The color of the property stood out.

Environment was not clean, dirty soap on the sinks in the rooms, genital hair on one sink, a musky smell from the double queen room, stains on the sheets on one bed. We were harassed while using the grill from a random man that said the grill for the hotel he bought it and it was his grill after hotel front desk said we could use it. We sweat all night because the AC was half out in our room and we had 3 kids, in conjoined rooms. One of the tvs in the room didn’t work. Front desk when we checked in were rude, when we didn’t realize we couldn’t use a cash app card and we’re trying to figure out our options she tossed us to the side & didn’t offer to help: I came down and ask for a fork at one point and you would have thought she had to break a leg to walk to get it.

During my last stay, there was a constant banging on the 1st floor, and bugs 🐛 were in the room which i had to check all bags to make sure we wasn't taking them home 🤢

Size of room the renovations

Mildew smell and the upkeep of the walls and shower curtain. The handle came off while taking a shower. The front desk attendant was on a walkie talkie most of the whole time. The cleaning person was talking to the front desk clears while we were trying to be serviced. Rude.

The place was very clean and the rooms were updated and nice! There was a pool, small exercise room and daily hot breakfast. Free WiFi, very close to everything and the price is very reasonable. Will stay here again!

The workout room was small, but you could still get a workout.

The bed was a little too soft but comfortable

The location isn't in the best part of town, it's very run down. Jacksonville isn't the nicest city anyway but I would recommend staying on the nicer end of it at a higher end hotel. The hotel was just okay, nice on appearance inside overall but I likely wouldn't stay again.

(My opinion only) The lobby smelled like cigarettes (non smoker) and the hotel itself just had an unpleasant odor overall through building but it's likely and older building too. The first night, my skin was very itchy from the bed, the second night it was fine. The staff was just okay overall, we didn't even want to eat breakfast in the lobby or use the pool etc so I overall would not have chosen this hotel if it weren't for pricing.

Check in gentleman was very nice and quick. Said Welcome Back every time we came back. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. Provided pool towels. Plenty of parking and in great location near many shops and restaurants.

Check out lady was very rude, refused to give me a check out receipt. Breakfast area is very small for a booked hotel, had to eat breakfast in our room. Bed frames are heavy metal platforms, mattress slides and hit legs off frame several times. Pool closes early and had no outside lights. Hotel was clean but air freshener smell at elevators was over powering!

Pillows were not comfy. Blankets need to come up higher on the bed.

First thing you notice is its location prefect dosent get much better, Very clean place youll notice that right way the staff was very polite and attentive thru out the whole trip i loved it here 10/10 for me

Shower is outdated in the room and not updated like the rest of the room. The knob was hard to adjust the temperature

The staff are so friendly. The rooms are clean and everything smells so good. The breakfast was wonderful and the location is great. I will definitely be staying here again.
