Die Smith Lake-Fassade ist nur wenige Schritte von der Hintertür entfernt und bietet einen überdachten Unterhaltungspavillon, eine Bootsanlegestelle und sogar einen privaten Park. Tolles Angeln ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt! Nur eine kurze Bootsfahrt zum Smith Lake Park, zur Big Bridge und zu mehreren Jachthäfen. Diese Unterkunft befindet sich am Hauptkanal, ABER in einer privaten Bucht, die Sie vor dem Lärm und den Wellen des Bootsverkehrs schützt. Tiefes Wasser und toll zum Schwimmen!
Diese Unterkunft ist eine ehemalige Schwiegermutterwohnung und befindet sich im Untergeschoss des Haupthauses. Es gibt keinen Zugang von der Hauptwohnung in diese Wohnung. Es hat einen eigenen Eingang und einen Parkplatz (groß genug für 3 Autos). My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful home. The owners were kind and inviting and showed us around the property. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking. We ate meals looking out the window at the scenery. We had our pontoon boat and put it in at Smith Lake Park which was about 3-5mi down the road. We would come back here for sure!

The property and its owners J&D are amazing. The downstairs apartment was just a 100 feet from the beautiful boat dock. The apartment was quiet with kitchen, family room, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. For large boat owners, I highly recommend launching at Smith Lake Park, which is a 10 minute boat ride, because the drive into the property is very steep. This is our favorite place to stay on the Smith Lake.

We totally enjoyed our stay. You could not ask for more friendly owners. They live there onsite and will answer if you knock if you have any questions. Sweet Couple. the place is beautiful we could use the whole dock with our boat pulled in and 2 jet skis tied to the side. Tons of waterfront to explore. They allowed our dog and we are very thankful for that. The driveway is steep but we did fine in a Truck loading the jet skis. Thanks again.

Beautiful property lovely owners
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained! Great lake access and very peaceful and private. The owners Jonas and Doris were lovely and accommodated our every need. Thanks for allowing our pups to come! They loved roaming the property and swimming in the lake.

Beautiful, quiet and secluded
We LOVE this property and will stay again! We did not bring a boat but the property manager let us know several days in advance that if we brought a boat, we would need 4WD to put in the water at the boat ramp.
The property is beautiful! The house is spacious and had all utensils we needed. It was very clean! The owners, Jonas and Doris were nice and kind.

We spent a week here and had a blast. The dock was awesome to spend time on and fish.
If you do fish be sure to bring a net. Believe me, you’re going to hook some big ones.

Fun times had by all
Friendly owner who was on-site and greeted us right away to make sure we had what we needed. Awesome location on the cove, lots of privacy. Super steep driveway, need to have a car or truck that can climb a very steep hill. We plan on staying again.

Excellence at its best
All of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jonas and Doris were a pleasure to meet. We spent a good bit of time with them and enjoyed every minute. Both of them met us as soon as we got there and let us know that if we had any problems to let them know. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful, steep for boats, minor issues
We stayed at the property for a fishing tournament. Very convenient for being directly on the lake. The owners are wonderful and my review has nothing negative to say about them. We were towing a boat and the directions given to us by the property manager had us using a very narrow, steep, gravel driveway to access the property. Our vehicle was 4 wheel drive and yet we were sliding! Very scary! There are actually paved driveways we could have used which the owner told us about after we arrived. If you plan on bringing a boat be aware it is very difficult to navigate the space provided as everything is on a very steep incline. Bring chocks for your boat trailer. The house needs some minor upgrades. The oven was cooking well over 50 degrees. We had to throw out one meal. The couch is peeling causing pleather to stick to you and your clothes. It gets everywhere. Hopefully they will replace or cover it. We had to lay blankets over the couch to sit down. The “futon” is not a futon and really only sleeps one. It will tip over if you lay on one side. Maybe ok for small kids. Kitchen utensils are minimum and some need replacing. It could use a deep cleaning. The surface areas were clean but other areas were not. Several of the warm blankets smelled like dogs. Had to wash some before using them. The boat dock electrical outlets are not working. You have to run extension cords up to main pavilion to charge boat. Bring a couple of long ones! The property itself is beautiful! While these things were minor I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again. Again the owners are precious! These issues were told to property manager so hopefully they will be addressed.

We had a great time over Thanksgiving. The property was beautiful plus we had access to the grounds. My elderly parents stayed with us and the property was well equipped for them. That was a very nice perk.

This property was perfect for us. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. The property is awesome with paths that make getting to the boat dock easy. The pavilion was perfect for taking a break from the sun but still being outside close to the water. We would definitely stay here again!!

You’d have trouble finding a place on the lake with more shoreline. It’s quiet and peaceful. We loved jumping off the dock into the water. The owners are very friendly.

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful long weekend at this beautiful property. We had three large dogs who also had a blast swimming and walking/running around the well kept 20+ acres.

Lovely place with great Owners!
We enjoyed our stay at this lack house. Breath taking view with beauty of nature, friendly owners. We didn't want to leave that place, so cooked our meals and appreciate every minute of our vacation. Recommend to go with Groceries and drinks for your stay. You can always go to Cullman get stuff or eat out too. We would like to go back when we can.

Fantastic Getaway
It was a nice place and was meticulously manicured. Great amenities. Large dock that held our boats and jet skis. Excellent gazebo with grill, swings and fire pit. Owners on premises were very accommodating. Highly recommend staying there.

Awesomeness
we had an awesome time at the property. the outdoor space was great and we utilized it to its fullest. Plenty of space to walk around and on the shore of lake and watch the beautiful sunset. Brannon was very responsive and the Property Owners were very friendly and inviting and seemed to enjoy having us at their property. would definitely stay there again. Apartment basically had everything needed for our stay.

The pictures don’t lie! The property is unbelievable. Great outdoor areas for doing any outdoor activity you can think of - all surround by a unique garden. The inside was spacious and comfortable; the bathrooms were clean. The outdoor area is where you’ll be 90% of time - you will want to see the sunrise and sunset. Wish the kitchen was better stocked because we cooked for all of our meals. And the unit got very hot starting early in the morning and throughout the day, despite running the AC

My husband and I had a peaceful week on the lake. Jonas and Doris were very nice. The property is beautiful. I relaxed on the dock while my husband swam. It's a large private cove perfect for boating and fishing or just wading in the water.

Beautiful garden home with gorgeous lake view
Perfect property for me, my husband and our dog. We enjoyed daily walks through the beautiful gardens. We enjoyed several meals sitting at the dinner table looking out at the gorgeous lake. The master bed provided a good night’s sleep and the overall living area was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
