Good to have the bike to travel around

A took out the trash and unmade the bed but I'd rather not be asked to do so.

Small cozy place at the canal, lovely experience

There was no bath soap and the kettle was not clean from the previous guests, rest was perfect

Clean place and very warm as we visited in December and outside was almost snowing. Always hot water in the shower and bikes (for free) under the stairs for your easiest transportation as the location of the house is not in the center.

There wasn't a stove or a kitchen really. Only a microwave so if you want to go for longer vacations you have to eat most of your meals outside. No windows that you can open only the door.

Nice and clean room. Fully equipped. Good location and nice view from balcony. Free parking and bicycle to ride around the area.

Nothing.

This was a room on top of a house with a small balcony facing a canal. Parking directly in front. There is a small grassy area next to the building where the dog could run around a bit. Directly next to a restaurant but there were no facilities other than the coffee maker in the room and a parking space.

There is an outdoor staircase leading up to the room. The stairs are a bit steep, and there are large holes on each step, I assume they are there to keep water from building up and freezing. The dog (a Labrador) had problems with the stairs particularly while descending. A paw was caught coming down once, and once the dog needed to be carried. The television only had TV in Dutch, no CNN or BBC.

Just the whole feel of the place, the view and location. Cute little parking spot right at the front and pet friendly. Great for couples and solo travellers for sure.

We loved our stay at Casa Sophie! Checkin was very easy, instructions were simple and clear, and the room was very clean and comfortable… the added touches like a Nespresso machine really put a cherry on top for us! The free bikes were really nice and comfortable too, and make a wonderful way of seeing the area. Overall we were very impressed with our stay, we would definitely come back again!

There were some neighbors that were pretty loud, but even still the insulation is thick and it went away… otherwise nothing we didn’t like!

The property is located very close to the beautiful boating village in Giethoorn. The owner is very responsive and gave clear instructions for self-check in. The room is small, but clean.

The amenities provided are a bit outdated. The kitchen doesn’t have a sink for doing the dishes. Bathroom had a foul odor and there was slight leak of water outside the bathing area.

The place is really good and comfortable for 2 people, quiet spacious and good to sit out and enjoy with beer during sunny days.

Most important a big mirror in the living room 😃

It is super clean space and has a lovely terrace which looks at one of the canals. The bed is super comfortable and the owner has been very helpful. You receive all the information you need beforehand.

Natasja gave us bikes to use for free during the stay. Great value for money with everything you need for a weekend get-away. Thank you,Natasja!

The host was very nice and caring, we could park our car and use her bikes for free. Everything was very clean, even the towels were sealed upon arrival. (all communications are via WhatsApp because of the pandemic).

There was no sink, so we had to do the dishes in the bathroom, and there was also no lights in the "kitchen" area. We stayed in winter & corona times (dark at 16h and all restaurants closed), but on a normal post-corona summer time, we wouldn't have missed those things that much.
