Warm and friendly staff. Location close to the action of Chaweng but still far enough to not have any disturbance from it. Rooms were simple, but clean and had all I needed. Great value for money!

It was very nice and clean. Swimming pool was nice and our terrace had pool view. Staff was incredibly nice and they helped us with booking scooters and taxis. Location is 15 minutes walk from the town, so it quite calm.

Everything was nice, except we expected it to be closer to main town.

Lovely hotel, staff friendly, free tea/coffee. Bananas one day. Very quiet, comfortable bed. Nice small pool. 10 minute walk to shops we found this OK and was particularly quiet.

Not well signposted, our tuk-tuk driver couldn't find it on arrival. It's up a lane - although tucked out the way a bonus. Windows didn't lock and rattled, struggled with the lock on the patio doors but was fine as on 1st floor.

Meewaya is such a calm hostel close to chaweng beach. The pool is good sized, very warm at night for a last bath. The personnel is considered and they maintain a good cleaning level. Our stance was everything we could have desired, I would be back.

Folks that run the business are fantastic! Truly lovely humans. The rooms are huge and the pool is really nice to use to cool down from the heat of the day. Easy to catch shared pickup trucks to wherever you needed to go. Host can also provide transportation for a reasonable fee to the ferry, airport, etc.

Love that it's out of the chaos of Chaweng, just wish there was a little more around it. Very minimal breakfast options. More open for dinner/lunch. We ended up getting breakfast at a nearby hotel on the beach, but it was quite pricey.

Fabulous 15 night stay at Meewaya! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The owners, mother and daughter, are lovely and extremely helpful. They offer an airport taxi service and are always there to help. They are genuine, kind people. One of them drove me into central Samui one evening just out of kindness. The hotel is comfortable. I had a very spacious apartment on two levels with good air-conditioning, a fan and a key-locking safe. Sofa and TV area, kitchen area with fridge, kettle and sink. Large bedroom with loads of storage. A nice shower room. My own terrace with a table, 2 chairs, 1 sun lounger and clothes drying rail. The hotel is extremely clean, my room was cleaned and linen changed daily, including fresh bed linen. The pillows were nice too. My room looked out onto a pool area, with sun loungers, surrounded by lovely plants. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach. 7-Eleven is a 12 minute walk up and then downhill and you can get to Central Samui shopping centre and market by going the same way. It takes approximately 25 mins to walk or you can grab a taxi from just outside the hotel. I think Meewaya is exceptional value for the price. I’m so glad I spent timing reading all the excellent reviews and chose to stay there. Thank you Meewaya ❤️

We did not have breakfast at this property the manager and her staff were out standing we felt very welcome and nothing was to much trouble when we needed help or service a great friendship was made with the staff on this stay

- location was a bit off, but still ok - whenever the family started cooking our room smelled pretty bad because the smell of smoke was coming in through the AC

It was a very quaint and comfortable place to stay. The location was good, a small walk up a hill included though so that is something to consider if you have mobility issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air con was a life saver. The pool was lovely, a good size for a smaller property. The staff/owners were so kind and thoughtful, from sharing their watermelon with us on a hot day to giving us a lift to the ferry port when we left. Cannot rate them more highly. Recommend you stay there 100%.

There wasn't much to complain about. However if we had to be picky with something it would be that the place could do with a little TLC. The owner told me how the hotel was shut for 3 years due to covid so take that into consideration when placing judgements on the old box TV sets and a few missing tiles.

Did not have breakfast but the stay was wonderful, a little cozy resort very close to Chaweng main road, easy access to beach and sights nearby. Wonderful staff always ready to assist you at every need. Natty has been exceptionally helpful to make the stay fun and pleasant.

Nothing not too like, the resort has been re-open recently after the brutal 3 years of Covid-19 restrictions so things were still a bit on the renovation side but the rooms are quite large and comfortuable.

The rooms are big & clean, nice size pool outside and the staff are really welcoming :) Good Location close to Chaweng but the area is nice and quiet at night, about 15 minute walk into the center of Chaweng but the buses pass the hotel all the time. There’s some really nice restaurants opposite the hotel and a 7/11 a short walk away. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and there’s lots of resorts on the beach to grab food too.

Good spacious rooms, more like apartments, comfy beds and good a/c in bedroom. Enjoyed daily use of the pool to cool off. Small personal feel to this hotel and staff were very welcoming, accomodating, friendly and professional.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. You really feel at home here among friends. Excellent big rooms. Nice vibe. Not too far from Chaweng and close to the airport / pier.

Renting motorbikes was a bit of an hassle. Usually they deliver to you're resort, here we needed a lift from staff with the car and we felt the rent pricing were a bit overpriced. But, there was always the staff to help you out, so It wasn't a big issue.

- Big apartment - first pleace where I felt almost like on home - very nice owners, the lady drove us to the airport at 5 am - beauty swimmingpool but regrets I didn't used it

Impeccable room, peaceful area and a nice pool. The staff is super friendly and everything worked out very well. The manager's dog was especially nice since we were missing our dog so much back home so it was nice to have a dog friend during the stay :) Rooms very clean and bed comfortable. Internet was megafast, 500/500mbps

Nice location, 25 minutes walking distance to Central Samui. The personnel was kind and friendly. The rooms are quite big, it’s actually 1+1 house. I didn’t use but the pool also seemed welcoming.
