We had an amazing stay at the Royal Oak. The staff were attentive, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was amazing, the chef would be very proud of the food they serve.

There was nothing we were unhappy with.

The bar and food in there is really good. The room was nicely furnished however the brand new bedside lamps had a 2 pin plug so could not be used as there was only 3pin sockets

It was freezing no heating at all and the second morning no hot water. Breakfast was a joke. 3 slices of stale bread (1 a crust) 3 slices of chorizo and no yoghurts left at 9am clearly not catered for enough guests. It transpired that the manager knew the boiler was broken but did not contact us before arrival to inform us and give us the Opportunity to cancel. They have ignored my 2 emails complaining and have also ignored a Bookings.com contacting them regarding my complaint. It’s a shame as if this was run by a compétant professional this would be a great place to stay but it was completely rudderless. The staff had no idea about the boiler or the lack of hot water. We bought an electric heater to use in the room it was so cold The venue did not offer to provide one!!book here at your peril.

The property is lovely! The pub downstairs was so nice! Our room was beautiful too, super comfy bed and spotless! The staff were fantastic, the lady that showed us to our room was super friendly! Couldn’t fault it

Great place to stay to visit London. Room was comfortable and very clean. We had a delicious evening meal. Breakfast was good. Easy parking on site.

Lovely property. Nice rooms, well kept friendly staff. Full English breakfast on one morning and a continental breakfast second morning. A little bit expensive for a bed and breakfast but overall a nice place to stay

Our experience was ruined due to my car being vandalised and had parts stolen while parked on the car park.

The managers lack of support or interest that a paying customer has had their car damaged while on their premises ,with calls and messages ignored. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Lovely pub,friendly staff.We had Sunday lu ch which was good and reasonably priced. The roo.m was spotless clean with a Comfortable bed.

The room was very small for a luxury room.The bathroom was tiny, (room 7).

Traditional clean tidy refurbished pub great food friendly atmosphere and entertainment on some nights great enclosed covered quirky beer garden

Parking was available, friendly staff, convenient location, very clean accommodation, everything we needed was provided, good breakfast. We’ve stayed at The Royal Oak previously, we would highly recommend it.

The staf were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and also good pub food in the evenings. The whole property is well kept and very comfortable
