The reception was friendly. The staff were quite helpful.

Initially, I was given Rm 202. It was a good room and the aircon was working. Half way through unpacking, I was informed the wrong room was given. I was shown the next room Rm 203. I obliged and transferred my things to Rm 203. After half an hour, I found the aircon can only deliver 26C temperature even though the controller was set to 18C. I informed the staff and I was shown another room Rm 302. However the aircon was also of the same issue as Rm 203. Both aircons require recharging of the refrigerant. I could not get back Rm 202 due to it’s an adjoining room and according to the staff, the noise penetrates. I decided to turn the fan in Rm 203 to maximum. The noise of the rushing wind induced a headache. When the fan speed was set to low, there’s a constant ticking noise with each fan revolution. Thank goodness I was the only occupant so I tolerated it. For couples, this 26C is too hot to sleep together. I noticed the guests in room Rm 204 had check out. The aircon was working fine in this room. I asked for the room. One of the housekeepers informed me that the room had been reserved for the incoming guests. Noted that the previous occupants and next occupants for Rm 204 are white people. I hope there is no prejudicial treatment to guests coming from the Far-East that they can be treated with less importance then the white people. I am particular about room condition. After all, a good room makes the guest happy. Then the shower room wash basin had a leak in the hose under it. This flooded the toilet floor. Due to the floor is tilted the wrong way, the water cannot drained to the scupper and remained in the floor. All the rubbish under the wash basin, the beard shavings, soap were on the toilet floor. This is a concern as the people can slip and fall, and a hygiene concern. The older housekeeper said he shall have this attended to that day. This never happened. The toilet has a window that opened onto the corridor.

Great place!!! Big recommendation!! The rate is is my opinion to low for this luxery. The rooms are real luxery, neat and clean. The water in the shower is warm. The swimmingpool is beautiful and the place is quiet. Nice view in the garden without any neighbors. Best place i have been in Srilanka for below €100 a night with my family (and this was only €40).

The staff could not have been better, they went out of their way to do little extras fir us. The breakfasts were amazing!

Nice, clean place close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Large room with good wifi. Quiet at night and with helpful staff. The resort has a nice pool with sunbeds. In addition you could rent sundbeds at the Sunwing hotel at the beach.

Had to walk up a dark alley to get to the resort, was a bit creepy at night as a solo female traveller as guys in Negombo could be a bit pushy. Airport shuttle was offered at 6000 lkr, way to expensive as you can get an Uber for 2000 lkr.

- It is like a real hotel and it was the only time I experienced this in Sri Lanka in like 10 different hotels - Very nice furniture

- The breakfast was not good: Instant coffee, 4 pieces of toast and 2 Marmelades. Compared to all the other breakfasts I had, at least I had wished for some fruit or something of the Sri Lankan cuisine - I had a huge cockroach in my room - Very noisy sometimes

The beds are comfortable, personal was great
