Great location, very close to the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our host was friendly and welcoming. Perfect stopover for a night or 2.

As many people have said, you need to be prepared for loud music coming from outside the hostel until 4am.

Location and staff

The hostel is located in a very vibrant and alive party of the city, so eventually the noise from outside will bother you. Much more a problem of the location than the hostel itself, however soundproof walls could help too.

Bit noisy at night we were there on a Saturday and Sunday - they did warn us when we arrived to put in earplugs

The atmosphere is really relaxed. It is mostely run by volunteers which do a really good job. They have a weekly bbq. The owner took as to the airport at 5:30 am. Outside is plenty space to relax.

The walls are pretty thin so you hear everything and everyone. It is located near a few clubs with loud music, so don´t forget the earplugs for a good night sleep.

Had a very warm welcome by the staff to a lively hostel. A laid back vibe next to the beach. Comfortable bed and fan in dorm.

This place is perfect for people that want to enjoy some active night life in Arica, as is it placed right beside clubs and restaurants. Also, it has a privileged location near Chinchorro beach. The staff is attentive and caring, they made our stay even greater and our first carnival experience an unforgettable one. Keep in mind a lot of the staff are young volunteers traveling through Chile and South America, so you get to know a lot of young people from all over the world. I specially recommend this place for young people or young couples that enjoy a fun conversation and learning from others. The private room is confortable, clean and everything you need is provided: bed sheets, towels, fan, etc.

A small thing but one of our windows was just beside a storage room, could benefit if covered for privacy.

This Place is very close to the beach. There's loads of nice people and the owners are always helpful und friendly. you can borrow surfboards, wetsuits and bicycles there free of charge. Would've loved to stay longer

The staff were fantastic. Made every effort to make my trip not just comfortable but fun.

The bar next door could be noisy at random hours of the night.

Amazing location just adjacent from the beach and a short walk from a well stocked mall, grocery store, hardware store etc. Nice kitchen and indoor/outdoor seating. Lounge area with big TV and sofas, and storage for bicycles/surf boards etc. Upstairs bar and terrace. Nice staff. We stayed in deluxe room and it had everything including mini fridge, kettle, bathroom, ample storage, TV and drinking water.

Not the fault of the hostal but the bars right next door played music until 5am several nights. We slept with earplugs so it was manageable so come prepared!
