What we liked the most, was the breakfast with eggs and honey from the farm and natural products.

The heating came on in the middle of the night and the water in the shower was very hot.

Breakfast was excellent with built in surprises.. Our hostess went beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

The weather. Wet and windy but didn’t deter us.

We just loved the style and the setup of the apartment (upper floor). Modern but with the wooden cover on the walls gave a special atmosphere. It had an air conditioner and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. On our request, the hosts could provide gluten-free breakfast and it was delicious and wonderful. We should highlight the friendliness of the hosts. They can arrange different programs, e.g. we could go on a boat trip with the host and we liked every moment of it - and to learn about the region.

Check in is easy and fuss free. The hosts are very friendly and approachable. The room has a microwave oven and adequate cutlery. As it's at the top floor of a house with sloping roof, the entrance, kitchen & toilet and bedroom are at 3 different levels. There is variety of food offered for breakfast served between 8.30am to 9.30am. It comes in a trolley at the ground level. We then go down to pick it. The 3 types of bread and eggs are warm food. There are 2 types of cheese, 3 types of cured meat, coffee, tea, honey, juice, etc. Location: at north of the town in a quiet neighbourhood and away from the hustle and bustle. 5 minute walk behind the property is a lovely stretch of houses by the canal. Giethoorn is a pretty town. I will stay here again if I come back to Giethoorn with a car.

Internet is not strong but sufficient for Whatsapp.

We loved our stay at Tulden Farmhouse. Mirjana and Pieter are wonderful hosts. The accommodation is so warm and comfortable! The beds are amazing we had such a comfortable sleep and the breakfasts were so tasty and generous!

House is nice, rooms are good and 1 room was big where the 4 of us could have breakfast and hangout. Breakfast was very nice. Close to the main attractions in Giethoorn.

Everything was fine. The host was very welcoming and attentive. The room was cozy and the small kitchnette well equipped. The breakfast was really yummy and well done.

Cozy house; perfect location out of the - normally- busy center of Giethoorn. Car needed to get around. OR rent a boat or kayak from the owner and go on the water. Quite at night, altough its on the road, but not the main road. Nice common terrace for the guests!

We think the room can get very hot in the summer when its warm outside... NO airco! (But a big ventilator in the room) The room on the ground floor is cosy, but "cosy small" as all houses in Giethoorn. In fact the room consists of separate rooms: toilet, kitchinette, bedroom, second small bedroom/mini livingroom, and bathroom with bath! :) and shower! NICE

Breakfast was fantastic. Hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the room was very cozy. It is a bit far from the touristic part of Giethoorn, but no problem by bike or car. Some steep stairs that we needed to carry the dog, when coming down, but they warned us by message beforehand. A pity we only stayed one night, 2 or 3 would be perfect on such a nice place.

The B&B is very well situated and nicely decorated. Communication with the hosts was easy and breakfast was delicious!

Very peaceful B&B, in a quiet neighbourhood. We stayed in bonte spec room on the ground floor which had a bath and an additional bedroom for a third person. Room tastefully decorated and space optimised, we loved the electric fire place with the log effect, and the super comfy bed. We hired bikes from the B&B and cycled around the local area. We also hired the boat belonging to the B&B for a small fee, and sailed for an hour around the canals which was very beautiful and peaceful. They have two friendly dogs that were well behaved along with chickens, bees and goats! We had a very nice stay even though there was hardly anything open due to Covid restrictions and would not hesitate to return again.

If we really had to be picky we missed milk for the tea/coffee on a morning :) We would have liked to see some local beers in the fridge on offer instead of Heineken :)

The room was on the upper floor, super clean and very comfortable ++for the mattress
