We loved the location. We know the area a little as we have family in Yeovil so it was easy to meet up and plenty of walks and paths from the door. Enjoyed our walk to Barrington Court across the fields and back.

With 4 adults another shower room would've been ideal, but not essential. 2 loos very handy!

Great find! Lovely and clean, really well thought out welcome extras...even breakfast cereals!!! And super tasty cup cakes. Outside had lots of seating to enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds. Leaving! Well equipped for a lazy weekend with friends.

5/5 stars. 700 Westport exceeded our expectations. We stayed in this property from 22 February to 10 March 2022. The whole house and around it were very clean. Sandra (host) was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the delicious welcoming cupcakes and it was very thoughtful that there was rice krispies for our toddler. They also provided eggs, milk, and bread. We especially liked the attention to details. The location of the house is very beautiful. Photos don't really show enough how beautiful the place is. It was a delight to see different types of birds in the garden and by the canal. The next door neighbour was kind and friendly too. It was very relaxing coming back to the property after work. It is also not far from nice restaurants. The nice fully equipped kitchen is actually bigger than how it looks like in the photo - even dishwashing became enjoyable while looking at view outside. Everything in the kitchen works so well and of good quality. The living room sofa is very comfortable too. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this property and been advertising it to friends and family. Can't wait to stay here again. Kind regards Matt

Pretty, cosy cottage. Clean & comfortable. Plenty of places in the local area to visit. Lots of great walks. Coast not far to drive to including Jurassic beach.

Stairs quite steep to two of the bedrooms. Road noise as it’s close by.

The property was exceptionally clean and has been refurbished to a excellent standard. Sandra had left lots of personal touches and even decorated for Xmas for us. Lovely treats of biscuits and chocs. couldn’t fault our stay

Absolutely nothing.

The cottage is so cosy and comfortable, lovely furniture. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival with gorgeous muffins! It was so relaxing and just what we needed.

The photos did not do the property justice, it has been renovated very well and is extremely comfortable. The location is good.

A large mirror would be really good, we were attending parties so it mattered!

Plenty of equipment excellent location and lovely garden excellent property lovely host who came to see us after we arrived. Lots of goodies left for us like milk bread eggs cakes etc.

The only draw back was it was assumed that we would only be using the double bed so there was no other bedding in case we wanted to use another bed. To be fair though I’m sure if we asked it would have been provided.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, well equipped and clean. Friendly hosts and a lovely pub down the road!

Sandra was a fab host and we all had a great stay at the property. Beds were comfy and everything was very clean and tidy. The picture of the garden doesn’t do it justice as the bridge is not a normal road so it’s much more private than expected. Thanks for having us! :)

This little cottage is exceptional. A fantastically appointed kitchen. Lovely linens and decor. The garden is spacious with lots of sitting out areas, and the area is pretty special.

It was an excellent property that really exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped and suited a family of 4. The terrace area was amazing. The facilities in the house were ideal for a family.

Very little improvement as everything was catered for.

The location is exactly where we needed to be with long walks and peace and quiet. We took a short walk to the Lamb & Lion Free House where the staff were very welcoming and everything was very organised due to COVID-19.

Nothing could have been better for us. Only negative I could say is that the ground was hard due to the dry weather and was a bit difficult to walk on.

We appreciated that Sandra prepared milk; bread and fresh eggs in the fridge for us, this was very kind of her! THe property was very cleaned and we appreciated the silence around the house.

Excellent property tastefully furnished and fitted out; lovely personal welcome by owner with excellent welcome pack waiting for us indoors. Very quiet and central location for visiting Somerset and recommended local Lamb & Lion first class Sunday Lunch.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring and we managed to visit Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Brean, Lyme Regis and Charmouth in our weeks stay.
