Stunning views, beautiful rustic style and comfort, wonderful people, great food and a home from home atmosphere. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

What’s not to love?

Nestled on a hilltop overlooking one of the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen, Verdad is truly a one of a kind experience. The entire property is beautifully designed and the staff is extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The food was delicious and fresh and there’s really almost nothing better then sipping a coffee in the morning overlooking the coast all the way to Costa Rica. The area around the resort is also pristine. The closest beaches, Playa Escameca and El Yankee both have powdery soft sand and warm clear water with excellent surfing waves for beginner to expert. I’ve honestly never experienced anything else quite like Verdad in all of Central America. Thank you Marc and the entire staff at Verdad for making our experience unforgettable!

Beautiful jungle location, high up in the tree tops near the beach. Resort to just ‘get away from it all’ if you’re not planning on surfing. Meals were brilliant - breakfast and dinner.

Lack of atmosphere - probably because low number of guests so can’t necessarily be helped. Room was impressive but on the small side and bed not the most comfortable.
