean breeze that comes through the cottage on cooler days that really makes you feel like you are on vacation! There is also a Sonos audio system throughout the cottage which allows you to play music wirelessly from your phone or tablet and the sound itself is fantastic...very cool. The cottage comes with everything you need, so before you go to the store and buy anything I would check first to make sure it's not already there. The neighborhood is clean and the grounds are meticulously kept with gorgeous flowers everywhere and the lovely private beach is just a short 2-3 minute walk from the cottage. All of the people that we came into contact with were very friendly and polite. There is also a little outdoor village within walking distance with putt-putt golf, beach shops, a candy shop, ice cream, pizza & poboys, burgers, fresh seafood (Lobster rolls!!), alcoholic beverages, and even live music! Tom and Laura were so wonderful throughout. They communicated leading up to the trip, during the trip, and after the trip. In fact, they responded lightening fast every time I emailed with questions before the trip...by far the fastest responses that I have experienced with VRBO. They met us at the cottage when we checked in and toured us around the cottage and the grounds and to the beach. They even had a beautiful gift basket waiting for us with a thoughtful card, wine, and snacks! Nice touch! They gave us helpful suggestions on where to eat and some places to visit and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were having a good time and didn't need anything. I can't say enough positive things about our visit. We loved it and had a wonderful time! Thanks Tom & Laura!

Great location in very well appointed vacation home!!!
The owners are very helpful and communicate very well. It's an extremely well kept and refined property that's a couple of short blocks to the beach. Would love to see the village come alive after COVID19 passes. It definitely helped us recharge!!!

Immpecable Beach Cottage!!
We recently stayed at 7 Folgers Way and let me first start by saying we have been renting in Maushaup Village for the past 10 years. Nothing compares to staying at this immaculate beach house. The cottage is completely renovated with all brand new modern updates and is decorated right out of a pottery barn magazine. The owners Tom and Laura have thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay. They have literally taken into consideration every detail to make you feel at home and. The cottage is absolutely spotless and very well maintained. Everything in this cottage is high end from appliances to the bed linens. The cottage is centrally located, minutes walking distance to the beach and close to the walking path that leads to the Market place . Offers beautiful views of Nantucket Sound from many different vantage points in the house. The master bedroom also has and AC unit which is a HUGE plus to this cottage. You wont find many other units that offer that. This home is exactly what you would expect a beautiful beach cottage to be. Other units should take note. This unit far supersedes the others in the complex.
Tom and Laura's cottage is so well appointed there were times our family just wanted to hang in and enjoy dinner and drinks on the comfortably furnished front patio.
The private side yard is a great space for the little ones to play and to park your bikes, and the rear patio worked well to keep sandy beach toys. The cottage also come with beach chairs, beach towels, a small cooler for the beach and boogie boards. They really have thought of everything for their cottage!!!
This cottage has the bed and breakfast feel that you are looking for. Tom and Laura greet their guests upon arrival to make sure they can answer any questions that you might have and to help get you acclimated to the unit and the area if you aren't familiar with it.
My family has enjoyed our stay so much this year that we have already booked our stay for next year and hopefully many more years to come.

Excellent Experience
We have stayed at Maushop many times over the years. Tom & Laura's cottage is one of the nicest that we have stayed in. They have paid great attention to detail: There is everything in the cottage that you might need and everything works! The place was spotless. The decor is nautical and very pleasant. The appliances are high end. Most Maushop cottages are close to the beach and this one is no exception. Tom & Laura were very attentive and responsive with answers to our questions. Totally recommend and we hope to be back!

Maushop Village at it's best!
I have stayed in four different cottages within Maushop Village. This one is definitely the best one yet. The décor is exactly what you would expect a beach cottage to be; the others in the village should take note. The completely renovated cottage was extremely clean and offered special touches from the owners, such as a lovely arrival gift basket and conveniently coded entry doors. 7 Folgers is centrally located within the entrance of the Village and the back walking path giving beach views from the sun room and master bedroom along with privacy. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom, which is a huge plus for those used to having full time air conditioning. Hopefully, the guest bedroom will also have air conditioning next year. I obviously highly recommend this cottage for rental!
